YouTube

YouTube is an Internet website that allows users to upload and share videos for the general public to watch. Overtime, YouTube has come under increasing criticism from users for its far-left liberal bias, authoritarian terms of service, censorship, and interference in the 2020 Presidential election. A major point of issue many take is that while conservative views are often removed, left wing, including sometimes extremely left wing, views are allowed. The website often shows bias against conservative creators, often disabling accounts of conservative hosts.

History

YouTube was founded by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim in February of 2005.

The "YouTube Generation" was named Time Magazine's Person of the Year for 2006. In October 2006, YouTube was purchased by Google Inc. Google's monitoring over YouTube has resulted in a distinct suppression of videos with conservative themes, along with direct promotion and over-saturation of liberal content.

A major flaw of the site is its poorly worded terms of conditions, which can warrant the deletion of almost any video that the moderators deem harmful to the left-wing agenda, deeming it as "hate speech". An example would be showing surgical operations but preventing showing abortion videos. YouTube is consistent when removing undercover videos that exposes dishonest counseling practices at Planned Parenthood centers. They are known for censoring videos critical of Democrats like Barack Obama. In addition, videos were censored if they were deemed anti-Islam. A large amount of YouTube content is also dedicated to video game channels, which go largely unrestricted despite some containing exceedingly violent content. YouTube also promotes individual introversion and internet dependency, especially within the millennial generation. In December 2019, YouTube announced it would demonetize certain videos even if they don't violate any of the company's policies.

On July 23, 2007, YouTube hosted an interactive debate between the Democratic candidates in the 2008 Presidential Election, in which users submitted videos of themselves asking questions. A similar debate involving the Republican candidates occurred on November 28. This led to controversy, as they used a question submitted by Keith Kerr, who has ties to Hillary Clinton's campaign.

Slate states that YouTube may be operating at a loss of nearly half a billion dollars a year, suggesting that it may be a loss leader for parent company Google or perhaps an investment in changing the landscape of information flow in the public. Attempts to reduce the costs and increase profitable content have been met with hostility.

The most popular video on YouTube is "Baby Shark" by children's Korean nursery rhyme channel Pinkfong, and has surpassed 9 billion views.

Censorship

Controversy arose in conservative circles after people such as Michelle Malkin claimed that YouTube censored conservative content. This led the creation of a pair of video-sharing websites: QubeTV, an alternative site whose origins are reminiscent of the creation of Conservapedia by people who believed Wikipedia® to be liberal, and the Christian alternative, GodTube [1].

On August 6, 2007, a group of music publishing companies announced a lawsuit against YouTube for its hosting of copyrighted content without providing proper compensation to the copyright holders when the videos containing the content were viewed.

In May 2009, in response to the suspension of the account of a child named Luke Taylor (screen name "Lukeywes1234"), for being under the age of 13, a group of users from the sites ebaumsworld and 4chan, among others, launched an "International Porn Day" raid on YouTube. They managed to upload thousands of explicit videos which were often tagged to show up in searches containing words such as "Jonas Brothers", "Twilight", "Hanna Montana", "High School Musical" and "John McCain". YouTube's delayed response was in part due to the raiders sowing confusion amongst YouTube users by purposely flagging non pornographic videos as containing inappropriate material.

YouTube has been listed by Gab as one of numerous leftist-controlled companies that have went "woke" and support the criminal rioters of Antifa and Black Lives Matter in the wake of the 2020 leftist riots.

Removal of dislike views

As of November 2021, YouTube no longer allows the dislike count on videos; this came about to protect the Biden White House YouTube channeldue to the high number of dislikes its videos (particularly those including press conferences by Joe Biden, Jen Psaki and Anthony Fauci) have received, with that protection also extended to videos from other left-wing and "woke" YouTube channels, as well as elite, out-of-touch transnational corporations. YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki claimed that YouTube was hiding dislike counts to "reduce bullying" and "weaponized" disliking, and that the dislike button was an "inaccurate" way of gauging video quality. The removal was widely criticized, including by original YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim, who said that the controversial move could hurt the platform's quality control.

A website that tracks the Biden White House page confirmed that YouTube had been suppressing the unpopularity and dislikes on every single one of Joe Biden White House video. YouTube suppressed dislikes of Biden by as much as 600% on some videos. Comments are also currently turned off on all videos released by the White House, as the Biden regime does not want to hear the public's criticism of its widely unpopular policies or regime officials.

Deleting early covid history

YouTube removed a video from China Uncensored dating to February 2020, before Covid invaded the U.S., citing “medical misinformation” for the censorship of an interview from an award-winning journalist who had covered previous viral outbreaks such as Ebola. “In Feb. 2020, we interviewed @Laurie_Garrett about Covid,” said Shelley Zhang of China Uncensored via Twitter. “We did not go against WHO guidance. The science may have changed since then, but no one is going back to Feb 2020 for medical advice. @TeamYouTube is deleting the historical record in the name of removing misinformation.”

China Uncensored wasn’t told by YouTube which part of the interview was deemed problematic but said that the video had been so thoroughly deleted that even their own archival copies of the video had disappeared from the platform.

At the start of the Delta variant panic, Youtube suspended Sky News Australia, a vocal Biden junta critic. In October 2021 Youtube censored conservative Rapper Bryson Gray's anti-Biden #1 hit, Let's Go Brandon, as "medical misinformation".

CCP collusion

In November of 2021, former Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli was accused of sexual assault on social media by tennis star Peng Shuai in 2021. Peng disappeared shortly thereafter. YouTube de-monetized a video entitled Chinese Star VANISHES After Rape Accusation posted on the Breaking Points channel.

Kyle Rittenhouse trial

YouTube censored the livestreams of a number of independent law groups who were streaming the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, briefly suspending their videos after Judge Bruce Schroeder dropped the charge of illegal possession of a firearm. YouTube suspended at least four different channels for a 20-minute period over what the company called 'policy violations' for using copyrighted audio – despite trial footage being in the public domain.

Rekieta Law, Law and Crime, Odysee and The Amazing Lucas had their streams suspended. Fake news channels such as CBS and PBS appeared to have no issues with their streams of the trial. In a livestream featuring eight lawyers, Nick Rekieta said, ‘I got a warning that says, heads up, we’ve detected copyrighted audio in your stream, your stream might be temporarily blocked.’

Reketia Law tweeted once the issue was resolved and their stream was back up, ‘We're BACK UP. @TeamYouTube dropped us by FORTY THOUSAND viewers over a BS copyright claim because they are literally paid for by the Media … THERE IS NO COPYRIGHT ISSUE HERE, Youtube is just shutting down independent creators.’ Shortly after, Rekieta shared another tweet which read, ‘Today, @TeamYouTube is pushing down independent creators in favor of BOGUS copyright from Media Partners YT consistently shows that creators who actually build their platform are disfavored to media. Hey YouTube. We have a contract, you're breaking it.'

Prior to its censorship of Operation Denazification, Youtube identified the popular World War II song, The Sacred War, rallying the defeat of the "fascist vermin hordes" as "inappropriate or offensive for some audience."

The few remaining positive aspects of YouTube

Despite the many liberal and degenerate aspects of the site, all hope is not lost. For example, Christian videos and music are extremely popular amongst users, reaching tens of millions of views. Some Gospel music videos, such as those uploaded by the band Hillsong Worship, have hundreds of millions of views. For example, their song What A Beautiful Name currently has over 433 million views.

Another positive of YouTube is the popularity and accessibility of conservative political videos (see Alternative Influence Network), though authentic conservative channels are dwindling in number, due to this aforementioned censorship. Curiously enough, establishment conservative channels, such as Ben Shapiro and PragerU, remain largely immune. YouTube CEO Susan Wojicki has even said that she knows she will never have to censor Shapiro, saying at the Lesbian Who Tech Summit:

There’s a set of content that has to meet the community guidelines. Ben Shapiro is going to meet the community guidelines. I don’t think you’re suggesting that we remove him from the platform. Are you?

”

One has to wonder just how many mainstream conservative personalities are in similar situations, where the institutions that control and fund them can rest assured that they will not step out of line.

Christian/Creationist YouTube video evangelism

Many YouTube users are vehemently anti-conservative, and pro-conservative videos are censored within hours. However videos directed at conservatives will usually garner high ratings, as with videos directed at liberals. Christian comments on some videos frequently attract insults by atheists. Campus Crusade for Christ International (CCCI) is one of the world's largest evangelism organizations within Christendom and has over 25,000 full-time missionaries. In 2006, Alan Beeber of CCCI predicted that internet evangelism will result in more conversion than all other forms of evangelism for CCCI combined.

The YouTube search engine is the second largest search engine in the world. There is a widespread problem with atheist cyberbullying on YouTube toward Christian and creationist YouTube channels. CreationWiki has developed a web page entitled YouTube participant advice, designed to show creationists how to thwart atheist cyberbullies]]. Also, one popular Christian YouTube channel, shockofgod, was shut down several times by atheist cyberbullying through false reports, but he was able to thwart their cyberbullying using some effective tactics. These false reports are not isolated incidents, many atheists will try this deceitful tactic to block out creation science.
