Kyrsten Lea Sinema (born July 12, 1976) is an independent Senator from the state of Arizona and a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives. She was elected as a Democrat in 2018 and repudiated party affiliation in December 2022 upon the controversial certification of Arizona secretary of state Katie Hobbs as governor in what many, if not most, people believe to be a stolen election by the Arizona Democrats of Maricopa county. Sinema is up for reelection on 2024.

Sinema has taken conservative populist stances on multiple important issues, including opposing a Leftist attempt to override state voting rules through a Dem proposal to bypass the Senate filibuster,[2] and voting against a Leftist provision to include a federal minimum wage hike to $15/hr within a COVID-19 relief package in 2021[3] using a dramatic "thumbs-down"[4] to imitate John McCain's vote in 2017 against repealing and replacing Obamacare.[5] She received praise from some conservatives,[6] but predictable leftist outrage.[7] She very narrowly defeated her opponent in the general congressional election (AZ 9th district) in November 2012 (on which she later won reelection),[8] and when she won her seat in the U.S. Senate in 2018.[9] Perhaps fed up with how Dems have been ruining the U.S., Sinema left the Democrat Party on December 9, 2022.

Since 2021, Sinema along with Joe Manchin, have been best known for being the two Democrat senators who have voted to keep the U.S. Senate's filibuster intact despite several threats from their own party.[10]

Sinema is the author of a 2009 book entailed, Unite and Conquer: How To Build Coalitions That Win And Last.

Controversies

In 2003 Sinema summoned Code Pink and a coven of witches called Pagan Cluster to an anti-war rally.[11] Sinema said at the time she didn't care if an American joined the Taliban.[12] When questioned whether she regretted her original comments at an interview in 2018, she refused to answer directly, and instead made excuses.[13]

In 2010, Sinema called her home state Arizona “the meth lab of democracy”.[14]

In an interview in 2006, Sinema referred to stay-at-home women who are "leeching off their husbands or boyfriends, and just cashing the checks [as] some sort of feminism."[15]

CNN and far left bullying tactics

In Oct 2021, as far left [16] were following and obsessively harassing Sinema in bathroom, CNN was actually 'for' it. CNN's Kirsten Powers seemed endorsing it.[17] And CNN's contributor (former Republican) Ana Navarro, suggested Kyrsten Sinema deserved being harassed in bathroom.[18]
