| + | You are fooling yourself. In 2027, the EU will reluctantly keep funding Ukraine while also continuing to build up their militaries. Germany is a great example of a country that is taking these courses of actions. The are lots of signs that the Europeans will do so based on their past recent actions (February 2026: The European Union has approved a massive €90 billion loan that strengthens Ukraine while tightening the vise on Vladimir Putin [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrW-bZhGHmI]). | + | RobSmith, you're treating a temporary American sanctions waiver as though it determines the outcome of the entire Russo-Ukrainian war. But Europe has its own strategic interests, financing mechanisms, and military expansion plans. Germany and other European governments can continue supporting Ukraine even when Washington changes course. | ||
| + | |||
| + | The relevant question is whether European financial and military assistance, combined with Ukraine's own capabilities, will be sufficient to sustain the war effort. A temporary Russian diesel revenue increase does not answer that question, nor does it establish that Ukraine will collapse by April 2027. | ||
| + | |||
| + | If you believe Ukraine will not survive the winter, identify the specific military, financial, and political developments that make that outcome likely and provide excellent evidence. Predictions require evidence, not confidence. | ||
| + | |||
| + | With that being said, whatever happens in Ukraine, [[Essay: The United States will be the leading power in the world for the foreseeable future|the USA will be the leading power for the foreseeable future]]. | + | It is a matter of historical record that the Russians have brittle governance and I cite the following: The Russian Revolution of 1905, The February Revolution of 1917, The October Revolution of 1917 and the 1993 Russian constitutional crisis. On top of this, there was recently Prigozhin’s Armed Rebellion. Authoritarian regimes are "strong but brittle" as one historian put it. Even the Russians themselves know this. Russians have pulled billions of dollars and rubles from the country's banking system in a persistent "slow-motion" bank run, driven by escalating war costs, intensifying Ukrainian drone strikes, and growing anxiety that the Kremlin could freeze or seize private deposits.[https://www.city-journal.org/article/no-ordinary-panic] | ||

| + | Next, all the material resources in the world are insufficient if you are not tapping them due to incompetence/corruption in government and social dysfunction (Russia is commonly ranked #1 or #2 in divorce statistics and it ranks #2 in alcoholism). Deny that the USA's national GNP, per capita GNP and productivity rate is not head and shoulders above Russia and lose all credibility. There are reasons why people are flocking to the USA and leaving Russia. There are 30 million people who are part of the Russian diaspora. | ||

This Essay is absolute deceptive idiocy. Russia and Saudi Arabia are net exporters of oil, the US barely produces 50% of its own domestic consumption. And it still relies heavily on oil export countries. RobSZelensky didn't kill himself 09:09, February 5, 2024 (EST)
Comparing net exporters to net importers is an apples and oranges argument.

- "U.S. crude production is headed for a record 13.8 million bpd in 2026, yet the EIA expects distillate stocks to fall below 100 million barrels and stay under the five-year range through much of 2027.
- Refiners canât simply make more diesel. Distillate is about 30% of U.S. refinery yield, utilization averaged roughly 96% last quarter, and operable capacity fell about 250,000 bpd from a year earlier."

- It clarifies the fact you don't know that diesel comes from crude oil distillates.
- This even relates to the fact that you don't understand the guns or butter argument. Diesel and military jet fuel come from the same limited supply of crude oil middle distillates. Military jet fuel obviously has priority. Trump tried to have guns & butter when he started the Iran war - jet fuel and diesel. Only to later reveal himself as foreign agent of Russia, funneling $5 billion to the evil Russian war machine so it can continue its unjust war of aggression. - By the way, Trump and Putin just made a deal: President Donald Trump announced a deal with Vladimir Putin where Russia will supply over 4 million tons of diesel to the global market. In tandem, the U.S. Treasury Department temporarily waived sanctions on Russian diesel through April 2027 to lower skyrocketing fuel prices.

The Power of U.S. Oil Production
"A foundational pillar of Americaâs relative strength over the last five years is its unprecedented energy revolution. The U.S. has firmly cemented its position as the largest oil producer in global history.
⢠Record-Breaking Output: According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), U.S. crude oil production is on track to average a record 13.8 million barrels per day (b/d) in 2026, surpassing the previous historic record of 13.7 million b/d set in 2025.
⢠Geopolitical Insulation: This massive outputâdriven primarily by fracking and efficiency gains in the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexicoâmeans the U.S. produces roughly 18.4% of the worldâs total oil supply.
⢠The Geopolitical Offset: While the U.S. is still tethered to global market prices because it is also the world's largest consumer, its massive supply acts as a vital geopolitical buffer. When conflicts in the Middle East threaten global energy hubs, or when the West cuts off Russian energy exports, surging U.S. oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports step in to stabilize allied economies (particularly in Europe), weakening the ability of OPEC, Russia, or Iran to use energy as an economic weapon."[2]
I trust this further clarifies matters. Conservative (talk) 14:19, October 10, 2026 (EDT)

- Answer the dang question:
Why then is the US spending $5 Billion to support the Russian war machine?
- Using big font doesn't make the question less crazier. The US is temporarily spending money for Russian diesel because temperarily it is in short supply [sic] (See Essay: The USA is outproducing Russia and Saudi Arabia in oil production. The best is yet to come). Trump puts US interests ahead of Ukrainian interests. But the rest of the tougher sanctions on Russia signed by Trump are still in effect. The European Union (EU) is collectively one of the largest and most important trading partners of the United States.
- With that being said, the Russo-Ukraine War is bad for Russia economically and demographically. It is a war of attrition boondoggle and quagmire. Conservative (talk) 11:31, October 11, 2026 (EDT)
- OK, let me get this straight: The USA is in short supply of diesel because of Trump's unpopular war against Iran (despite the fact the USA is outproducing Russia and Saudi Arabia in oil production. The best is yet to come); waiving the Lindsay Graham Sanctions Bill that imposes 100% tariffs on purchasers of Russian oil that Trump just signed comes at a time when Russia needs the cash and the Kyiv regime is flat on its back and may not survive the winter until April 2027 when Russian sanctions relief expire.
- The more you talk, the more you sound like James Carville. No wonder the GOP is getting crushed. Foghorn LeghornDo normal heterosexuals spend 20 yrs obsessing over gay bars, bathhouses and drag queens? 11:40, October 11, 2026 (EDT)
You are fooling yourself. In 2027, the EU will reluctantly keep funding Ukraine while also continuing to build up their militaries. Germany is a great example of a country that is taking these courses of actions. The are lots of signs that the Europeans will do so based on their past recent actions (February 2026: The European Union has approved a massive â¬90 billion loan that strengthens Ukraine while tightening the vise on Vladimir Putin [3]). They might confiscate the Russian frozen assets too. Conservative (talk) 12:00, October 11, 2026 (EDT)
- duh, the EU doesn't have the funds to "keep funding Ukraine". They had to loot Rusasian assets for â¬90 billion loan.
- See, this is why you are stupid. You keep speaking out on things you do not understand.
- "the EU will continue to build their militaries"
- The EU leadership is getting tossed out on its ear by the people that does not want war and militarism, Starmer, Merz, Macron, Sunak, Truss, and BoJo are gone or soon to be gone. Replaced by the AfD, Marine LePen and other conservatives.
- See, this is why you are stupid. You keep speaking out on things you do not understand.
- Foghorn LeghornDo normal heterosexuals spend 20 yrs obsessing over gay bars, bathhouses and drag queens? 12:12, October 11, 2026 (EDT)
RobSmith, you're treating a temporary American sanctions waiver as though it determines the outcome of the entire Russo-Ukrainian war. But Europe has its own strategic interests, financing mechanisms, and military expansion plans. Germany and other European governments can continue supporting Ukraine even when Washington changes course.
The relevant question is whether European financial and military assistance, combined with Ukraine's own capabilities, will be sufficient to sustain the war effort. A temporary Russian diesel revenue increase does not answer that question, nor does it establish that Ukraine will collapse by April 2027.
If you believe Ukraine will not survive the winter, identify the specific military, financial, and political developments that make that outcome likely and provide excellent evidence. Predictions require evidence, not confidence.
With that being said, whatever happens in Ukraine, the USA will be the leading power for the foreseeable future. Ukraine is not a major trading partner of the usa. And the usa still has two very large oceans on its West/East coasts and Canada/Mexico are unlikely to launch special military operations against the usa. Conservative (talk) 12:20, October 11, 2026 (EDT) Postscript: If Russia has such a powerful military, why has big Russia been bogged down in a war of attrition against little Ukraine for more than four years? Shouldn't a great military power have achieved its objectives by now? Conservative (talk) 12:27, October 11, 2026 (EDT)

- User:Conservative supports the economic theories of the incompetent pedophile John Maynard Keynes;

Why? As he personally told me on the phone and as an Andy Schlafly toady, "Andy doesn't think you are conservative."

- Well, given the 4 year of attritional warfare betwen big Russia and little Ukraine with little territory gained by Russia, I am guessing that the world (including me) will paying far less attention to Russia. And let's not forget Russia's demographic crisis which compounds matters.
- Plus, there is this matter: "Yes, OPEC's influence in the global oil market has diminished significantly in recent years due to high-profile departures, internal quota disagreements, and the rise of non-OPEC production."[4]

Iran's economy is experiencing a deep contraction and severe crisis driven by ongoing military conflict, international sanctions, and a naval blockade. Key Economic Indicators & Status: 1) Currency Collapse: The Iranian rial has plummeted to historic lows, trading at roughly 2 to 2.7 million rials per U.S. dollar. 2) GDP Contraction: According to quarterly data from the Statistical Center of Iran, GDP growth dropped sharply to -10.1% in the spring of 2026, marking the country's steepest contraction since 2018. Summary of response from Russia's Yandex AI Alice: "The influence of Russia on the average American's life is generally quite limited and indirect".

- No. Russia is a weak major power. Political scientist John Mearsheimer frequently describes Russia as a "declining great power" or explicitly as "the weakest of the three great powers" in the international system (behind the United States and China).[5]
- In the long-term, Russia cannot sustain great-power competition because its material base is too small and its institutions too brittle. Russia's GNP is now smaller than Italy's. Conservative (talk) 14:45, October 12, 2026 (EDT)

- Query: What is the richest country on earth in terms of natural resources?
- Answer: The richest countries in the world by natural resource value are led by Russia ($75 trillion), followed by the United States ($45 trillion), Saudi Arabia ($34 trillion), Canada ($33 trillion), and Iran ($27 trillion).
- See, this is what makes you stupid. You keep speaking out on things you do not understand.
- The power vacuum created by the decline of US hegemony is what leads to the rise in Great Power status of Russia & Iran. It was the Republicans, Baby Bush and two Republican-controlled Houses of Congress, that led to China's rise to Great Power status by granting them MFN and access to the American consumer market and America's decline as an industrial power.
- See, this is what makes you stupid. You keep speaking out on things you do not understand. NATO's loss in the NATO war against Russia restores Russia's Great Power status. Yes, Russia is the least populous of 3 tripolar countries. Any idiot can see that. But that doesn't make them "weak" or "declining in power". And there are now 5 Great Powers - China, the US, India, Russia, and Iran.

- Yes, I was all for granting China MFN back in 2002 as a way of breaking the power and control the incompetent pedophile John Maynard Keynes (long dead) and communism had over American labor unions and the Democrat Party. But it has gone too far, and I didn't foresee incompetent pedophile apologists like User:Conservative coming to the rescue 25 years down the line. More liberal claptrap
It is a matter of historical record that the Russians have brittle governance and I cite the following: The Russian Revolution of 1905, The February Revolution of 1917, The October Revolution of 1917 and the 1993 Russian constitutional crisis. On top of this, there was recently Prigozhinâs Armed Rebellion. Authoritarian regimes are "strong but brittle" as one historian put it. Even the Russians themselves know this. Russians have pulled billions of dollars and rubles from the country's banking system in a persistent "slow-motion" bank run, driven by escalating war costs, intensifying Ukrainian drone strikes, and growing anxiety that the Kremlin could freeze or seize private deposits.[6]
Next, all the material resources in the world are insufficient if you are not tapping them due to incompetence/corruption in government and social dysfunction (Russia is commonly ranked #1 or #2 in divorce statistics and it ranks #2 in alcoholism). Deny that the USA's national GNP, per capita GNP and productivity rate is not head and shoulders above Russia and lose all credibility. There are reasons why people are flocking to the USA and leaving Russia. There are 30 million people who are part of the Russian diaspora.
Question: Does the average American household wealth stand head and shoulders above the average Russian household weath?
I trust this further clarifies matters. Conservative (talk) 18:47, October 12, 2026 (EDT)

Average household wealth: USA, China and Russia
In nominal dollar terms:
American household wealth stands "head and shoulders" above that of Russia and China, even when adjusting for Purchasing Power Parity (PPP):
Even if you multiply China's or Russia's mean wealth by a standard PPP multiplier (which usually multiplies domestic purchasing power by 1.5x to 2.5x), the average U.S. adult still holds 4 to 6 times more wealth in real terms.
- So you are saying that every man, woman, and child in the US has a half million dollars in disposable assets....
- I guess you do not know what an average is. That is par for the course. I thought your numerical and statistical reasoning was poor. I guess you don't realize that very rich people push the average higher.
- Question: Do you know the difference between a mean, median and mode? My guess is that you don't know the difference and have to look it up. If only you had attended Princeton and been an engineering student like Andy Schlafly who you called "dumb". Then you might know the meaning of all three words. Conservative (talk) 02:34, October 14, 2026 (EDT)
- I guess you are a communist and do not respect private property. You view private wealth as collective wealth or national property. At minimum, you are expressing a statist view. You've laid a good foundation for a communist takeover for the students of the homeschooling network.
- Not to be redundant, but I've stated many times your nationalism and Russophobia I personally have read already in Mein Kampf and Hitler's Table Talk. It's a Darwinist view, the West is more "evolved".
- And again, your sourcing is atrocious. You obviously didn't look into UBS' (if it still exists in some form) role in the Clinton Foundation and Crash of 2008. All that is in Conservapedia before you began your ignorant fascist and Nazi rehabilitation of UBS.
- LOL. This reminds me of your attack on Prof. Jeffrey Sachs because of his association with various UN agencies - after you spammed Sachs' "Happiness Index" all over Conservapedia to support your liberal claptrap. - Now I suppose you are going to respond by saying the "average" net wealth of a people in a given nation differs between the haves and have nots, and deny that you ever advocated the outright communist seizure of private property through taxes ("We've done it before"). You're only making a Socialist argument for fairness and equity by using national averages.
