Kyrsten Sinema (born July 12, 1976) is a far-left progressive Senator from the state of Arizona and a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives. She is the first openly bisexual member of Congress; unsurprisingly, she has an extremely liberal voting record. She very narrowly defeated her opponent in the general election in November 2012,[2] and again in 2018.[3]

In 2003 Sinema summoned Code Pink and a coven of witches called Pagan Cluster to an anti-war rally.[4] Sinema said at the time she didn't care if an American joined the Taliban.[5] When questioned whether she regretted her original comments at an interview in 2018, she refused to answer directly, and instead made excuses.[6]
Sinema has called stay-at-home mothers "leeches."[7]
