There is a small number of conservative colleges in the United States. Many feature lower tuition, non-tenured faculty, emphasis on merit, and conservative student bodies. Examples include:
- Grove City College - 600 students per grade
- Liberty University
- Patrick Henry College
- Brigham Young University
- Thomas Aquinas College
- Christendom College - 100 students per grade
- Franciscan University at Steubenville
- Benedictine College
- King's College in New York City
- United States Coast Guard Academy
- University of Dallas
- Ave Maria University - increased to 300 students per grade
- Bob Jones University
- Hillsdale College
- Newberry College - welcomes homeschoolers on its website and features conservative values
The Princeton Review also lists these colleges as conservative,[1] but there are reasons to doubt that claim:
- Hampden-Sydney College (Hampden-Sydney, Virginia)
- College of the Ozarks (Point Lookout, Missouri)
- Wheaton College (Wheaton, Illinois)
- Claremont McKenna College (Claremont, California)
