Gibbethon

Gibbethon was a city located in the territory of Dan, and inhabited by the Philistines. The Old Testament describes how this city was given to the Kohathites.[1]
A king of Israel, Nadab, was slain by his own officer Baasha while besieging it.[2] After the secession of the ten tribes, the city remained in the possession of the Philistines.[3]
