  • One should take this Barak David style of "unnnamed sources" with caution when it comes to exact quoting on Trump re M.E.. Though with regards to MTG, it is true. And was always that way, including 2018 Space lasers BS.LaMarina (talk) 21:42, August 2, 2025 (EDT)
The whole "space lasers" question opens an interesting discussion: MTG did not use the phrase. Trolls inserted "Jewish space lasers" to dirty up her reputation. For us Cold War veterans, we are well familiar with Cold War weapons, like earthquake, climate, and "space laser" weapons that we paid to develop every working day of our lives. All this was ignored in the post-Cold War climate hoax era. A younger generation now has to be introduced, for the first time, to concepts like deterrence, and the fact that America dropped the doctrine of MAD for nuclear primacy in the Obama period (which even Cold War vets don't know). Gatewaypundit: Russian Intel: US and UK Working to Oust Zelensky and Enthrone Zaluzhny

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Now when it happens, what are you gonna call it, "Russian propaganda"? It only lends credibility to Russian media and adds to the narrative of the thoroughly discredited Western intelligence agencies that tried to thwart Trump in 2016 so NATO could move ahead with its designs on Russia & Ukraine.

The Russians have a motive for keeping Zelensky in place: his incompetence and corruption have helped fulfill their war objectives.

Update: Exclusive: Dutch Intelligence and The Russian Collusion Story. This stems from the time when now NATO General Secretary Mark Rutte was Dutch Prime Minister. That's probably how he got the appointment to NATO from Biden.

Interpreting war propaganda 102

We know the Moscow Times is a CIA/USAID funded rag published at NATO headquarters in Brussels and no one else is reporting this but them (except others quoting Moscow Times). So what is the agenda here? There are at least four possibilities:

1. It's disinformation in the information war:

2. It's a NATO attack on Russian civilian infrastructure;

3. It's Russia's crumbling infrastructure;

4. It's a Russian government scheme to get everybody to switch to cash so they can massively inflate the currency.

Given pragmatic analysis and editorial judgment, do we have enough understanding of the facts and what happened to spam this CIA bullcrap to conservative readers and the public?

Italian and Japanese food is delicious. I am so glad that the USA doesn't put a surcharge on these types of food because they are "unpatriotic" - like Russia does!
No wonder Russia scores lower on innovation that the USA as it actively discourages adventurous food choices and so many other choices as well. No Italian tomato sauce for you comrade - unless you pay the unpatriotic food surcharge! Conservative (talk) 20:25, July 25, 2025 (EDT)

War news

2000
2024
Beebe: President Trump is trying to hold together a Republican party that itself is divided along a number of lines, but particularly over foreign policy. I think there is a large portion of the party that still wants to think that we're in the early 2000s. We're still in a unipolar moment. The United States can essentially dictate to other countries what they can and can't do. And we don't really have to prioritize. We don't really have limited resources and capabilities. We can take on the Russians and the Iranians and the North Koreans and the Chinese all allied together. And we can still triumph. No need for making any kind of compromises or setting any kind of priorities on all this. And I think the reality is that that's just not possible.

Now arrayed against that part of the party is another part that I would regard as realists, or restrainers, or prioritizers. They go by many different names, and there are nuances among them. But they essentially begin from the premise that the United States has limited capabilities and as a result we have to prioritize our interests in the world. We can't have unlimited ambitions with limited capabilities. There has to be a balance there.

And so, how do you do that? And part of this, I think, means you've got to have a more pragmatic relationship with Russia, one that doesn't drive Russia and China to cooperate against the United States and the West in security matters to a much greater degree than they would otherwise. You don't pick a two-front fight with great powers in a multipolar world. That's not going to work out well. And I think right now there are significant numbers of Republicans that fall into that realist camp that are saying, "Wait a minute, this is not going well." Our efforts strategically, to find a way out of the culde-sac that we've maneuvered ourselves into, aren't working. We've got to pursue a settlement in Ukraine in ways that are realistic and can work. We've got to figure out how to deal with Iran in ways that don't lead toward perpetual conflict and war in the Middle East. I think Trump rhetorically has said all of this, but the question is, how do you translate those intentions into actual progress? That's where things are breaking down.

Note: We do not live in the early 2000s anymore.

Merz: "Don't be afraid of nuclear war".

'I don’t care what India does with Russia.'

This statement by Trump is being interpreted in the Kremlin as a retraction of his earlier threat to impose secondary sanctions of 100% tariffs on India by August 8, and the "other stuff" is considered a direct threat of military intervention or increased weapons funding. (Thune has already postponed moving the Graham-Blumenthal tariff bill, which corroborates removing the economic sanctions threat against India, implies coordination with Congress, can also be interpreted as military threats against Russia.)

Trump does not want his legacy tagged with the defeat of NATO & Ukraine, as Nixon didn't want to be the loser in Vietnam for the war the Democrats started and Biden is known for America's defeat in Afghanistan, so Trump figures he has no choice but to escalate war with Russia - a war America cannot possibly win. All Palestinians “praised and cheered” Oct. 7, admits Abbas’ advisor

Trump orders nuclear submarines moved after Russian 'provocative statements'

Trump orders nuclear submarines moved after Russian 'provocative statements'. By Phil Stewart, Jonathan Landay and Ryan Patrick Jones. Reuters, August 2, 2025. [15]. Let's pray for peace.LaMarina (talk) 09:57, August 4, 2025 (EDT)

Russian 'provocative statements'?
It's all been debunked anyway. Trump does not understand nuclear submarines' role in the nuclear triad. RobSZelensky Must Go! 10:02, August 4, 2025 (EDT)
What's likely to happen after Aug 8, despite Trump's threats of sanctions against India, China & Brazil which he's retracted, is US transfer of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Germany in a weapons and money laundering scheme. Despite Trump's efforts to keep US hands clean, it still is escalation making Biden's war Trump's war (as if the action of threatening Russia with nuclear equipped submarines hasn't done so already). Press Bureau of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service

Question: Who has better credibility at this point, the CIA which staged an attack on American democracy in the 2016 presidential election, and afterward blamed their crimes on the SVR with the Trump-Russia hoax and?

Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation: [16]

Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service has been receiving reports indicating that the UK intelligence agencies are planning to involve NATO allies to launch a massive raid on the so-called shadow fleet.

London intends to use a resonating incident with one or several tankers for launching this campaign. 👉 This plan provides for a major act of sabotage so that the resulting damage can be used as the pretext for Russia’s oil shipments to be dubbed a threat to international maritime navigation. This would, in turn, give the West a free hand in taking countermeasures. They can go as far as detaining any vessels deemed suspicious in international waters and escorting them to ports in NATO countries.

The Britons are considering the two options as possible casus belli.

• First — staging an accident with an undesirable tanker in a narrow spot along maritime navigation routes, such as in a strait. London believes that an oil spill or the fact that the accident results in blocking the waterway would give NATO countries 'sufficient grounds' for creating a precedent to carry out special and extraordinary inspections of vessels in a pretended move to check them for compliance with navigation safety rules and environmental standards.

• Second — setting a tanker on fire while it unloads its cargo at a port of a country friendly to Russia. In this case, the fire is expected to cause serious damage to port infrastructure and to spread to other ships, which would require an international investigation.

❗️London intends to task Ukrainian security services with carrying out these terrorist attacks.

In fact, the UK expects the perpetrators to do the dirty work and to fail at covering up their tracks, which would serve as a safety guarantee for the British. The international investigation would hold Russia responsible for the disaster, while in the worst-case scenario Ukraine will bear the blame, as it happened with the bombing of the Nord Stream pipelines.

The UK plans to choose the right moment for the attack so that it creates a ripple effect in the media for pressuring Donald Trump administration to compromise its national interests and forcing Washington to go all out in imposing harsh secondary sanctions on the buyers of Russian energy resources by casting them as having indirectly contributed to this tragedy.

The UK’s intelligence community has totally lost the remnants of any good sense because of the reminiscence for the time when Britain ruled the seas, with the British crown approving pirate lawlessness at sea.

It is high time that our UK colleagues understood that their increasingly brazen attempts not only to 'spite' their rivals, but to undermine global energy security and environment can make even their closest allies run out of patience.
