Jefferson Davis, George Wallace, Bull Connor, Strom Thurmond, Fred Phelps, Woodrow Wilson...welcome to the Democratic Party, the party of "tolerance", "peace" and "love".

Hi, i am a brazilian classical liberal/liberal conservative/paleolibertarian. I'm here to help expand and create new articles about Brazil, his politics, his right-wing and his left-wing. There are many things that need to be reported in this encyclopedia. I will help!

I love America and i stand with Israel!

My conservatism

I looked on the "conservative" page and i took the list of conservative principles that the page displays and here i will tell you that i agree and i disagree.

<poem> Total: 25 I support: 20 I'm against: 5 </poem>

  • Limited government and balanced budgets
  • Capitalism and free markets
  • Classroom prayer - It's up to each school, student's religion and faith diversity should be respected.
  • Respect for human life and prohibition of abortion - Except in cases of proven rape, mother's risk of life and anencephaly.
  • Abstinence education
  • Traditional marriage, not same-sex marriage - I'm a supporter of traditional marriage, but i don't look how the same-sex marriage could be harmful to society. Of course, no religious institution should be forced to marry same-sex people.
  • The concept of retribution for crimes, including the death penalty for heinous murders proven beyond reasonable doubt.
  • Family values, including traditional relationships and division of labor within the household. - This varies from family to family.
  • Respect for differences between men and women, boys and girls.
  • Laws against pornography - I advocate the destruction of pornography, but i think the government focusing it goes against the principle of limited government (first item in this list). Therefore, there must be some restrictive laws that prohibit the exhibition of pornography in public places or at certain times on television, for example.
  • The Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms
  • Economic allocative efficiency (as opposed to popular equity)
  • Parental control of education (parental rights)
  • Private medical care and retirement plans - I'm against universal health care system, but i think in the people who cann't afford a health treatment.
  • Canceling failed social support programs
  • No world government - I don't think it ever will exist, and consider this a nonsense and a conspiracy. But anyway, the sovereignty of nations must be radically supported.
  • Enforcement of current laws regarding immigration - I believe that the current law is too interventionist, i advocates a little more freedom for immigrants.
  • Respect for our military ... past and present - But shouldn't be an obligation
  • Rejection of junk science such as evolution and global warming - I consider junk science a silly and ridiculous term. Global warming is a joke, but the evolution is a valid theory and it will not totally against Christian religious principle. I advocate theistic evolutionism.
  • Minimal taxation
  • Federalism (Separation of powers among the National, State and Local governments)
  • Favoring states' rights over federal power, while accepting the Constitutional role of the federal government
  • A strong national defense
  • An Originalist interpretation of the Constitution
  • A dedication to the truth, and an ability to seek it

My liberalism

<poem> Total: 51 I support: 9 I'm against: 42 </poem>

In Brazil, liberal refers to classical liberal and libertarian. But here i'm referring to the american term that refers to the left-wing politics. Out of curiosity, after making the above list, i decided to do the same with the "liberal" page, the result is:

  • Spending money on government programs
  • Denial of science (especially creation science)
  • Government's ability to solve economic problems
  • The belief that terrorism is not a huge threat, and that the main reason for Muslim extremists' hostility towards America is because of bad foreign policy - Indeed, it is a foreign policy that will solve this problem.
  • Brainwashing voters with propaganda
  • Taxpayer-funded and/or legalized abortion - Even though the above list
  • Censorship
  • Socialism
  • Unsuccessful Keynesian economics as opposed to sound free market economics
  • Cessation of teacher-led prayer in classrooms and school/state-sponsored religious events - Even though the above list
  • Gun control
  • Elitism
  • Pseudo-intellectualism
  • Affirmative action
  • Opposition to government regulation or restriction of obscenity, pornography and violence in video games as a First Amendment right - The regulation of the video game industry is something just ridiculous.
  • Authoritarian government
  • Government-funded medical care, such as Obamacare - Even though the above list
  • Belief in evolution - Theistic evolution
  • Destroying the Christian foundations on which America was built on.
  • Taxpayer-funded and government-controlled public education
  • Limiting personal freedom
  • High progressive taxes, as a form of class warfare against wealthy business owners
  • Placement of men and women in the same jobs in the military - I see no problem with that
  • Slowly eroding the U.S. through Progressivism.
  • Legalized same-sex "marriage" and homosexual adoption - No opinion yet formed on homosexual adoption
  • Tax and spend economics
  • Libertine sexual morality.
  • Economic sector regulations
  • Denial of conservative roles in history. - For example, liberals frequently claim that George Washington was a deist when he was actually a devout Episcopalian. - Deism is not against conservatism
  • Spreading of political correctness
  • Government mass-surveillance
  • Non-syndicalist labor unions - Whether it's Syndicalist or non-Syndicalist, I say NO
  • Encouraging promiscuity through sexual education (the teaching of safe sex) rather than teaching abstinence from premarital sex
  • A "living Constitution" that is reinterpreted as liberals prefer, rather than how it is thought to have been intended.
  • Government programs to rehabilitate criminals - It depends, I believe that there should be rehabilitation, but in prison. I believe that prisoners should have to work in prison to be right to food, hygiene and comfort.
  • Gender Equality - Equal Rights yes, but not the feminist totalitarianism
  • Bestiality as a human right - I'm against not because of religion but because it rape, the animal cann't consent.
  • Abolition of the death penalty
  • Environmentalism - I'm a supporter of green conservatism and eco-capitalism, i believe people should be aware to not pollute the planet, but i'm totally opposed of government authoritarian laws against companies.
  • Globalism - Depends on the meaning of the term, i'mm against what the article "globalism" declares that's globalism, but i'm a strong advocate of globalization.
  • Constitutionally mandated separation of church and state.
  • Opposition to full private property rights.
  • Reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine
  • Welfare
  • Opposition to domestic wire-tapping as authorized in the Patriot Act
  • Regulation of business rather than a laissez-faire capitalist economy
  • Opposition to the Constitution. Liberals seek to expand federal power at the expense of local government and silence the conservatives who hold them back, violating the 10th and 1st Amendments respectively.
  • Denial of traditional gender roles - I don't deny gender roles, but i believe it shouldn't be imposed.
  • Support of financially irresponsible policies
  • Encouragement of global warming alarmism
  • Rejection of logical

We can see that i support a few itens of the liberal agenda, but not enough to be considered a moderate, because i support almost all items of the conservative agenda, except some, and i'm against almost every item of the liberal agenda, supporting some. Therefore, i define myself as a liberal conservative.
