So this is what a Russian victory looks like? I just came back from Pattaya. The dollar is still king and the city is full of Russian children. This is a very important point you bring up here. Too many WWII narratives are too simplistic for young readers. Even in the first 15-30 years after 1945, the true dimensions of the Holocaust were not known or covered. And if you stop at 1945, you're still leaving out too big a picture of the whole story. Here is the proof: Putin must know that Biden blew up Nordstream. What has he done about it? IMO, Trump could arrange a ceasefire based on the current frontline, if Putin is willing to go along with that. If Kamala wins, Putin would have to withdraw back to Russia to get a ceasefire. A president is not free to fire career civil servants and replace them with his own cronies (the spoils system was ended after the Civil War and Reconstruction). Instead, the Democrat policy is to constantly expand the civil service bureaucracy (examples: the New Deal, or the creation of the TSA when Republicans argued for privatization). When Obama entered the White House, the White House National Security Staff was approximately 200; since he can't fire them all and replace them with his own cronies, Obama and the Democrat Congress (which provides the funding) simply doubled the size of the staff from 200 to 400 - with all new staffers having been ideologically chosen. Attrition through retirement and resignation of the original 200 would be replaced with more ideologically chosen new hirees (recall how when Peter Strzok was removed from the Crossfire Hurricane and Mueller team investigations, he wasn't fired, but rather reassigned to work in the FBI personnel office, screening new applicants). This same technique, of doubling staff with woke employees loyal to Democrats, has been used in the FBI, CIA, NSA, IRS, and other agencies formerly thought to be 'non-partisan', 'professional', or 'independent'.
