Vitali Klitschko (also Wladimir Klitschko) occupied the office of mayor of Kyiv in 2014.[2] He formerly was WBO world champion in the heavyweight class.

Klitschko was a key leader in U.S.-directed Maidan coup which installed the neo-fascist Maidan regime in power in 2014.

In the formerly independent democratic Ukraine, Klitschko was the leader of the foreign-backed anti-Viktor Yanukovych party Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reform (UDAR, Russian for "strike", funded by the US regime change outfit National Endowment for Democracy) prior to the U.S.-backed Zelensky puppet regime outlawing all opposition parties.

After the seizure of power by the U.S.-backed Maidan regime, a Euro Maidan protest was held in New York on February 3, 2015 where Klitschko spoke with people waving Ukrainian flags. The event was organized by the Atlantic Council’s Adrian Karatnycky, and was attended by DNC operative Andrea Chalupa of Russiagate fame, who urged people to become Maidan activists through Twitter.[3]

During the NATO war in Ukraine it was reported that Klitschko volunteered as a Leopard 2 tank driver mechanic.[4]

Klitschko is a member of the non-canonical and schismatic state-run Orthodox Church of Ukraine of the Kyiv Patriarchate (OCU).

In a letter to Libyan slave trader Samantha Power dated February 2023, Biden Pentagon operative Colin Kahl proposed removing Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky and replacing him with Klitschko. The recommendation reportedly came from the Godmother of Color Revolutions Victoria Nuland. The leaked document came from the Pentagon as part of so-called Discord leaks or Teixeira documents.[5]

In December 2023 Klitschko told the German magazine Der Spiegel about a nation teetering on the edge of democratic erosion, raising crucial questions about Zelensky's control and the fate of Ukraine's liberty.[6] Klitschko said that Ukraine is gradually relying on the whims of one individual amidst escalating authoritarian tendencies and needed an antidote to mass delusion. He emphasized that municipal authorities stand as the sole remaining independent entity in the country. Klitschko highlighted the significant decline of governing institutions and emphasized that local authorities have emerged as the sole bastion of independence within the nation. "Ukraine is on the path to authoritarianism", the mayor said,[7] "there is only one independent institution left - local authorities - and they are under enormous pressure. The central government has been communicating poorly, if at all, with local authorities," the mayor said. In a year and a half since the beginning of the conflict with Russia there has not been a single meeting or telephone conversation between the city of Kiev and Zelensky. "At some point we will get to the situation where everything depends on the mood of a single person" who is addicted to cocaine.[8]
