Wesley Parish Hunt (born c. 1981) is a United States Army veteran and African-American conservative Republican who lost his bid in 2020 to unseat the left-wing Democrat U.S. Representative Lizzie Fletcher in the 7th congressional district.
2020 U.S. House election in Texas’ 7th district
Hunt announced in April 2019 that Hunt he was running for the United States House of Representatives to unseat Elizabeth Pannill Fletcher.[1] His bid is endorsed by U.S. Senator Tom Cotton and then U.S. President Donald Trump.[2][3] The Washington Free Beacon noted Hunt to be a "rising GOP star".[4]

In 2022, Hunt as the Republican nominee will contest the new 38th congressional district seat, based in suburbs west of Houston, including Katy.
