Also, the bigot/troll/idiot Fuentes seems to increasingly be a Biden supporter. —LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Saturday, 21:57, August 20, 2021 (EDT)

I disagree. I don't agree with everything Nick has to say nor do I consider myself a Groyper but the article was fine as it was. Nick can be a very immature troll at times and can say stupid stuff but the article should not be condemning him as an anti-Semitic bigot or calling him a Biden supporter at all. Fuentes is not in the same camp as David Duke and Richard Spencer and has condemned these kinds of people on numerous occasions. The only reason why he praised Biden's foreign policy was because of the Afghanistan withdrawal, which was started by Trump and needed to happen. Although Biden was disastrous in orchestrating the withdrawal, it can overall be viewed as a minor victory as it helped get us out of the Middle East. He's said a few things about Jews that he probably should not have said, but he overall seems more focused on putting America's interests over those of Israel, something Conservative Inc. does not want to talk about and do. Like it or not, Nick has helped the America First movement go mainstream and has even helped to fight establishment conservatives like Ben Shapiro. He's been targeted by the establishment so we shouldn't join them in smearing his character. -Mr. Nationalist (talk) 01:15, October 15, 2021 (EDT)

Mr. Nationalist, did you see the Twitter thread I linked to in the article? —LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Saturday, 10:58, October 16, 2021 (EDT)
Yes, I did. A lot of that is just him being edgy. I don't exactly like it and it is inappropriate in some ways, but a lot of it is taken out of context by mainstream conservatives like Benny Johnson. He said in a Zoom call debate that he believed everyone was equal before God and should be equal before the law, so it is hard to call him bigoted when he believes that. Also he said he supports the efforts of Booker T. Washington to advance civil rights. Obviously I don't agree with what he said about Jim Crow and the slurs he used against homosexuals and women and some of what he said about Jews, but much of it is likely him being sarcastic, so you can't take what he said seriously. Johnson resorted to using the same tactics leftists used to attack conservatives, and he should just leave him alone. The conservative movement is lost if it is concerned in wasting its time condemning a troll. -Mr. Nationalist (talk) 13:31, October 16, 2021 (EDT)
Exactly! That's what I'm saying! And LT, what's up with the warning you put over my reply? What did I say that was ad hominem or deflection? Was it my sarcasm or do are you just a staunch defender of Benny Johnson? Vince Did 7-14 (talk) 18:34, October 17, 2021 (EDT)
Huh, it's almost as if you're a sock of Mr. Nationalist... —LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Sunday, 18:43, October 17, 2021 (EDT)
So if he says something that that isn't bigoted, it's proof he isn't a bigot, but if it's excessively vile like the >dozen times he spouts racism, anti-Semitism, etc., one should just assume it's merely "edgy" or "sarcastic"? You aren't very good at hiding your intended schemes, Bongol- er, Mr. Nationalist. —LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Sunday, 16:27, October 17, 2021 (EDT)
One should assume with Nick that he is being edgy when making these kind of jokes, yes. Perhaps he is being too edgy at times and cut back a little bit, but he is still just being edgy. That is just the way Zoomer humor is. Zoomers tend to be edgy whenever they make memes or attack the left because that is just the way they are. They want to be competant because they have studied the failures of conservatives over the past 60 years or so and at times attempt to bait woke leftists. Their tactics are about utilizing power the same way the left does when achieving their goals because at how effective liberals have been at doing so. It's something where you kind of have to be an America First, Zoomer conservative who keeps up with stuff in order to understand. -Mr. Nationalist (talk) 23:27, October 22, 2021 (EDT)
As a zoomer, I can attest to this. ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 22:14, November 12, 2021 (EST)

(ec) Ok, so some kid learns in public school that he has a right to free speech. Then when he exercises it with some nonsense and gets smashed in the teeth by communists, how does that make him a spokesman or representative of conservatives? RobSFree Kyle! 16:10, October 17, 2021 (EDT)
How is, for example, comparing the Holocaust to baking cookies merely an "edgy, provocative sense of humor"? Sounds like you're either a subversive infiltrator or an actual shill for bigotry. Either way, it's certainly not in good faith. —LTMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Sunday, 16:07, October 17, 2021 (EDT)

From The Hill: "In an interview with The Hill, Fuentes insisted that he is not racist, anti-Semitic or a white nationalist. Fuentes said he believes that the Holocaust did take place and that the “cookies” bit was said for shock value.

“I’ve never advocated for a white ethno-state,” Fuentes said. “Multiracialism is here and we have to live with it and [the question is] how will we do that?”

Fuentes said that in hindsight, he probably would not have gone to the Charlottesville rally if he had known it would be co-opted by David Duke, the former leader of the Ku Klux Klan, and Richard Spencer, a white supremacist and neo-Nazi.

He said that some of his remarks are meant as outrage trolling to draw attention to his show or as over-the-top digs at political rivals aimed at getting under their skin.

“That’s kind of the whole thing,” he said. “We have figured out the game. The algorithm. We’ve hacked the conversation where if you say sensational things like we do, you get attention. I don’t want it to be like that. I wish I could ascend with ideas.”

He's only like that because he knows it pisses people off, more people pissed off = more people paying attention, more attention = more people looking into the movement.

Also, Nick says that Biden gave one good speech, and all of a sudden, he's a Biden supporter? That's some leftist-esque thinking right there. Vince Did 7-14 (talk) 10:56, November 7, 2021 (EST)

(A) I don't see the value of dedicating a lot of space to "so and so says so and so is racist and so and so says he's not"; (B) I don't see the value in trying to explain a joke; and (C) we are not Wikipedia. RobSFree Kyle! 11:23, November 7, 2021 (EST)
In a day where a bacon cheeseburger is racist, this is just a waste of time and space. RobSFree Kyle! 11:25, November 7, 2021 (EST)

Here, a rare interview of Nick being serious about what he thinks. Vince Did 7-14 (talk) 09:35, November 12, 2021 (EST)
It's just a bunch of crazy hypotheticals about what America is going to be like in the year 2070, without even laying the foundation as to who the gypsy fortune teller is who claims to know what America will be like in 2070. Looks like more public school b.s. Then there is an obsession with labels, like "liberal" without even knowing what he understands a "liberal" to be. Same with "paleoconservative" and "ethno-nationalist". It's just all naive trash, as is to be expected from a tweenty-something victim of a public school education. What is the relevance in this article? RobSFree Kyle! 14:00, November 12, 2021 (EST)
And since we are speaking in hypotheticals, did Fuentas or whoever his alleged source is for his views on America's demographic makeup in the year 2070 is, consider that if the CCP sent a large portion of its 30 million excesses males (as a result of selective abotion) of military age as an occupying force to America sometime between now and 2070, would that altar the underlying premise? Likely not. Or the devastation of certain bioweapons targeting specific ethnic groups? Etc.
If anything, we could place Fuentas in the same camp as Greta Thunberg and AOC who preach apocalyptical premonitions based on questionable premises and experts, only in his case there is some question whether he even conmsiders his futuristic premonitions either "good" or "bad". This article had at least one bold claim that was uncited. I deleted it. Is the article a mess?

For example, there is no citation demonstrating the Robert Spencer is a Joe Biden operative.

I skimmed the article and at first glance it appears to represent him correctly. I don't know much about Mr. Fuentes. I blew him off after it appeared he was anti-Semitic and a racist. Conservative (talk) 01:22, November 7, 2021 (EDT)

RICHARD Spencer, not Robert Spencer. But yeah, it's not a very accurate article. My version was way less biased and way more informative imo.Vince Did 7-14 (talk) 10:56, November 7, 2021 (EST)
Yup, your version (or even Mr. Nationalist's version from late December 2020) was much fairer and better. It's a shame they've protected the current version so we can't edit it. Biden Supporters? Seriously? ---BernieandTrumpFan (talk) 22:04, November 12, 2021 (EST)

Sorry

We're not going with the narrative that social conservativism = racism. Sorry. It's going out.

Editors need to decide to stick with the narrative that a bag of potato chips is racist and take out the reference to social conservativism, or leave the social conservatism reference in and take out the holocaust denial stuff. RobSLet's Go Brandon! 12:15, November 25, 2021 (EST)

As of right now, both are going out and editors can decide here. One solution: call him a charlatan and leave off the other labels. RobSLet's Go Brandon! 12:17, November 25, 2021 (EST)

OK, I've cleaned it up somewhat, leaving a lot of the racist stuff in. RobSLet's Go Brandon! 12:26, November 25, 2021 (EST)

We should use a different picture

The screenshot we have as his picture isn't very good. Could we use a picture like this or this? I personally really like this one. Vince Did 7-14 Christ Is King! 12:18, July 2, 2022 (EDT)

BTW, Liberaltears tells me he's not happy with what you've done with the page. I told him to come back and fix it, but he's more happy with trolling Rationalwiki & Wikipedia right now. RobSZ+ 16:23, July 2, 2022 (EDT)

Your preferred third picture I would classify as anti-Catholicism. So that's out. I haven't looked at the other two yet. RobSZ+ 20:01, July 2, 2022 (EDT)
A Catholic holding a Crucifix, praising God, is anti-Catholicism? Are you serious?! Vince Did 7-14 Christ Is King! 15:38, July 7, 2022 (EDT)
No. I think using it here implies Catholics are bigots. It should be enough to trash Fuentas, and not imply his spiritual background is related to his unhinged ideology. That crosses a line. RobSZ+ 15:44, July 7, 2022 (EDT)
Here's the problem: you structured the page as an attack page; now you have to keep it within the confines of Nick Fuentas and his words. You can't bring in tangentially related material to pile on. RobSZ+ 15:51, July 7, 2022 (EDT)
IOWs, if you want to pretend at objectivity, stick to Fuentas, and leave the Catholic religion alone. RobSZ+ 15:55, July 7, 2022 (EDT)
Look at the photograph; the focus is on the crucifix, not Fuentas. (While I would identify it as hate propaganda, it may be effective on others less knowledgeable or experienced. Some of the most obvious and amateurish hate propaganda like this actually can be quite effective.) RobSZ+ 16:05, July 7, 2022 (EDT)

Communism Template

Why is the Communism Template on this page? He's not an atheist, for example. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 10:57, July 13, 2024 (EDT)

We need some balance here. According to the text, the guy is a commie, nazi, anti-semite, traditional Roman Catholic and all-around nutcase. The communist label here apparently is just being used as a pejorative, making anyone who takes it seriously a nazisymp or fascist, which is also just another label tossed at Fuentas.
A word on the Communism Template: It's become too big and bulky, and probably needs to be divided up into two or three new templates. Perhaps historic communism, contemporary communism, and Liberation theology (given Conservapedia has 1,900 articles claiming all communists are atheists, etc). RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 12:03, July 13, 2024 (EDT)
Oh, wait till you find out just how ultramontanist-Catholic "atheistic" Communism is. —LT Rev. 22:13 Sunday, 21:39, July 13, 2024 (EDT)
I like that. You apparently let the original author's anger you've been reading permeate and seep through to your subconscious.
