  7. Bryce Harper — an incredibly overhyped #1 draft pick in Major League Baseball who later signed the third most lucrative contract in professional sports, with the Philadelphia Phillies. Then he hit only .260 and the team that dumped him, the Washington Nationals, won the World Series without him.
  8. LeBron James — over-promoted by the media to an absurd extent. "King" James is overrated compared with Nikola Jokic and two outspokenly Christian stars, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant. LeBron helped Miami win two titles and helped Cleveland win a come-from-behind title in 2016, but received over-hype, such as the media claiming he is "superhuman". In Finals appearances LeBron is a mere 4-6 (far behind Bill Russell, who appeared in 10 consecutive Finals and won nine of those, en route to 10 titles in 12 overall Finals appearances). LeBron has set many career records but not always the helpful kind, such as holding the record for the most career turnovers.[7] "King" James was swept 4-0 in the playoff semifinals in 2023 by a team led by the far better -- but far less media-promoted -- Serbian-born Nikola Jokic who outperformed "King" James in every major category.[8] "In James’ six seasons with the Lakers, they have been eliminated in the first round of the playoffs twice and not even reached them two other times."[9]
  9. Magic Johnson — lucky enough to play on Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's Lakers to win some titles, but was crushed by Michael Jordan and the Bulls; no problem, Magic was a critic of President George H.W. Bush, which thrilled liberals.

  10. Colin Kaepernick — Quarterback Alex Smith did most of the dirty work giving the 49ers a good enough record to make it to the playoffs after Smith was injured Kaepernick was named the starter, but they lost the Super Bowl. Following Smith's release, the 49ers have struggled while Smith's new team, The Kansas City Chiefs have done well (though they ultimately let Smith go for Patrick Mahomes, who won the 2018 AFC MVP). Liberals protect him because he is likely a communist.[10] His main accomplishment is to coerce the NFL into a multimillion-dollar "settlement" claiming "collusion" by the NFL for not hiring him due to his anti-anthem protests (he was offered a contract in the Alliance of American Football, an NFL-sponsored minor league, but refused it wanting a minimum $20 million guaranteed contract).
  11. Ryan Lochte — has not won an individual Olympic medal in 5 years, but still grabs headlines for bad behavior. Suspended twice, first for tainting the 2016 Summer Olympics by disparaging its host with his false allegations about having been supposedly stopped in a taxicab and robbed at gunpoint when in fact he had vandalized a local gas station, and then in 2018 for violating a ban against intravenous infusions. Even his friendly fellow swimmers "expressed no sympathy for his situation" after his second suspension.[11] Lochte failed by a wide margin to qualify for any spot on the Olympic team in 2021.[12]
  12. Peyton Manning — a quarterback who won only two NFL championships in 17 seasons, on teams that carried him to victory with overpowering defenses; the media unjustifiably hyped Manning as one of the best ever and gave him numerous regular season honors. The liberal media treated him like the Second Coming of Christ in order to oust conservative Tim Tebow from his leadership position in the swing state of Colorado prior to the Presidential Election 2012. After replacing Tebow, Manning eventually caused a humiliatingly early exit for the Broncos from the 2013 playoffs by throwing two big interceptions and was even worse in a humiliating Super Bowl loss in 2014 and a first-round playoff loss in 2015. Called "a choke artist in the playoffs" for his many upset losses in the big games.[13]
  13. Steve Nash — an outspoken liberal who supported Obama, Nash was chosen twice by the lamestream media as the NBA MVP despite never leading his team to even an NBA Finals. Even worse, the former coach of Nash was then hired by the Lakers in late 2012, rather than a far better coach who was available.
  14. Danica Patrick - won only a single race in the Indy Car series, and never won a race in either the NASCAR Sprint Cup or Nationwide series, finishing no higher than fourth, although ESPN promoted her first and foremost when showing highlights of the NASCAR races in which she participated. The lamestream media adores her for her participation in controversial GoDaddy television advertisements.

Megan Rapinoe - potty-mouthed anti-Trumper who promotes allowing transgender biological men in women's sports, even though her team lost to an under-15 boys team in Texas; Rapinoe commented to the media about not being played in a game during the 2023 World Cup but when later given her chance on a game-deciding penalty kick, she missed it to cause the worst-ever elimination of the U.S.
  16. Ben Roethlisberger - he only won the Super Bowl twice, which isn't that many times, considering the team he's on has won six Super Bowl rings. Despite this, there is more hype about him then there really needs to be, in similar ways to Tom Brady.
  17. Cristiano Ronaldo - his spectacular talents have been ruined by his self-obsession, vanity, and cravings of celebrity. He is now officially "sad", despite being one of the luckiest men alive. His Portugal team was eliminated by Uruguay from the World Cup 2018, and Ronaldo's behavior towards officials was so disgraceful that it marred the tournament, as captured by photos.[14] Chess champion and soccer fan Magnus Carlsen said that he was forced by Real Madrid to say Ronaldo was his favorite, even though Carlsen thought Lionel Messi was clearly better.[15]
  18. Wayne Rooney - burst onto the scene as a 16-year-old and called "The English Pelé." As his career approaches its end, he completely failed to fulfill his potential, especially at international level, and frequently behaved like a childish and immature 16-year-old.
  19. Ronda Rousey — A bully and a jerk. She threatened to beat up Justin Bieber (who has absolutely no martial arts experience) over childish nonsense. She's only really famous because of her sex appeal & supporting Bernie Sanders.[16] Ironically she was beaten by Holly Holm (who is supporting Trump[17] and has predictably not received any media attention[18]). Afterwards she was part of World Wrestling Entertainment, which is scripted "sports entertainment", but is now no longer under contract with them.
  20. Michael Sam — was heavily promoted by the media for being a homosexual despite not being a first-round draft pick and getting cut from the Rams before the start of the season.
  21. Mark Sanchez — while playing quarterback for the New York Jets he was touted as the team's best QB over conservative Christian Tim Tebow, despite Sanchez falling apart at the end of the 2011–12 season and continuing to perform poorly in the 2012-2013 season (and was notable for one of the most embarrassing plays in NFL history -- the "Butt Fumble", which occurred when an opposing player blocked a lineman into Sanchez, whereupon the lineman's posterior hit Sanchez and the ball). When Tebow came to the Jets, liberals championed the former USC star Sanchez as the superior player despite his mediocre play throughout his career. As a result, Tebow was forced out of the Jets team and released at the end of the 2012-13 season.
  22. Ndamukong Suh - he intentionally hurts various NFL players so that they may not play football ever again. He also really isn't near as good as people hype him up to be, considering two out of the three seasons he was with the Miami Dolphins, they went 6-10. He also only made the playoffs two out of the five seasons with the Detroit Lions.
  23. Team USA (basketball) — failed to medal in two consecutive World Cup tournaments as of 2023, and its coaches seem more concerned with pandering to the liberal media and communist China than playing great basketball. Even the "Dream Team" of the 1992 Olympics, for all its overhype, benefited enormously from the breakup of the reigning gold-medalist Soviet Union team (1988) which forced the Lithuanian players to field their separate team in 1992 without other star Soviet players.
  24. Tiger Woods — has won only one major golf tournament in more than a decade, and yet he's the only one liberals want to promote while reporting on tournaments - even when he's not even playing, as in the 2014 Masters. Woods has had a string of bizarre, unexplained injuries not typical among professional golfers. Masters' winner Sergio Garcia responded to criticism of him in the media by Tiger Woods by saying that is "probably the first thing he's told you guys that's true in 15 years."[19] Woods turned in an improper score card during the 2013 Masters (not taking his penalty for an illegal drop), for which a player would ordinarily be disqualified[20] but apparently favoritism for Woods avoided the DQ.[21]
  25. Manu Ginóbili — lauded by the liberal media as one of the greatest players of his era, the statistics say otherwise; he never averaged 20 points per game nor five rebounds or assists at any point during his career. Although he has been a part of four NBA championship teams, teammates Tim Duncan and Tony Parker were easily the better players. Ginóbili did not even start the majority of the games in his career. He receives such adulation from liberals because of his atheism.[22] Ginóbili was also known to frequently "flop" in attempts to deceive referees.
  26. Rafael Nadal — he is erroneously hailed by the media as the equal of Roger Federer and Greatest Conservative Sports Star Novak Djokovic; although he has won 22 Grand Slam titles, most of them were at just one less-competitive Grand Slam tourney (the French Open). Nadal's atheism[23] is a key reason behind the media's support of him. Furthermore, like several other atheist athletes, Nadal has engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct by using up excessive amounts of time between serves as well as starting unprovoked confrontations with much lower-ranked players.[24]
