Assassination attempts on Trump

The Assassination attempt on President Donald Trump occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024, by a shooter named Thomas Matthew Crooks (not to be confused with the Thomas Crooks who donated to the democratic party when the shooter was still a minor). President Donald J. Trump was on stage at MAGA rally while campaigning for the 2024 Presidential election, and only minutes into his speech when the shooting began.

The shooter fired perhaps as many as 8 shots before being killed by authorities. Trump was injured by a bullet penetrating his right ear, but not his skull. An attendee died and two were seriously injured. Trump himself dropped down as he heard many bullets and was wounded by one, and then was quickly shielded by the Secret Service. As Trump stood up, he was then shielded by agents.

Trump strongly called out to all: 'fight' while pumping his fist several times. The crowd chanted: 'USA!'

By only an inch in the path of the bullet that pierced his ear did Trump survive, by the grace of God.

Trump's defiant reaction to the shooting became instantly iconic.

Trump's assassination attempt was condemned by current and former political figures, left and right, the world over. The attack marks the first time a sitting or former US president was injured in an unsuccessful assassination attempt since Ronald Regan was shot in March 1981, over 43 years prior. After Reagan, Trump is the seventh US president to be subject to a successful or unsuccessful assassination attempt, the others being the failed attempt on Theodore Roosevelt, and the succeeded attempts on Abraham Lincoln, James A. Garfield, William McKinley and John F. Kennedy.

Democrats attempt to remove Secret Service protection

In April 2024 Democrats introduced a bill in Congress to remove Secret Service protection from President Donald Trump. The bill's chief sponsor was Rep. Bennie Thompson who chaired the J6 witch hunt. Thompson has been under investigation by the House for destroying the J6 panel's files.

Incitement leading to crime

The attempt came after years and moreso in recent weeks, the left and liberal media has been vilifying President Trump as being supposedly a "danger to democracy." In 2023 Tucker Carlson commented on the all-pervasive Democrat hate in liberal media: "We are speeding towards assassination, obviously. No one will say that, but I don’t know how you can’t reach this conclusion." A hot mic caught Journos joking about Trump being assassinated while attending a lawfare hearing in Washington, D.C. in January 2024.

To everyone's surprise, Biden refused to step aside after a disastrous debate performance with President Trump on June 27, 2024. Biden was roundly criticized by members of his own party and the liberal media. Donors began to bail, and Democrat members pf Congress feared being dragged down with him. Biden dug in, as an anxious party awaited his next move.

On July 2, 2024 Nancy Pelosi appeared on MSNBC with Andrea Mitchell;

ANDREA MITCHELL: At this point, there's no one who knows the donor community better than you. You are a legendary fundraiser. There's no one who knows the convention rules better than you. I have to ask you, what are you hearing from the large network of people about whether [Biden] is up to it? NANCY PELOSI: I hear mixed. Some people are saying because Donald Trump is such an authoritarian and autocrat, we have to win this election. This is not a normal election where you want to win, if you don't, you cooperate and do the best you can for the country and hope to win the next time. This is something that is undermining our democracy. He must be stopped. He cannot be president!

On July 7, 2024 some leftists called him a "Hitler."

5 days before the shooting Biden told donors in a conference call, "We’re done talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye."

The shooting

Suspected shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks

The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old male from the Bethel Park, PA, a nursing-home employee, was bear-crawling up the roof of an elevated structure a few hundred metres away outside the venue. Crooks had explosive devices in his car parked near the rally, showing he had an elaborated plan.

Crooks was socially awkward with no political profile, according to his classmates;

"According to the New York Times, federal campaign-finance records show" a Thomas Crooks (no middle name) "donated $15 to the Progressive Turnout Project, a liberal voter turnout group, through the Democratic donation platform ActBlue in January 2021." Whether or not this this is the same Thomas Crooks remains to be seen.

Hours before the incident, the aforementioned progressive TurnoutPAC tweeted about Trump supposedly "destroying Democracy."

Quote: It's simple people: Donald Trump is a threat to our democracy and another four years of him would be detrimental to our country. The tweet was still left even after the assassination.

President Trump's statement -- soon after -- on TruthSocial was:

I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Later, Trump sent out an email: 'I will Never Surrender!'

The following day, Donald Trump vowed to carry on with the GOP convention.

Former US Attorney General Bill Barr tweeted:

The Democrats have to stop their grossly irresponsible talk about Trump being an existential threat to democracy - he is not.”

Commentators brought up Democrats' reaction to Antifa 2020 violence. As well as violence at the anti-Israel riots (Oct 7 War) and most of the charges at Columbia University rioters dropped by Alvin Bragg, an elected Democrat; the reaction to the (Genocidal) "From the river to the sea."
