Hello, and welcome to Wikiproject:News. We are a project trying to improve both the "In the News" section and the "Previous Breaking News" articles by subject. The immediate purpose of the "Previous Breaking News" is to allow editors to review news articles they might have missed while away from the site. The ultimate purpose of the "Previous Breaking News" is to update the corresponding Conservapedia articles.

If you are a liberal, or are offended by the news articles on the Main Page, do NOT sign up. We are not going to put liberal items on the Main Page, so your suggestions will be ignored and you will be removed from this project. To sign up simply put *~~~~.

This subsection is for suggestions for the "In the news" section of the Main Page. The news section is not trying to be unbiased. News items will be biased toward conservative, Christian people and views.

Examples:

State senator sues God [1]

An atheistic Nebraska state senator requested that the district court acknowledge the presence of God in the courtroom. Sen. Ernie Chambers is requesting "a permanent injunction ordering [God] to cease certain harmful activities and the making of terroristic threats."

The famous dissident Alexander Solzhenitsyn passes to the Lord, and even Russia's Putin praises him.[2]

All suggestions should be included in this format:

Wikified. Look for corresponding articles on Conservapedia and wikify the news article link.
Concise. Most of the articles are short and give the reader enough information to follow the links to corresponding articles on Conservapedia or to the original news article.

These suggestions will be reviewed by an administrator and considered for inclusion on the Main Page. Suggestions not following this format or the guidelines will be discarded.

This subsection is for updates to the Previous Breaking News by Subjects. The ultimate purpose is to use the previous news articles to update the corresponding Conservapedia articles.
