Diego de Almagro lived from 1475 to 1538. He was a Spanish soldier and was very important in his country's conquest of Peru. Almagro was the first Spaniard that tryied to conquer Chile in 1535 where he was seeking gold, however he didn't found much and he didn't liked the place so he went back to Peru where he fought a civil war with other conquerors in Cuzco.
