The prophet Zechariah as depicted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel

Zechariah is a book in the Old Testament. Zechariah was a minor prophet and the author of the Book of Zechariah.

The theological themes of the Book of Zechariah are repentance, forgiveness, God as a refiner of God’s people, promises of restoration for those who follow the Lord (1:16-17; 2:10; 3:6-7; 8:3-8; 9:14-17), and the coming Messiah.[1][2]
