Thomas W. “Tom” Reed, II (born November 18, 1971, in Joliet, Illinois), a Republican, is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for the 23rd congressional district of New York. He previously served one term as Mayor of Corning, New York. He won his House seat after Democrat Rep. Eric Massa resigned amid allegations that he sexually harassed a male staffer. Reed was sworn into office in November 2010.

Rep. Reed joined 71 House Republicans and all Democrats in late July 2020 to vote in favor of removing Civil War-era statues.[2]

He was one of thirty-five Republicans to vote for the Partisan Hack resolution calling for an Investigation on Capital Hill.[3]
