Ever since neoconservativism became a dirty word after the Iraq war, the Hoover Institution has been attempting to scrub its reputation and website from being renowned as a bastion and hub for the development of "neoconswervative thought": The Stanford Review: Hoover's Neoconservatism Can't Last, February 21, 2025:

- Actually, I've been hearing more of Kotkin in recent weeks, not because I want to, but because he keeps coming up on my autofeed (such is the AI claptrap and algorithms in YouTube). Despite being anti-Trump, I find his criticism of Samuel Huntington in agreement with my own since the 1990s. One thing is for certain, he is not the vehement Russophobe that you paint him. This gives just one more example of your misuse of sources and incessant trolling I must keep an eye on. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 17:56, February 24, 2026 (EST)
- This article is linked to about 200 mainspace articles. If Donald Trump is elected in 2024, it's hammer time for the Chinese and Russian economies.
He is going to hammer China with high tariffs which is not good for their biggest oil seller Russia!
Trump would also ramp up U.S. oil and gas production, Mr. Putin. And get NATO members to up their defense spending. And have the USA produce weapons for Ukraine that European NATO members pay for. Break it down! Stop! Hammer time!
Please see:
*Donald Trump, who is favored to win the 2024 presidential election, wants to hammer China with high tariffs
*Russia's economy and gas and oil profits will be BADLY damaged when China's economy declines
