Major achievements

• Successfully nominating Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as successfully confirming a record number of lower court judges; the 200th nominated judge was confirmed by the United States Senate in late June 2020, officially filling every appeals court seats with no vacancies left (see Donald Trump achievements: The courts).

• Strongly shifting U.S. policy in a pro-life direction, as seen in various actions including reinstating the Mexico City Policy, among many other examples (see Donald Trump achievements: Abortion).

• Protecting religious freedom for Christians and rejecting the Obama Administration's radical social policies (see Donald Trump achievements: Religious liberty and LGBT).

• Taking border control seriously and taking numerous tough actions to combat illegal immigration and reduce overall immigration levels, including restricting asylum, getting Latin American countries to reduce illegal immigration, and obtaining border wall money without relying on a liberal Congress (see Donald Trump achievements: Immigration and border security).

• Enacting tax cuts in 2017.

• Successfully passing several major reforms of the Department of Veterans Affairs (see Donald Trump achievements: Veterans).

• Recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital and moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem shortly thereafter, actions previous administrations failed to do despite promising.

• Getting tough on trade by taking the issue seriously and taking actions previous administrations refused to take, such as enacting large tariffs, pulling out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and designating China a currency manipulator (see Donald Trump achievements: Trade policy).

• Repealing a record number of regulations, including through the Congressional Review Act (see Donald Trump achievements: Deregulation and government size).

• Challenging the liberal global establishment and reasserting American sovereignty through actions such as withdrawing from the Paris climate agreement, the Iran nuclear deal, the United Nations Human Rights Council, and the UN's Global Compact on Migration, as well as rejecting the G7's joint statement in 2018 and challenging the rise of China. Additionally, making very strong speeches promoting conservative and nationalist values at the UN General Assembly, and very notably, announcing the de-funding of, and later withdrawal from the World Health Organization (see Donald Trump achievements: Foreign policy).

• Promoting American energy independence and energy dominance, thus making the U.S. economy more secure (see Donald Trump achievements: Energy and environmental policy).

• Signing an executive order to exclude illegal aliens from being counted in the U.S. census.
