The main campus of the University of Mississippi (colloquially known as Ole Miss) is located in Oxford, Mississippi with three other branches in Booneville, Tupelo, and Southaven. It was founded in 1848. The University now has nine Academic divisions on its main campus:

  • The College of Liberal Arts
  • The schools of Accountancy
  • Applied Sciences
  • Business Administration
  • Education
  • Engineering
  • Pharmacy and Law
  • And the Graduate School

The University of Mississippi was the first Public University in the state of Mississippi.
