It's possible it's a good faith editor simply declaring their experience or expertise in a given field under their real name. It is doubtful someone in New York or Illinois is going to call her to unclog a stuffed toilet. In addition, I may try out CometBird. A quick suggestion: When you create articles like this, I would put in the software's greatest strengths and weaknesses. It seems to me the greatest strength of CometBird is its greater speed than Firefox. Here is a cool browser you may like by the way: Comodo IceDragon.  I rarely use Firefox now. :Check the moderation log. There are at least three bots running campaigns against CP. Two of them are SEO bots, creating an account with a brief write-up on the user page, and a single link to a website or page which someone is paying to promote. The other SEO bot creates a user page with a link as well, but then also posts an barely-readable article which makes no coherent sense and includes HTML tags which are incompatible with Wiki Markup. The "article" sometimes includes promoted links as well, but often not, so as to lend credence to the idea that this bot account is legitimate. And yes, I said at least three bots. There is at least one more bot, mass-registering accounts for future use, but letting the accounts "age" in hopes that makes them look more trustworthy when they are eventually used.

:You're welcome, and thanks for letting me know!  I'm glad those pages were a little helpful!  You're right--having the Pros and Cons is a good idea. Honestly, I don't know enough about some software to do that, but I'll see what I can do.  The main problem I foresee in trying to list Pros and Cons is that those are somewhat subjecting, and can vary.  For example, Opera had what I thought was a great browser for a while (since then, they switched to the Chromium engine) but some thought it was terrible.  What works well for one person, doesn't always work the same way for another.  None the less, I'll see what I can do.  Perhaps looking up a number of other reviews for the software would be advantageous.  Anyway, I'm rambling a bit.  I'll see if I can start adding those sections to at least some of the pages.  Thanks for the suggestion!
+
:To ensure I'm not blocking anyone legitimate, I'm allowing the mass-registrations. 98% of them are held by spam bots, but they haven't done anything yet, so I don't want to risk blocking a real user who is lost in the horde.--<font color="ForestGreen">DavidB4</font> (TALK) 18:51, October 9, 2026 (EDT)

: I think I might have heard of Comodo IceDragon before, but I'm not sure. I'll definitely add it to my list and see what I can do.  Thanks for that suggestion as well!  --David B (talk) XX:xx, 26 February 2016 (EST)

:And by the way, the article content, and the text in the "bio" are irrelevant. They are just filler to make the account look legitimate. The only goal is to publish the link. Then the bot can grab a screenshot, and charge the website or service for one additional posting of the promoted link. --<font color="ForestGreen">DavidB4</font> (TALK) 18:58, October 9, 2026 (EDT)

::::DavidB4, the intelligence in artificial intelligence reflects the intelligence of the programmers and its obviously not the intelligence of the machines.  Like a toaster is designed to toast.  A chess program is designed to win chess games.  ChatGPT/Claude is designed by programmers to write content and do other things as well.  The general trend of AI is that it is getting better. Thank you for your work on category clean up.  If you put an article in a subcategory, it should not also go in the category.  So, articles in :Category:United States Law should not be placed into :Category:Law or :Category:Laws.  A user who did not understand the tree-structure of categories added a lot of category tags in 2014-2015 that messed everything up.  A category should not be a subcategory of itself.  Also, if categories A B and C are subcategories of category X.  Then do not create a circle by placing X as a subcategory of A B and C. It's possible it's a good faith editor simply declaring their experience or expertise in a given field under their real name. It is doubtful someone in New York or Illinois is going to call her to unclog a stuffed toilet. Check the moderation log.
To ensure I'm not blocking anyone legitimate, I'm allowing the mass-registrations. 98% of them are held by spam bots, but they haven't done anything yet, so I don't want to risk blocking a real user who is lost in the horde.--DavidB4 (TALK) 18:51, October 9, 2026 (EDT)
And by the way, the article content, and the text in the "bio" are irrelevant. They are just filler to make the account look legitimate. The only goal is to publish the link. Then the bot can grab a screenshot, and charge the website or service for one additional posting of the promoted link. --DavidB4 (TALK) 18:58, October 9, 2026 (EDT)

You should probably be aware, that I cannot consider a talking toaster, to be the autoritative voice of truth. LLMs are useful tools, but so is fire, and I don't trust fire to always do the right thing, either.

I agree with you that AIs are not the authoritive voice of truth. When I use them to create content, I fairly often use 6 AIs and part of the reason is to have AIs check AIs in terms of error checking and/or gap analysis. I then check the content for errors too. So I look at AIs as tools, but not authoritative voices of truth. At the same time, Personal remark removed
