Indiana University is a public university established in Indiana in 1816.[3] The school is spread across 8 campuses in Indiana: South Bend, East, Fort Wayne, Northwest, Southeast, Indianapolis, Kokomo and, its flagship, Bloomington.[4] The school ranked #75 in US News's 2008 "National Universities: Top Schools" list.[5]

Athletics

The flagship men's basketball team has won five national championships.[6] The football program has won three bowl games (while losing five).[7]
