Rinat Akhmetshin

Rinat Akhmetshin is a Russian-American lobbyist and former Soviet counterintelligence officer. Akhmetshin worked for BakerHostetler[1] and attended the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Natalia Veselnitskaya. Akhmetshin and Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS worked as unregistered foreign agents of the Russian government at the time lobbying for changes to the Magnitsky Act.[2]
