A liberal obsession is an idea or an ideal which liberals obsess over. These obsessions can range from political, to environmental, or even personal. They are almost always groundless, irrational and contradictory to facts and evidence. These obsessions can lead, if enough pressure is applied, to liberal creep as liberals push their false ideals even further.
