  • You lost the vote before fair and square.
  • It's not decided by vote, and it can be nominated a second time.
  • The title of this Essay is unjust and promotes hate and bigotry against 150 million Russian people.
  • Even Wikipedia has enough sense not to jeopardize their reputation promoting xenophobic content. They do have a Mainspace article entitled, War crimes in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, while not pointing a finger at any one specific party in its title.
No you are not going to waste people's time by having vote after vote. The last vote was recent. Stop wasting people's time. If you want people to respect your time, you have to reciprocate. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Conservative (talk)
No one has answered the question yet (which I asked on October 3, 2023, four days before the Oct 7 massacre): Would we allow a mainspace article or Essay entitled: Israeli war crimes in Gaza? RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 15:54, September 22, 2024 (EDT)

User:Conservative: I did not lose the vote. It's not a popularity contest. It's a policy discussion.

Does every essay have to have allegedly in front of it? How about Essay: Allegedly April 2022 was a pivotal moment in the future of global politics for decades to come. Conservative (talk) 04:37, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
Was that a crime? RobSGive Peace a Chance! 06:55, October 3, 2023 (EDT)

Vote (yet again!)

  • This is a time wasting revote. There needn't be another vote. We already voted on this matter.Personal remark removed Conservative (talk) 07:46, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
  • This is a time wasting revote. A certain someone who "revived" this AFD is a sore loser, period. —LT Rev. 22:13 Tuesday, 08:22, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
  • Settled Matter, we already voted, Keep. It's a settled matter imo. We already voted to keep. It provides important data for a reader to keep in mind while arriving at a final informed decision for themselves. NishantXavierFor Christ the King 08:52, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
  • No revote / keep article: Russian troops have committed war crimes in Ukraine. This includes torture, rape & outright murder of both civilians and POWs in their custody. The evidence is unequivocal, with many individual soldiers and their units already identified for indictment. Tribunals will be held and extraditing those accused / found guilty in absentia will form a key part of any eventual normalisation of relations with Russia (cf. Milošević, Mladić & Karadžić re. war crimes in Bosnia). ConwayIII (talk) 12:50, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
  • What evidence, where is it, and who's collecting it? This Essay only promotes xenophobia citing documented fake news sources. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 13:06, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
My man, your boys have such a taste for war criming they've even taken to torturing & murdering their own on a reasonably regular basis. I can tolerate / mock the crazy talk about nonexistent Donbas "cauldrons" or your periodic guff re. the Poles being poised to invade western Ukraine, etc. On this particular issue, however, I really don't have it in me to engage fully with the Personal remark removed I'm content to wait & see if Andy has the minerals to properly clip your wings and, if that ever happens, I'll nuke your fan fiction from orbit. ConwayIII (talk) 13:54, October 3, 2023 (EDT)

Why even vote in the first place? Essays are essays. End of story. Like I said yesterday, those are allowed to carry controversial views. --DavidB4 (TALK) 20:33, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
Okay, I understand that point. At what point do we say, "No, you can't" when somebody wants to publish "Essay:Police kill Blacks" "Essay:Ns like watermelon" "Essay:Js have big noses"? RobSGive Peace a Chance! 20:56, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
Now there's two ways we can go here: (1) Wait til something happens and another big scandal blows up, and the site comes into criticism again (like "Senate Hit List" a few years back); or (2) have editors go on record that, yes, there should be established community standards that people are agreeable to, and questions can be resolved in a civil manner.
As to voting: Conservapedia has never had a majority rule rule, neither has it ever even had a discussion on "how many does it take to have a consensus". Instead, CP has always been a mob of Lone Wolves and anarchists, each one claiming to adhere to their own brand of conservatism, which means I'm right and your wrong and you can't tell me what to do. The result is a snake pit of animosity between users, that no sane person in their right mind who signs up would want to get involved with.
The vote is to establish a consensus: do we have any standards at all, or is the consensus view that conservativism means chaos, and anyone can publish whatever garbage they want to? RobSGive Peace a Chance! 21:39, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
"and anyone can publish whatever garbage they want to?" RobSmith, last year you allowed trolls to insert white supremacist propaganda into the mainspace, and even when I clearly explained to you why it was racist, you tried at least once to restore their edits as if they were qualified "researchers." I strongly question your judgment on this matter. —LT Rev. 22:13 Wednesday, 21:55, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
  • Keep article. Aren't we supposed to be a pro-American, Christian-oriented site? At least that's what I signed up for.PeterKa (talk) 00:48, October 4, 2023 (EDT)
  • Keep article. The consensus view appears to be that criticising actions – even actions of conservatives – is a good thing for Conservapedia. If we don't point out mistakes made by conservatives, conservatives will never improve. And yes, Russians have committed war crimes. Just one example from Breitbart: [1]. MayGodBless (talk) 11:05, October 4, 2023 (EDT)
  • Keep article. An essay is just that, an essay. Leave it alone. Is this another case of the Left's strategy to use the systems of justice as the punishment (just as they are doing with Trump, J6 protestors, etc.)? --DavidB4 (TALK) 15:10, October 4, 2023 (EDT)
  • Keep article. Daniel1212 12:04, October 9, 2023 (EDT)

  • Keep article, with conditions. In a war as brutal as this one, there is zero doubt that Russia and its allies will be committing war crimes, just as there is zero doubt that Ukriane and its allies will be committing war crimes. I have earlier opined that the central conflict bears a large resemblance to that which led up to the violent phase of the Indian Partition, and it is well documented that both sides committed horrific atrocities against each other in that war. That being said, this article ought to co-exist with an essay listing Ukrainian war crimes. Furthermore, neither this essay nor its proposed counterpart should be allowed to make blanket statements about Russia, Ukraine, or their respective societies, lest they be interpreted as endorsements of genocide. Any disputes of fact should be mediated by third parties, most notably Andy. Lastly, because this war is of such historical importance and Conservative is a veteran editor with years upon years of substantial contributions to this wiki, this essay, along with its proposed counterpart, should be one day be preserved as an artifact demonstrating how, in real time, conservatives and populists viewed the war and the overarching crises which made it possible.--Geopolitician (talk) 23:34, October 8, 2023 (EDT)
Furthermore, User:Conservative has already denied the historical importance of the war. See his nonsensical screed at Essay: The SPECIFIC MONTH OF APRIL 2022 was not a pivotal point in geopolitics that will affect geopolitics for 30 years. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 23:52, October 8, 2023 (EDT)
No RobSmith. It is the SPECIFIC MONTH OF APRIL 2020 that is the question. I built a very solid case and you didn't. Your Hail Mary pass of using a certain picture for your counter essay was rather lame as explained here: File talk:The war in Ukraine has become a turning point in the history of civilization.PNG. I suggest rereading my essay at: Essay: The SPECIFIC MONTH OF APRIL 2022 was not a pivotal point in geopolitics that will affect geopolitics for 30 years. Conservative (talk) 00:09, October 9, 2023 (EDT)
Already done. I have asked RobSmith to create a counter essay. He hasn't done it. Nor has he created an essay like Geopolitician suggests like Essay: Ukrainian war crimes in Ukraine. Conservative (talk) 00:10, October 9, 2023 (EDT)
I don't have to prove anything. And I am sure your Russia cheerleading articles at CP already cover some Ukrainian war crimes so it would be redundant. Conservative (talk) 00:14, October 9, 2023 (EDT)

And your multiple whines that I am Russophobic are rather lame - especially since I have Russian music that I listen to HERE and HERE and HERE. Conservative (talk) 00:18, October 9, 2023 (EDT)

Well your nazi buddies gave weapons to Hamas. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 00:35, October 9, 2023 (EDT)
Write an essay or article if you think the Ukrainians gave arms to Hamas and can support it with good evidence/arguments. Here you go: Ukrainian arms sales to Hamas or Essay: Ukrainian arms sales to Hamas. Conservative (talk) 00:48, October 9, 2023 (EDT)
The evidence is plastered all over MPR in half dozen articles already. You know, as a geopolitical analyst, you don't seem much up to speed on what's happening on the planet. Or to even care much. You haven't got your MSM/neocon/Soros/Biden regime talking points yet. I saw the same thing in January 2020 when you fell for CCP talking points wholesale, and April 2022 when you swallowed the Nazi agitprop. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 01:04, October 9, 2023 (EDT)
So, while you're busy cutting off limbs with a hack saw and writing about Russia's falling oil profits, you seem to be missing points like this:
"most obvious is it would take all U.S. attention away from Ukraine, forcing them to focus on combating Iran and its regional powers, which would allow Russia to swiftly finish off an abandoned Ukraine.
"Secondly, and in aid to the first above, any conflict of this sort would send oil prices through the roof, which are already being estimated to go to $150 per barrel in the future. This would lead to Russia’s already-exorbitant fossil fuel profits to shoot through the roof, not only stabilizing its own economy but helping to finance the Ukraine war.
"China of course could benefit in a similar way in having the U.S.’s attention diverted elsewhere, giving China breathing room to continue building up and consolidating its own regional strength while also depleting the U.S. and thus preventing it from ever funding/supplying Taiwan to substantial degrees.
C'mon, Mr. Expert. You missed your shot in April 2022 and wasted a year and a half trolling with nonsense. Get in on the ground floor this time. Let's see Essay:Hamas war crimes in Israel, even though Hamas isn't party to any conventions that would make them war crimes. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 01:17, October 9, 2023 (EDT)

And since the US is going to remain the leading power for the foreseeable future, let's see it act now to liberate Crimea, defeat Russia, defend Taiwan and save Israel. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 02:29, October 9, 2023 (EDT)

Stuff added later

Newsmax on Russian war crimes:

Oh, What about the Ukrainian justice system's prosecution of Gonzalo Lira for exercising free speech? Has Newsmax reported on that? RobSGive Peace a Chance! 14:27, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
Whataboutism. MayGodBless (talk) 11:05, October 4, 2023 (EDT)

Just added to the article:

"Washington Examiner on Russia's "adoption" of Ukrainian children"

"Breitbart: Russian charged with war crimes: Ukrainian kids can go home"

"Russia dishonored by army’s Ukraine war crimes, Washington Times, 2022" Conservative (talk) 14:35, October 3, 2023 (EDT)

(ec) So what do we have so far: Essay:Western media reporting on alleged Russian war crimes; alternatively, we can act like idiot liberals who believe any line of garbage in print. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 14:39, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
If you were sitting on a jury hearing these accusations, the first question asked is "Have seen or heard any news reporting about this incident?"; but since presumption of innocence and a fair trial are out the window as conservative values according to a CP Admin and Essay author, why not pile on propaganda and bigotry? That's the logic here. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 14:43, October 3, 2023 (EDT)
