Henry Agard Wallace (1888 - 18 November 1965) was the second Vice President under Franklin D. Roosevelt from 1941-1945. He was not renominated as Roosevelt's running mate in 1944. He ran independantly in the United States presidential election, 1948, but lost to Harry Truman. [1]
