===Generally===
‘’’Western Easter ‘’’is calculated as the first Sunday using the first full moon after the vernal equinox (set as March 21). This means Easter can fall anywhere between March 22 and April 25 each year.
‘’’Orthodox Easter’’’ is calculated based on the [[Julian calendar]], using the first full moon after the vernal equinox (set as March 21 on Julian, which is April 3 until 2100AD). ‘’’Also, it must always fall after the Jewish Passover, ’’’ aligning with the belief that Jesus was crucified after Passover, and it can occur between April 4 and May 8.
Passover can occur on the Gregorian calendar between March 26 and April 25. The specific date varies each year as it begins on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Nisan, which is determined by the lunar calendar.
