Talk:Concession of people on the right to the Biden junta
Rename Request
We should rename the page. --United States (talk) 14:42, 3 December 2020 (EST)
- I don't have authority to move (rename) pages, but out of curiosity what would you rename it to? ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 14:52, 3 December 2020 (EST)
- I guess I know how to rename the page, but what name do you recommend me? --United States (talk) 15:02, 3 December 2020 (EST)
- Well, I'm perfectly fine with the current name, actually, and I'm kind of wondering why you're advocating renaming it. Is there a different name that you think would be better? Are you thinking it should be shorter? Do you not want quotes in the title? ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 15:15, 3 December 2020 (EST)
- I think the title is quite too long. --United States (talk) 15:16, 3 December 2020 (EST)
- Okay. As a more concise title, how about "Pseudo-conservatives' 2020 concession of electoral defeat to Joe Biden"? ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 15:23, 3 December 2020 (EST)
Is this page now just some trolling attempt?
The title is "Pseudo-conservatives' 2020 concession to the Biden junta". Thus, people will think that the people listed are phony conservatives. Just because Tom Cotton has some neocon leanings and bucks Trump in this important moment does not simply invalidate his record for years as a strong conservative and nationalist. I suspect some users here on CP to have a separate agenda of their own and aren't actually editing in our best interest. —LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! - There's no need to question my or other CP editors' conservatism (I created the page and have added most of the content including the bit about Tom Cotton; User:RobS moved it to this specific title; and User:United States didn't like the original title (see above discussion) which is why "Pseudo-conservatives" is even in the title). Please don't accuse me of "trolling"; this is my second-largest article, so obviously I've worked very hard on it. The intent isn't to castigate everyone on here as "pseudo-conservative," but bending the knee and conceding this election is a pseudo-conservative thing to do. Obviously I don't think Mike Cernovich is a pseudo-conservative and neither does Brandon Straka. The point is that any "conservative" who at this crucial moment joins the establishment mob thus stabbing us all in the back should be remembered as a weakling. We have to keep in mind that they did this. It's not like I didn't say that Cotton supported setting up a commission to investigate election irregularities, because I did say that. Maybe hereafter he just shouldn't be regarded as an asset. Justin Amash was considered an asset back in the Tea Party days, and look what happened there. ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 01:29, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- Anybody can go off the rails. What are conservatives going to do when Trump in retirement starts playing golf with Obama and Baby Bush? RobSFree Kyle! 01:36, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- I'm definitely not trying to be partisan, but Trump's done a lot of good for the conservative movement, and when "conservatives" turn on him it's often a good litmus test. If someone like Matt Gaetz, Don Jr., or heck even Kanye West becomes President in future the person will likely be treated similarly by pseudo-conservatives. ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 01:44, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- Just about most conservative Republicans who has received at least some notable media coverage over the past few years have criticized and opposed Trump in certain ways, though you seem rather selective about which you add info on, and your reasoning doesn't sound very solid. —
LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Tuesday, 01:55, 5 January 2021 (EST)- YOUR OWN USERPAGE calls me a "Great Conservapedia User" but now you're threatening to block me. Did you have a bad day or are in a bad mood or something? Don't take it out on me. Am I being selective, or are you being selective about me because you just decided not to like me for some reason? You're acting weird. ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 02:02, 5 January 2021 (EST)

- Yeah, RobSmith moved it to this title earlier, but you decided to include Cotton in the list as the title currently is. That would be to insinuate (at least from a likely straight-foward view by readers) that Cotton's current stance would invalidate his voting record for years. —

- I shouldn't follow the habits of some other users in being too quick to block. I'll have to thoroughly analyze all of BernieandTrumpFan's contributions to see if there's any other evidence that matches my parody suspicions or if such are rather coincidental, just to be sure. —
LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Tuesday, 01:51, 5 January 2021 (EST)- That's interesting, but it doesn't really follow my response about simple editing and talk page discussion practices. I really fail to see the connection between the point you raised at the top of this thread about having a debate on Tom Cotton's voting record, and blocking BernieandTrump as a parodist. Some on the list shouldn't even need explanation as being "pseudo-conservatives", given that our readers understand at least some basics of U.S. politics. It's pretty obvious that Govs. Hogan, Scott, and Baker aren't conservative. Why else would they be in those positions for deep blue states? —LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Tuesday, 00:50, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- How can you simultaneously criticize me for including true conservatives on the list AND say that people should just know that the pseudo-conservatives are pseudo-conservatives because, well, obviously. Do you just hate the phrase "pseudo-conservative"? I'm starting to think you're the one who's trolling. ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 01:29, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- If you're to include the RINO blue state governors in the "pseudo-conservatives" list, one would assume that they might be mistaken for true conservatives, which they aren't. All these separate categories are put into one "pseudo-conservatives" label based on this one important issue, which isn't helpful. —

- The page could be retitled Conservative concessions etc or something else. We have a similar list of Senators on the Objectors page. RobSFree Kyle! 01:22, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- How about, Conservative cowards who failed to confront the Marxist Revolution? RobSFree Kyle! 01:24, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- I like RobS's proposed title. ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 01:29, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- Fair point, as the page title can be moved to something more fitting, but I suspect BernieandTrumpFan at this point to possibly be a parodist, especially given this previous discussion affirming my current point. And he made these edits with the current title as is without beforehand requesting it be moved so that it perhaps would fit more accurately.
- And about what to possibly rename this page, if that's the plan, such might be best evaluated with a somewhat more extensive discussion. Perhaps we can simply have a separate section for now saying "Other individuals" or something. —

- I'm not a parodist for goodness' sakes, I'm just young and passionate. I'm a parodist...because I don't like Marco Rubio? Come on, please don't insinuate that I'm just some kind of troll. I don't care what the title is, I just don't like my work being insulted or my conservatism questioned. If people bend the knee now, what does that say about them? ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 01:41, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- RINOs who failed to confront the Marixts or something along those lines, RobSFree Kyle! 01:46, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- My point for bringing up that discussion had little to do with your opinion on Marco Rubio and much more with your explanations. While it is true that his SSCI record might be questionable, calling him a RINO/Never Trumper based on what you provided seemed like an arbitrary labeling since many Republicans have criticized Trump at times. —
LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Tuesday, 01:47, 5 January 2021 (EST)- I say again, young and passionate. I was just trying to find the most recent articles at the time with Rubio attacking/contradicting Trump. Perhaps I should have found a specific vote or policy that he was backing or what have you. I apologize, but don't you dare accuse me of not being conservative. ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 01:54, 5 January 2021 (EST)

- I say, Conservatives who failed to confront the Marxist Revolution. Let's leave the GOP out, and trying to decipher who is and who isn't a RINO. People like Cotton, McConnell, and Rubio can on the Objectors page under NeverTrumpers depending on how they vote after Wednesday. RobSFree Kyle! 02:11, 5 January 2021 (EST)

- We now have the collapse Template. In the future it may get used when an editor's contribution to a discussion are more in the vein of personal attacks and incivility rather then for improvement of an article. RobSFree Kyle! 02:30, 5 January 2021 (EST)
My proposal for now
Maybe the page title can be moved to "Concession of people on the right to the Biden junta"? Using the phrase "people on the right" would be much more broad than "pseudo-conservatives" and might fit the article better. —LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Tuesday, 13:57, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- That sounds good. Although it does include institutions, such as Fox News, but Fox News are people, too. The important thing is a contemporaneous record being kept. RobSFree Kyle! 14:03, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Since the page includes Republicans, right-leaning media, RINOs, and other figures, I figured that "the right" would be the best way to put this, at least for now. —
LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Tuesday, 14:19, 5 January 2021 (EST)- "Concesstion" makes it sound like there was a whole "concession of people on the right", so I made it "concessions" cause these were isolated events. RobSFree Kyle! 14:26, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- I think you made a mistake. You were supposed to move "Concession of people on the right to the Biden junta" to "Concessions of people on the right to the Biden junta", not move "Pseudo-conservatives' 2020 concession to the Biden junta" to "Concessions of people on the right to the Biden junta". After you moved the page title from "Pseudo-conservatives", it became a redirect. You were supposed to then move the content page, not the redirect. Multiple page title moves can often become somewhat confusing to follow... —
LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Tuesday, 14:32, 5 January 2021 (EST)- Fine. Thanks. If you thought your proposal through before posting, I wouldn't have made the cut n paste error. Mother warned me about people like you. RobSFree Kyle! 14:40, 5 January 2021 (EST)
- So the main idea now is that "Concession of people on the right to the Biden junta" should be moved to "Concessions of people on the right to the Biden junta", along with the talk page simultaneously. The other titles left as redirects in the moving processes can be fixed separately. —
