Several years ago I nominated Col. Douglas Macgregor for Conservative of the Year. User:Conservative used my nomination to engage in a months and years long series of personal attacks against me (mens rea) on talk pages and in Essay space. All Conservapedia editors saw user:Conservative's trolling as a disincentive to participate in joint projects such as making nominations for Conservative of the Year. So then User:Conservative calls me to tell me he wanted to solicit Col. Macgregor to become an SEO consultant for Macgregor's new grassroots conservative organization, Our Country Our Choice (with the usual narcissistic spiel about what a brilliant genius he himself is, etc.) I asked what was going to happen when Macgregor runs a background check and discovers all the globalist and neo-nazi crap User:Conservative has added to Conservapedia? He hasn't mentioned Macgregor since.

But the bottom line is, his intimidation tactics via personal attacks and abuse of Essay space have disincentivized editors from participating in the Conservapedia project. RobS^{Zelensky Must Go!} 18:27, August 6, 2025 (EDT)
