Classic military Keynesianism. See also: Stagflation.

Iran

"Trump’s former national security advisor John Bolton recently tweeted that other administration officials had warned the president to dismiss Bolton’s urging to attack Iran because of the easily foreseeable consequences of that war, saying “In 2018–2019, I made the case for regime change in Iran as often as I could. Voices in Trump’s orbit often cited Iran’s capacity to close the Strait of Hormuz as a reason against regime change. Trump has been fully aware this is a possibility, and yet did not prepare.”
"During his Wednesday night speech, Donald Trump made the following claim about Iran’s air defenses: "They have no anti-aircraft equipment, their radar’s 100% annihilated, we are unstoppable as a military force." It appears that President Trump was a bit premature. The US Air Force had a difficult day on Friday:
➡️F-15E (48th Fighter Wing) — Shot down in southwestern Iran. Pilot rescued; WSO still missing.
➡️A-10C Thunderbolt II "Warthog" — Shot down and crashed into the Persian Gulf. Pilot reportedly recovered.
➡️2X HH-60G Pave Hawk — Hit during CSAR mission, one crash-landed across the border in Iraq. All crew reportedly rescued.
➡️KC-135R Stratotanker — Emergency squawk 7700 around 10:00 UTC near Tel Aviv.
➡️F-16CJ “Wild Weasel” (F-16C Block 50/52, SEAD configuration) — Emergency squawk 7700 over Saudi Arabia near the Iraqi border around 15:00 UTC; later disappeared from FlightRadar.
➡️KC-135R Stratotanker — Emergency squawk 7700 around 19:00 UTC near Tel Aviv.
  • 1 x CH-47 Chinook helicopter (Destroyed on the ground in Kuwait)
  • 1 x A-10 Warthog plane (Shot down & destroyed near the Strait of Hormuz)
  • 1 x A-10 Warthog plane (Shot in Iran, crash-landed & destroyed in Kuwait)
  • 1 x F-15E Strike Eagle jet fighter (Shot down & destroyed in Iran)
  • 2 x HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopters (Damaged while flying in Iran)
  • 2 x MH-6 Little Bird helicopters (Shot down & destroyed in Iran)
  • 2 x Lockheed MC-130 transport planes (Shot down & destroyed in Iran)
  • 1 x MQ-9 Reaper Drone (Shot down & destroyed in Iran)
"...Hundreds of U.S. personnel have been killed or injured in the region since the U.S. launched a war on Iran just over a month ago...."
"In the Situation Room on Feb. 11, Mr. Netanyahu made a hard sell, suggesting that Iran was ripe for regime change and expressing the belief that a joint U.S.-Israeli mission could finally bring an end to the Islamic Republic....Mr. Netanyahu’s presentations — and Mr. Trump’s positive response to them — created an urgent task for the U.S. intelligence community. Overnight, analysts worked to assess the viability of what the Israeli team had told the president....The U.S. officials assessed that the first two objectives were achievable with American intelligence and military power. They assessed that the third and fourth parts of Mr. Netanyahu’s pitch, which included the possibility of the Kurds mounting a ground invasion of Iran, were detached from reality. When Mr. Trump joined the meeting, Mr. Ratcliffe briefed him on the assessment. The C.I.A. director used one word to describe the Israeli prime minister’s regime change scenarios: “farcical”. AI news

  • "MIT researchers have shown that ChatGPT tends to create a phenomenon they call “delusional spiraling.” You make a proposition and AI agrees. You make it again, and it agrees even more, backing it up with arguments that are flat-out false. From the paper’s abstract: “ ‘AI psychosis,’ or ‘delusional spiraling’ is an emerging phenomenon where AI chatbot users find themselves dangerously confident in outlandish beliefs after extended chatbot conversations.”

Netanyahu's optimistic speech

Under President Trump's visionary leadership, America and Israel are acting together in Iran with great determination and unprecedented strength. Operation Rising Line is designed to remove the existential threats posed by the Ayatollah regime, the regime that has waged war against America and Israel and the people of Iran for 47 years. It chants death to America, death to Israel, and it delivers death to its own people. Our goals are three. One, removing the nuclear threat. Second, removing the ballistic missile threat and removing both of these threats before they're buried deep underground and become immune from aerial attack. And third, this means creating the conditions for the Iranian people to grasp their freedom, to control their destiny. Today, the Ayattollah regime is not only attacking America, not only attacking Israel, not only attacking the Iranian people, it is attacking, it is attacking the entire Middle East and beyond. They've attacked civilians and Americans and American assets in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Oman, and they've even even attacked through their proxies Cyprus in Europe.

We've warned for decades that their ballistic missile program would be used to attack these targets far and wide. And if they're not stopped, that's just the beginning.

The death cult in Iran is trying to blackmail the world by closing a key international maritime route, the straits of Homuz. It won't work. Israel is helping in its own way and intel and other means the American effort to open the straits of Hormuz.

But I want to ask you to imagine how the Ayatollah regime would be able to blackmail the entire world if they had ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads. Just imagine what they would do. Look at what they're doing now and imagine what they would do if they had ballistic missiles, international range ballistic missiles, and nuclear tipped warheads. Just imagine what a great threat that would be.

So today, Israel and the United States are protecting America, Israel, the entire Middle East. But I venture to say the entire world. Despite the fake news that is unfortunately being spread since the start of the war 20 days ago, we are winning and Iran is being decimated.

Iran's missile and drone arsenal is being massively degraded and will be destroyed. Hundreds of their launchers have been destroyed. Their stockpiles of missiles are being hit hard and so are the industries that produce them. That's important. In Rising Lion, we destroyed missiles and we destroyed a lot of the nuclear infrastructure. But what we're destroying now are the factories that produce the components to make these missiles and to make the nuclear weapons that they're trying to produce. We're wiping out their industrial race in a way that we didn't do before. Iran's air defenses have been rendered useless. Their navy is lying at the bottom of the sea. Today, we hit the other part of their navy in the Caspian Sea. Their air force is nearly destroyed. Iran's command and control structure is in utter chaos. And I can tell you that there's still more work to do, and we're going to do it.

And I want to close these opening remarks with one other fake news. And that is that Israel somehow dragged the US into a conflict with Iran. Does anyone really think that someone can tell President Trump what to do? Come on. President Trump always makes his decisions on what he thinks is good for America. And may I add, I think what is also good for future generations. In this case, those interests are absolutely clear and so is the clarity of our achievements.

Together in close coordination with President Trump, the close coordination between America and Israel, our militaries, our intelligence services, we're achieving goals in lightning speed.

But I want to say another word. It's been said that for 40 years I've been saying that Iran is a danger to Israel and a danger to the world. That is true. You know who else said that? President Trump. 47 years ago when the Iranian thugs took over the American embassy. He said how dangerous this regime is. In his first term in office, he didn't need any convincing. He said the Iranian nuclear deal was the worst deal that he'd ever seen and he walked out of it.

Right before his second term before he was reelected, I went to see him in Mar-a-Lago. The first thing he said to me was, "Bibi, we've got to make sure that Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons." He said that to me. I didn't say it to him. He didn't need any convincing there either. Now, why did he say that? Because for more than four decades, this regime, as I said in the beginning of my remarks, is chanting 'Death to Israel, Death to America.' But they say Israel is only the small Satan[sic] standing in their way. The great Satan[sic] is the United States of America.

And these ideological fanatics, these lunatics define their own destruction.

Their reason for being is wiping out Western civilization and America that leads it. They have claimed the lives. They've maimed and wounded thousands of Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan. They killed the American Marines in Beirut. They bombed your embassies. They tried to assassinate the American president, Donald Trump, not once, but twice.

Now they blackmail for oil.

Just imagine what they would do, what they're capable of doing if these lunatics had nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them to every American city and every European city and everywhere around the globe. This is a danger for the entire world. It's certainly a danger for Israel. It's certainly a danger for America. We see eye to eye on that. President Trump and I, Israel and America. But I think if people are honest, if leaders are honest, they would understand that we're not only fighting their our fight, we're fighting their fight. I speak to dozens of world leaders. Dozens. They all know that. And privately, they all say that. They say that privately, but I say it publicly.

The world owes a debt of deep indebtedness. deep indebtedness to President Trump for leading this effort to safeguard our future.

Prediction markets

Here is what the best prediction market for geopolitics Metaculus.com says:

Putting it all together: Metaculus’ implied timeline Based on the questions you pasted, the forecasting community is signaling:

🟥 War ends in early 2026 → Very unlikely (12.5% ceasefire probability)

🟧 War ends in late 2026 → Possible but not favored (Conflict intensity + US posture suggests longer)

🟨 War ends in 2027 → Most likely window (Regime stability forecasts + nuclear deal timeline)

🟩 War ends in 2028 → Also plausible (If negotiations drag)

🟦 War continues into 2029 → Low probability (Nuclear deal forecast implies resolution before then) Conservative (talk) 18:30, March 19, 2026 (EDT)

Can I ask, how often has this particular site been proven right before on geopolitics?

LaMarina (talk) 18:54, March 19, 2026 (EDT)

  • UPDATE. I asked Grok to be specific. Here's the text:

"Specifically regarding Israel-related forecasts (including the Israel-Gaza conflict post-October 2023, Israel-Iran tensions, Hezbollah, and broader Middle East dynamics), the track record is mixed but shows both successes and notable misses, which is typical for volatile, fast-moving geopolitical topics." Now to ask what's the track record for wars in Israel, that is too complicated. Each case is different .LaMarina (talk) 22:23, March 19, 2026 (EDT)

And the next case/example is also linked to dictatorship Iran government which controls all:

US Justice Department seizes four websites tied to Iranian hacking, targeting Israelis. “Terrorist propaganda online can incite real-world violence,” stated Pamela Bondi, the U.S. attorney general. Mar. 19, 2026. JNS Staff.

The U.S. Justice Department said that it seized four websites that were connected to the Iranian regime’s Intelligence and Security Ministry and its “attempted psychological operations targeting adversaries of the regime by claiming credit for hacking activity, posting sensitive data stolen during such hacks and calling for the killing of journalists, regime dissidents and Israeli persons.”

“Terrorist propaganda online can incite real-world violence,” stated Pamela Bondi, the U.S. attorney general. “This network of Iranian-backed sites will no longer broadcast anti-American hate.”

The four sites are Justicehomeland(.)org, Handala-Hack(.)to, Karmabelow80(.)org, and Handala-Redwanted(.)to. At press time, the urls returned pages stating that “this website has been seized” with the logos of the Justice Department and the FBI.

“Iran thought they could hide behind fake websites and keyboard threats to terrorize Americans and silence dissidents,” stated Kash Patel, FBI director. “We took down four of their operation’s pillars and we’re not done. Specifically, US/Israel war on Iran in addition to the YLC-8B radar, cited above. Note in the China article: "China ships carbon fiber, dioctyl sebacate, and tools, to IRGC Aerospace Force for solid-fuel motors. This lets Iran rebuild & scale ballistic missile production toward thousands more by 2027." Trump simply does not know what he's talking about when he says missile production facilities have been "wiped out", which are below ground and cannot be touched given the current state of technology of the US/NATO.
Most all of this was known when Soleimani mapped out the strategy a decade ago.
Also note: "US fired ~400 Tomahawk missiles in first 72 hours (>10% inventory gone) in Iran, but production is only 90/year, restock would take 4.5+ years at current rates. Each missile costs $2-4M; This creates a dangerous gap for China to exploit in Taiwan while Iran gains operational freedom." The FBI is investigating former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent over allegations that he leaked classified information. The probe predates his resignation. Kent quit his role citing opposition to the U.S. war against Iran, stating Iran posed no imminent threat and that the conflict broke from the administration’s prior approach to avoiding prolonged Middle East wars. A senior administration official had previously called him a “known leaker” who was cut out of intelligence briefings. Kent is a former Army Green Beret, CIA paramilitary officer, and Gold Star spouse.

Senator Mitch McConnell posted on X that Joe Kent testified before the Senate one year ago that Iran and its terror proxies threatened U.S. servicemembers. Kent had pledged to lead with integrity and accountability. McConnell stated that the virulent antisemitism in Kent’s resignation letter shows he is incapable of upholding those pledges. He added that isolationists and antisemites have no place in either party or in government.

Kent claimed in his letter that Iran posed no imminent threat and that the war was on behalf of Israel. Fitzgerald notes Kent’s military background, his wife Shannon’s death by ISIS, and his associations with antisemites Nick Fuentes and neo-Nazi Grayson Arnold. Recent Iranian missile strikes in the on Israel (March 2026) No military targets

Four Arab Palestinian women were killed, and several others (reports vary from 6–13) were injured. The missile was described in some reports as cluster-style, with debris or fragments causing the impact after possible interception. This marked one of the first fatal spillover incidents into the West Bank from the Iran-Israel exchanges. [11]

- **March 20, 2026 (Friday)**: During a broader Iranian ballistic missile barrage, one missile was intercepted by Israeli defenses over/near Jerusalem. The warhead (or a major fragment) remained largely intact and crashed into a parking lot in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City. This area is near major holy sites like the Western Wall and the Temple Mount/Al-Aqsa compound (roughly a quarter mile away). Minor damage was reported (e.g., to the parking area), with some light injuries. The proximity raised concerns about potential escalation involving sacred sites. [12] [13] [14]

- **March 21, 2026 (Saturday/"today" relative to March 22)**: Iran launched missiles targeting areas in southern Israel, including direct hitting city of Arad m, area Hasidic Jews, who are Ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) Jews—non-Zionist and do not serve in the IDF. Bottomline (con'd): President Trump and US information warfare:
"The American political leadership, including the President himself, repeatedly makes contradictory statements about the U.S. war plans and objectives. It is a mistake to take everything the U.S. President says at face value. Donald Trump is a master of media communication and enjoys speaking with the press. ...Trump’s statements are clearly part of U.S. information warfare. However, Trump is certainly aware that changing his opinions in public undermines his credibility, also with Iran.
"There is much discussion about the American strategic objectives in the war with Iran. Some claim Trump is changing them every other day. Such statements reflect a deep misunderstanding of information warfare and of how military planning works....
"President Trump and the American military leaders probably expected the war to last about two to three weeks. They expected the war to end before it significantly impacted the global economy, particularly through the oil price. Furthermore, Trump is undoubtedly aware of the unpopularity of war in the U.S. and did not want to test the patience of his supporters, especially with the midterm elections approaching. Moreover, maybe there were also concerns about the somehow limited air defense missile stocks of the Arab allies...."

Trump hired Joe Kent out of pity "and this is what he does" - he says

Trump Goes Scorched Earth On Joe Kent, Suggesting Leak And Bringing Up Remarriage.

“I said, ‘Call him up, give him a job in the White House,’ and this is what he does.”

[...]

Trump sharply criticized Kent in response to a question from The Daily Wire’s White House correspondent Mary Margaret Olohan, who is flying with him as part of the press pool, and portrayed him as ungrateful after being brought into the administration.

“Look, I’m not a fan of the guy,” Trump said, adding that he felt bad for Kent after his wife’s death and losing two Congressional races. “I said, ‘Call him up, give him a job in the White House,’ and this is what he does.”

A source familiar with the matter told The Daily Wire that federal authorities are probing whether Kent improperly shared classified material. The investigation comes just days after Kent stepped down from his post in protest of the Trump administration’s military campaign against Iran’s Islamic regime.

“I hear they’re looking at him for leaking. That’s possible,” Trump said.

Trump also brought up Kent’s personal life, noting that after his wife’s death, “he remarried fairly quickly.”

In his resignation letter, Kent argued that Iran “posed no imminent threat to our nation” and claimed the conflict was driven by “pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”

“Iran’s been a threat for 47 years, and there’s not a country in the world that doesn’t agree with me on that,” Trump said. “I never knew he had a problem.”

Last week, Vice President JD Vance echoed the administration’s stance, emphasizing that officials are expected to support presidential decisions once they are made.

“Whatever your view is, when the President of the United States makes a decision, it’s your job to make that decision as effective and successful as possible,” Vance said. “If you are on the team and you cannot help implement the decisions of his administration … then it’s a good thing for you to resign.”

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard also raised concerns about Kent’s public comments blaming Israel for the war. When asked by Rep. Elise Stefanik whether the remarks were troubling, Gabbard replied, “Yes.”

In a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing last week, CIA Director John Ratcliffe directly contradicted Kent.

“I think Iran has been a constant threat to the United States for an extended period of time and posed an immediate threat,” he said.

Since leaving the administration, Kent has appeared on podcasts hosted by Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, where he has continued to argue that the war with Iran does not serve American interests and has sought to rally opposition among conservative audiences.

Following his departure, people in Trump’s orbit accused him of leaking, with one calling him a “crazed egomaniac.”

“Joe Kent is a crazed egomaniac who was often at the center of national security leaks, while rarely (never?) producing any actual work,” said Taylor Budowich, the former deputy White House chief of staff. “He spent all of his time working to subvert the chain of command and undermine the President of the United States.”

“This isn’t some principled resignation — he just wanted to make a splash before getting canned. What a loser.”

The Modern Barbary Pirates: The Islamic Fascist Republic of Iran Holds the World Hostage

Iran Charges Some Ships Hormuz Transit Fees for Safe Passage. By Salma El Wardany, Fiona MacDonald, Ben Bartenstein, and Samy Adghirni. Bloomberg News, March 24, 2026. [33]

The Modern Barbary Pirates: The Islamic Fascist Republic of Iran Holds the World Hostage *

In the early 19th century, the Barbary Pirates—Muslim corsairs from North Africa's Islamic states—terrorized the Mediterranean and Atlantic, seizing ships, enslaving crews, and demanding tribute from nations too weak or unwilling to fight back. European powers and the young United States eventually crushed them with cannon fire and resolve. Today, history repeats in the Persian Gulf, but on a far grander, more menacing scale. The Islamic Republic of Iran—a regime steeped in theocratic fascism, jihadist ideology, and centuries-old supremacist impulses—has revived the pirate's playbook with 21st-century sophistication.

According to recent reporting, Tehran has begun charging select commercial vessels הtransit "fees"' through the Strait of Hormuz, with demands reaching as high as $2 million per voyage. These are not official tariffs or legitimate sovereign dues. They are ad hoc extortion rackets: pay up for "safe passage," or risk harassment, seizure, or worse from Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the regime's maritime muscle. Some ships have already coughed up the cash. Others navigate under the shadow of Iranian threats. This isn't governance; it's piracy dressed in clerical robes.

The Strait of Hormuz is no ordinary waterway. It carries roughly 20% of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas. Choke it, tax it, or terrorize it, and you squeeze the global economy by the throat—higher fuel prices, disrupted supply chains, inflation for billions. Iran knows this. For decades, its mullahs and generals have brandished the strait as a weapon: mining it, attacking tankers, proxy-swarming with speedboats, and issuing apocalyptic threats rooted in their apocalyptic Shia eschatology. Now, amid escalating conflict, they formalize the shakedown. Iranian lawmakers openly boast about it, framing the loot as proof of "strength" and a necessary cost of "war." One parliamentarian declared it reflects Tehran's "sovereign regime" over the passage. In reality, it exposes the regime's nature: a parasitic fascist entity that produces little of value but extracts tribute through fear.

This is classic Islamic supremacism in action. The regime's ideology—Khomeinist, expansionist, and hostile to "infidel" powers—views the world as divided between the House of Islam (under their twisted rule) and the House of War. Non-Muslims, or even insufficiently submissive Muslims, must submit, pay jizya-like protection money, or face the sword (or speedboat drones and missiles). The Barbary Pirates justified their raids with Quranic calls to jihad and plunder. Iran's IRGC does the same, blending medieval theology with modern ballistic missiles and asymmetric warfare. They don't build; they blockade, they bomb proxies, they enrich themselves on smuggled oil and Western ransoms while their people starve under sanctions and mismanagement.

The world has tolerated this for too long. Western capitals dithered with "deals," appeasement, and frozen assets. Gulf states paid quiet danegeld. Shipping firms weighed insurance premiums against the risk of Iranian capture. Meanwhile, the regime funds Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, and other terror tentacles, all while racing toward nuclear breakout. Charging $2 million "tolls" is merely the latest symptom of a deeper sickness: a fascist theocracy that treats international waters as its personal fiefdom and the global energy market as an ATM.

Free navigation through Hormuz is not a favor Iran grants; it is a universal right under international law and basic human commerce. No single regime—especially one that hangs dissidents, stones women, and chants "Death to America"—should dictate terms to the world's lifelines. History shows the remedy for Barbary-style piracy: overwhelming naval power, targeted strikes on enablers, and zero tolerance for tribute. The United States and its partners sank the old pirates. The modern ones in Tehran deserve the same unambiguous message: the age of ransom is over.

The Islamic Republic isn't a normal country with legitimate grievances. It is a revolutionary death cult masquerading as a state, holding the world economically hostage while exporting chaos. Until that regime is confronted, contained, or collapses under its own tyrannical weight, the "transit fees" will only grow bolder—and the pirates will keep laughing from their fortified shores.

Reza Pahlavi steals the show at CPAC. GRAPEVINE, Texas — Reza Pahlavi, the son of the last shah of Iran, was the undisputed show-stopping speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

His supporters treated the exiled leader with a fervor similar to that which President Donald Trump would have received if he had attended the annual gathering.

Hours before Pahlavi addressed the crowd, his supporters, many of whom were sporting the Iranian flag, gathered at the Gaylord Texan, where they chanted in his favor. Mere minutes before Pahlavi appeared onstage, security stopped allowing attendees into the main stage, claiming the room had reached capacity.

Pahlavi used his 28-minute speech to paint a vision of a free Iran that is no longer a terrorist threat to the U.S. or the rest of the free world. He also used his speech to make the case to become the next leader of Iran, to the delight of the crowd. WashingtonExaminerTelling (talk) 21:02, March 28, 2026 (EDT)

Why They Lie About ‘Jewish Terrorists’. From the West Bank to New York City, anything to distract from the obvious and looming threat of Muslim violence. By Liel Leibovitz. March 29, 2026

Jewish extremist terrorism is out of control. “A man linked to pro-Israel terrorist group” was charged “in a plot to assassinate” pro-Hamas activist Nerdeen Kiswani, The New York Times reported on Friday. Mayor Zohran Mamdani was "outraged" by the news. In a post on X, Mamdani placed the alleged plot in context of “an alarming rise in threats and violence across the country targeting Palestinian human rights advocates.”

As it turned out, this plot did not come from any established “pro-Israel terrorist group.” The “JDL 613 Brotherhood” is the brainchild of one Yisrael Yaacob Ben Avraham, who, according to his bio, is a former drug addict who converted from Catholicism, and set up this group that he titled after an organization whose name he seems to have come across on the Internet.[39]Dianne3000 (talk) 04:20, March 30, 2026 (EDT)

Nazis created a special institute to erase Jewish presence in Christianity

Nazis created an anti-Semitic Bible and Aryan Jesus. 3 Jul 2021 — Nazis created a special institute to erase Jewish presence in Christianity. The institute produced a Bible that omitted the Old Testament and Why the Nazis Burned the Hebrew Bible https://bigthink.com/the-past/nazis-anti-semitic-bible-aryan-jesus/

Why the Nazis Burned the Hebrew Bible. 1 Jun 2014 — By burning the Bible in public, the Nazis made everyone complicit in a transgressive act. https://www.commentary.org/articles/confino-alon/why-the-nazis-burned-the-hebrew-bible/Dianne3000 (talk) 03:18, April 1, 2026 (EDT)

Commentary doesn't mention that before Kristallnacte a young Jewish Frenchman had just killed the highest-ranked German public official in France just to prove Judeans were entitled to echo what provoked World War I and get away with it, to show the Germans who was boss. As clannish as the Judeans are, there was probably little objection among their community. VargasMilan (talk) Saturday, 17:26, April 4, 2026 (EDT)
Some people preen about their ability to probe the psychology of pre-War German citizens, but when you consider the mess the Judeans made of Russia and the surrounding countries in their newly-Soviet form and how every Judean was a likely informer due to some peculiar and clannish way they beancounted what they regarded as an honor affront in doing anything against Stalin at all, you might believe it had a bigger effect. Passive-aggression and her daughters

I thought I read Andy once say "There's no such thing as being passive-aggressive; they're opposites!"

What's not more generally known is that the aggression in passive-aggression is generally hidden aggression so their object is not aware of the aggressive manoeuvers.

It comes in many forms. Here are three:

Passive elitism
Passive domination
Passive accumulation: e.g. knowingly passing along loaded language that only benefits one side of the argument.

The forms can exist in various combinations. VargasMilan (talk) Saturday, 15:31, April 4, 2026 (EDT)

Fact left out of George Floyd entry

Ann Coulter reported on an incident where a Minneapolis rookie police officer recruited from the Somali immigrant community negligently handled a department-issued firearm, shooting and killing an older white woman who had reported a minor incident to a station.

Ann Coulter has a large readership and alerted a public unaware that there even was a large Minneapolis Somali immigrant community.

After the George Floyd event took place, it might have occurred to many of Ann Coulter's readers that those Somali immigrants voted in Somali Congressmember Ilhan Omar. She may have been selected for the job to add cognitive dissonance to the Somali cut-and-run foreign policies, like in Somalia, of the Clinton Administration, over which Hillary Clinton had an outsized influence, that eventually led to the Twin Towers attack. And the Somali immigrants may have been brought in to prove she had at least some natural constituency.

It might also have occurred to them that these same Somali immigrants in Minneapolis would have taken most of the low-end jobs there, leaving George Floyd with few job opportunities.

So these same Coulter readers might have reckoned that George Floyd's death was directly caused by this otherwise unexplained immigration.

But instead it served as a threat of bodily harm to the election judges deciding Trump's election disputes, because the riots were carried down to one month before the election.

The person who runs Coulter's account on X.com knows about this, but that's another story. VargasMilan (talk) Saturday, 18:57, April 4, 2026 (EDT)

Iran International reported that the IDF commando units Shaldag and Sayeret Matkal took part in the American operation to rescue the F-15 navigator whose aircraft was shot down in Iran.[44]. Danny Haiphong? He's an American of Vietnamese descent who lives in New Jersey.
Latest reports say 20 American's were killed in the "rescue effort". Actually, it looks more and more like the "Combat Search and Rescue" effort was cover for a failed raid on Natanz to secure enriched uranium. And it is simple enough to see: you don't send a C-130, let alone two (which carry 100 men each) on a CSAR. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 00:03, April 6, 2026 (EDT)
Source for "20 American's were killed"?

IDF intelligence, strikes helped US rescue downed pilot, sources told the 'Post'. Throughout the tense 48-hour window, IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and US Central Command Commander Admiral Brad Cooper remained in direct contact. By Amichai Stein. April 5, 2026... the IDF, acting in cooperation with US forces, launched a series of strikes against Iranian targets. These strikes were strategically designed to act as a diversion, drawing Iranian security forces away from the crash site and toward other areas. In addition to the diversionary tactics, the IDF targeted specific Iranian assets with the intent to sabotage and disrupt Tehran’s race toward the pilots, blinding the Iranian military partially to the pilots’ location while the extraction team moved in. https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/article-892170Telling (talk) 03:28, April 6, 2026 (EDT)

Source? Iran, of course, They haven't totally destroyed their credibility as the US, Israel and Ukraine have. If anything, they kept their word about closing Hormuz, as they promised for the past 10 years, if attacked. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 10:41, April 6, 2026 (EDT)
Iran? Nobody really thinks they are 100% destroyed, but 80% probably. Trump's exaggerated language stems from his history. So is his: "never seen before" phrases.

More about Iran's propaganda.. as soon as the toll of "80,000" dead by the regime in Jan 2026 protests was widely reported on Australia... the Iranian Red Cross controlled by the IRGC came up with a number "80,000 civilian targets", see who has been parotting / reposted this (numbers games) line, most: pro Iran and Chinese outlets. With variations: 80k sites/locations/units, etc.

We understand that the Islamic Republic targets civilians, just like "Palestine" Genocidal Gaza Regime [GGG] or its Hezbollah.

But throughout the 5 weeks since Epic Fury / Roaring Lion the vast Goliath [75 to 80 times larger than Israel] Republic has been pounding tiny Israel's residents especially with cluster bombs, how come no military targets have been hit?

Disregard anything originating from Islamic Republic propaganda as it is controlling the "info", who imposed an internet ban on all Iranians. VS open societies like US/Israel/Europe. If anything substantiate which Iran brags about really happened, it would have been widely reported inside and outside Israel . [46]Dianne3000 (talk) 11:16, April 6, 2026 (EDT)

There's still a lot of unknowns in this story. For example, the colonel riding in the backseat evidently was in charge of the operation to extract the uranium. Then the 2 C-130s. The first C-130, according to CENTCOM, "got stuck in the mud" where there is no mud, so a second C-130 was sent in to ferry out the 100-member extraction team, or maybe it carried in another 100 men. Either way, there may be 100-200 men in Operation Boots-on-the-Ground unaccounted for.
Other reports say 76 total aircraft were involved in this operation. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 12:15, April 6, 2026 (EDT)

Don't know if it's definitive, but we're hearing more and more the word "ambush" when the C-130s got on the ground. The role of the Ayatollah (meaning something like "Learned teacher") as a spiritual advisor and teacher is greatly distorted and misunderstood in the US. In Presidential politics, he reads a background report on each presidential candidate and approves or disapproves of their fitness for running and serving in office.
