Senate confirmations, 2020

Given President Trump's groundbreaking record in judge nominations who were confirmed, the far-left Democrat senator Kamala Harris pushed for a halt on Trump's judicial nominees in the midst of the impeachment coup attempt in January 2020.[1]

  • February 5, 2020—Right after the impeachment coup had effectively been extinguished following the acquittal of Donald Trump, the McConnell led-U.S. Senate confirmed five more Trump-nominated judges into federal courts.[2]

Other achievements, 2020

  • April 10, 2020—A federal appeals court was able to reinstate effectively (despite a previous blockade from a lower court) a statewide ban on most abortions in Texas as a combative measure to the coronavirus outbreak.[3]
