This is a listing of the current Governors and Lieutenant Governors of the United States of America. Each of the Governor and Lt. Governor links takes you to the applicable state government website. (R) signifies the officeholder belongs to the Republican Party. (D) signifies the officeholder belongs to the Democratic Party.
Note: The Lt. Governors of Alaska, Hawaii, and Utah are responsible for many of the functions usually associated with the Secretary of State.
- *Arizona, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Wyoming do not elect Lt. Governors.
