Question: The "not one inch" controversy between Russia/US/West at least partially involves promises made to the former Soviet Union in 1990 discussions regarding German reunification. - This should be noted in the current Ukraine crisis; the destruction of Ukrainian manpower by its cooperation with NATO makes Ukrainian manpower less of a threat to NATO as it is re-incorporated into the Ruski Mir (Ukraine's standing army in 2022 was larger than France, Germany, and the UK combined). Everyone knows Ukraine never had a prayer against Russia, and this should be an object lesson for the Germans and the rest of European NATO powers about the quality, and ability, of American leadership.
