Barbara Levy Boxer, born November 11, 1940 (age 85), a San Francisco-liberal gun grabbing Democrat, former U.S. Senator, and registered agent of the People's Republic of China under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.[1] Boxer announced her retirement from the U.S. Senate from California when her term expired in 2017. Boxer is generally considered to be more liberal than the average Democrat, particularly on abortion and gun control.[2] She has served as Chair of the Senate's Environment and Public Works Committee and Chief Deputy Whip in Majority. In June, 2009 she let it be known for the record that she does not wish to be referred to as "Ma'am".[3]
