Markwayne Mullin (born July 26, 1977, age 46) is a member of Congress from Oklahoma's 2nd congressional district. He has opposed overreach by Barack Hussein Obama and dictatorship.

U.S. House of Representatives

As the ongoing Biden foreign policy disaster in Afghanistan resulted in a takeover by the Taliban, Mullin made efforts to rescue Americans in the region left behind, at one point reported disappearing on September 1, 2021 though later said he was "OK."[2] His heroic attempt was opposed by establishmentarians from both parties, including far-left House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Republican leader Kevin McCarthy.[3]

The mainstream media smeared Mullin by posting flashy headlines of a report which stated that Mullin "threatened" embassy officials without giving an equal coverage of his heroic efforts the D.C. establishment did not take.[4]

After confirming of his safety, Mullin stated:[5]

I am heading home...

Have we been helping get Americans out of Afghanistan, yes. Is the mission continuing, yes. Am I missing, no. Did I go dark for a little, yes because it wasn’t safe to be communicating. Am I extremely disappointed in how we (United States) left Americans behind… that would be an understatement. President Biden and his administration are absolutely lying to the American people about Americans and our friends being left behind.

So many great Americans, many who are veterans and many who are not, are stepping up to keep our promise….. We will never leave an American behind.

It was reported several days later that Mullin managed to successfully evacuate the family back to the United States.[6]

Mullin said that he witnessed the shooting of Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt during the attack, which occurred after she climbed through a barricade leading towards the House Chamber; Mullin's opinion was that the Capitol police officer "didn't have a choice" but to shoot, and that this action "saved people's lives", with members of Congress and their staff "in danger" from the "mob".[7][8][9]
