Gary Lineker
Gary Lineker is an English former association footballer, sports television broadcaster and leftist virtue signaler. Described by GB News in June 2022 as "the ultimate hypocrite", he has ignored his own advice on coronavirus and regularly preaches about equality and diversity despite living in one of the UK's whitest areas.
History
Career
Lineker began his career as a professional association footballer in 1978 at his home club of Leicester City, where he finished in 1985 as the First Division's top goalscorer. A year before he left Leicester, Lineker made his debut for the England national team. He then joined league champions Everton where he won both the PFA Players' Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year awards in his debut season. He was top goalscorer in the 1986 FIFA World Cup, being awarded the Golden Boot. As part of Barcelona, he won the 1987-1988 Copa del Rey and the 1989 European Cup Winners' Cup. He joined Tottenham Hotspur in 1989, and won his second FWA Footballer of the Year and won the FA Cup, his first and only major trophy in English football. He was integral to England's progression to the semi-finals of the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Lineker's final club was Nagoya Grampus Eight; he retired in 1994 after two seasons at the Japanese side.
Retirement, leftist virtue signalling and hypocrisy
Lineker appeared in January 2015 at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.[1]
In October 2020 at the height of the CCP pandemic, Lineker showed his hypocrisy and arrogance by not wearing a face mask inside a UK shop despite promoting the action heavily online.[2]
In response to Roe v Wade being overturned, Lineker tweeted on 3 May 2022 that "Women should decide on what’s right for women, not men".[3] This is despite the fact that the entire court who decided Roe v Wade in 1973 consisted of straight, white males.
Despite being white, Lineker claimed on 21 June 2022 to have experienced racist discrimination for having slightly dark skin.[4] Lineker has never named the individuals who allegedly racially abused him.
Gary Lineker was accused of hypocrisy when broadcasting from the November 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, despite appearing on BBC News to talk about the lack of human rights in that country.[5]
On 14 December 2022, Lineker branded the USA "an extraordinarily racist country". This is despite the fact that PragerU actually found the US to be one of the least racist countries in the world.[6][7]
On 8 March 2023, Gary Lineker mendaciously compared the UK government's border security policy to the actions of Nazi Germany.[8]
Politics
Described by Paul Joseph Watson as the "Queen of Virtue Signalling", Lineker is a blatantly liberal man and a champagne socialist who has aligned himself with numerous politically correct and far-left causes.[9] He appeared in a propaganda video promoting open borders, despite failing to show up to a rally in support of refugees in 2016.
He supported the failed campaign for Britain to remain a part of the globalist European Union in the 2016 EU membership referendum.[10]
