The Stop Bernie movement is the effort by the Democratic National Committee to thwart the nomination of Sen. Bernie Sanders in the 2020 presidential election.
As the Stop Bernie movement gathered momentum, two days before Super Tuesday voting Mayor Pete Buttigieg cut a deal with the DNC powers that be and quit. C-BS 60 Minutes headlined Mike Bloomberg the same evening in the DNC's efforts to consolidate Trump-haters apart from the more violent Sanders' base. Sen. Amy Klobuchar was out one day before the voting after Black Lives Matter stormed the podium at a speaking event in her home state of Minnesota.[2]
