Senate confirmations, 2020

Given President Trump's groundbreaking record in judge nominations who were confirmed, the far-left Democrat senator Kamala Harris pushed for a halt on Trump's judicial nominees in the midst of the impeachment coup attempt in January 2020.

• February 5, 2020—Right after the impeachment coup had effectively been extinguished following the acquittal of Donald Trump, the McConnell led-U.S. Senate confirmed five more Trump-nominated judges into federal courts.

Other achievements, 2020

• April 10, 2020—A federal appeals court was able to reinstate effectively (despite a previous blockade from a lower court) a statewide ban on most abortions in Texas as a combative measure to the coronavirus outbreak.

Setbacks, 2020

• March 30, 2020—Three federal judges, including a George W. Bush-appointed U.S. district judge, blocked the states of Alabama and Ohio from banning abortions as a responsive measure to the coronavirus outbreak.

• April 13, 2020—A Trump-appointed district judge in the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals blocked Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt's executive order to ban abortions statewide as a response to the coronavirus.

• April 14, 2020—A district judge appointed by Barack Hussein Obama blocked Arkansas from enforcing a statewide abortion ban as part of its response to the coronavirus.

• April 17, 2020—A U.S. federal district judge blocked the state of Tennessee from enacting abortion restrictions amidst the coronavirus outbreak.
