The Green Bay Packers are a National Football League NFL franchise based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. They are part of the National Football Conference (NFC) and play in the NFC North Division. They are the first team to win the Super Bowl. They played in Super Bowl I and defeated the Kansas City Chiefs. They also won Super Bowl II. The Green Bay Packers have more World Championships than any other franchise in the League's history, but not the most Super Bowl victories.

The team plays its home games at Lambeau Field, named after team founder Curly Lambeau. They are the only professional sports team owned by a city. The team was bought by Green Bay after it suffered from great financial woes in the 1950s.
