Image uploading is a privilege, not a right. See Conservapedia:User rights. Requests for image uploads can be placed here, or simply ask someone with upload rights or any Administrator.
NOTE: Do NOT upload AP Photos (Copyright – Associated Press). We don't have Fair use rights to those images. See also: Conservapedia:Copyright.
Users without image upload privileges can specify specific locations for their requested images with {{Image request}}, which adds articles to Category:Articles in need of an image.

Want to upload a picture of the person for a new article I created
I would like to upload the picture at https://www.canadianatheists.ca/profile/randolf-richardson.png to the new article I created at https://www.conservapedia.com/Randolf_Richardson so that I can make it match the format of the article about David Silverman at https://www.conservapedia.com/David_Silverman (I want to add more to this article as I dig up more dirt about him because he was very rude about Jesus to one of my friends who was in tears, so his bad deeds needs to be exposed once I have evidence that can be checked and verified).
Amen. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Macy Rhume (talk)

- Bing's license filtering is iffy at best, but I think we can use it under "Fair Use." The site referenced here was not the copyright owner. Also, I generally prefer to avoid deliberately unflattering photos. File:Rashida Tlaib.jpg --DavidB4 (TALK) 23:40, 28 March 2020 (EDT)
- You're right about Bing's license filtering, as at least once I've used the license filter and still came across an image from the Associated Press. Also, about unflattering images, I tend to pick those for the most nasty/bigoted or incompetent Democrats. And once again, thank you DavidB4! I really appreciate it! --LiberaltearsYour reminder that Biden committed quid pro joe 13:11, 29 March 2020 (EDT)

- Thank you DavidB4! Just curious though, how come there is extraneous space in the picture? I just added the file to the page about Jenean Hampton, and due to the function set for images in officeholder templates, the image appears small and right of center. --LiberaltearsYour reminder that Biden committed quid pro joe 14:57, 6 April 2020 (EDT)
- That's a good question. It sounds like a problem we would need to troubleshoot in the template code. You could try inserting other images just to test, and see if they have the same issue. I suppose it is possible that a different image shape could work around this problem. --DavidB4 (TALK) 18:45, 7 April 2020 (EDT)
- Thank you DavidB4! Just curious though, how come there is extraneous space in the picture? - I don't think it's the template code that's the problem. Because the image you uploaded had empty space on both the left and the right and there was more space on the left, it appears (on the content page in the template) to be small and right of center. Do you suppose you can re-upload the image without the extraneous space? I was not initially aware that there was the empty space in the original file in the source linked.
- Also, out of topic, but is the image in public domain? It wasn't specified in the website, and it says "Official Portrait" and looks like it's most likely a government picture. In addition, the image was apparently used here and the file was attributed to ky.gov, which would be a government website. Thank you DavidB4! --LiberaltearsYour reminder that Biden committed quid pro joe 19:00, 7 April 2020 (EDT)
- Oh wow. I should have noticed that blank space--thanks for pointing it out! I think I've fixed it. In regard to licensing, images made by the U.S. federal government are in the public domain. However, individual states and towns sometimes make copyright claims on their materials. Whether Kentucky does that I do not know, but without researching KY law, I didn't dare list it as PD. If you find out that they do release to the PD, feel free to update it.

- It looks like there is a lot of empty space here. That's not a problem, but would you like it cropped down before I upload it, or do you want it as-is? Either is fine with me. --DavidB4 (TALK) 16:26, 31 March 2020 (EDT)
- Done: File:Alana Mastrangelo (cropped).jpg. For lack of a reply, I decided to crop it before uploading. If you want the original version uploaded, let me know. --DavidB4 (TALK) 14:33, 6 April 2020 (EDT)
