History and League Title Success
The team was a charter member of the AFL as the Oakland Raiders, where they played until 1981 before moving to Los Angeles, only to return to Oakland in 1995. However, failure to obtain a new stadium (their stadium in Oakland was shared with the MLB's Oakland Athletics, the only such sharing arrangement remaining) led to their relocation to Las Vegas in 2020.
The franchise has won three Super Bowls, in 1976, 1980, and 1983, in addition to one AFL title in 1967.
