Townhall "Where your opinion counts" is a conservative news website and magazine owned by Salem Communications. Per their website, "Townhall.com is designed to amplify those conservative voices in America’s political debates," and "Townhall.com pulls together political commentary and analysis from over 100 leading columnists and opinion leaders, research from 100 partner organizations, conservative talk-radio and a community of millions of grassroots conservatives."

Tipsheet editors

While op-eds on Townhall are mostly by strong conservatives, its main news in the "Tipsheet" section tend to be more pro-GOP establishment. The editors there include:

  • Guy Benson – a gay conservative, he has at times been quick to criticize Trump, and trashed conservatives following Election Day in 2020 for correctly noting that the presidential election had been stolen.[1]
  • Katie Pavlich – a gun rights activist, she generally is among the more conservative editors of the magazine.
  • Matt Vespa – a more humorous, sarcastic editor, he is also a more right-leaning editor.
  • Reagan McCarthy – pro-GOP establishment, less supportive of President Trump and many prominent movement conservatives.
