Two notes

Hi Telling, I started a stub for an article on Holocaust trivialization if you'd like to add on to it. Since your massive additions properly cover numerous examples of Arab antisemites trivializing the Holocaust, perhaps you can move some content from the larger articles there and replace those sections with a {{main|Holocaust trivialization}}.

We could probably use a bio sketch on Naftali Bennett. Much of it could be filed in with paragraphs of content you've added elsewhere.

There is no doubt that Biden has been meddling there. Mark Levin of FoxNews exposed much of it. IMHO I'm not sure if it's just ColorRevolution. If that term includes any mass intervention than it is so. This meddling began under Obama 0.1...a note about "pro palestinians", in truth, almost none of these really care about that Arab group. Yah, that's my expectation, too. Nobody (not even the Dems) wants Kamala. This means the House hearings have to dragged out almost through the primaries or when (however) Biden gets the boot. 2024 is an open seat election right now.

What do you know about the DEBUNKED Khazar–myth?

Hi Telling, since you're an expert on Judaism and Jewry, I presume you've heard of the argument before that contends Ashkenazi Jews are primarily descended from Khazars instead of ancient Judeans. Based off what the Jewish Encyclopedia says, it almost sounds as if modern-day "white" Jews are descendants of Russian Jews who were ethnic Khazar converts into the Talmudic sect of Judaism (commonly mistaken as "Pharisaism," which opposed Hellenization). Is this accurate, from your understanding?

Also, I'm aware of the fact that the Khazar argument is commonly abused by various antisemitic propagandists for moronic reasons, though would it be accurate to say that promulgation of the Khazar–Ashkenazi narrative is automatically indicative of antisemitism? For example, I see some Christian leaders such as Prof. Walter J. Veith in his King of the North II lecture and the author(s) of this book contend that Ashkenazi Jews trace their lineage to Khazars, though they don't come off as antisemitic.

Now, in the Veith lecture, he unfortunately resorts to quoting Benjamin H. It was originally a theory by a non historian Jew to repel anti Semitism in Europe linked to the death of Jesus.

But it was debunked (not just because of DNA). Ironically, today it's used against Jews to deny links to Israel. I can't say I've done any extensive research on the linguistic and/or ethnic origins of Ashkenazi Jews to reach an absolutely determinate position on this issue; what I can say in the meantime though is that at the end of the day, the truth doesn't inherently lead to good; the truth can be used for righteous causes or twisted into negative, malicious intents. Hi Telling, around last year I read this article about Sunday laws. Do you happen to know much on the history of Sunday laws and antisemitism? I know that during antiquity, the apostate "Christian" Sunday laws during the time of Constantine was rooted in anti-Jewish bigotry, though have yet to find sufficient quality sources. What about also in the paganism-ridden city of Alexandria, for example? Thanks for the sources, Telling; as for "Christian anti-Semitism," my research has indicated that much of the antisemitism in "Christianity" has little to do with a proper understanding of the New Testament and is the result of pagan, occultist, Gnostic influence. (now yes, there's the common "the Jews killed Jesus" argument, which falls flat when one realizes that the Greek term "hoi Ioudaios" does not translate simply to "the Jews" but rather means "the Judeans") For example, in the early Apostolic Era (2nd century), the Apostolic Fathers exemplified religiously motivated anti-Judaism against non-Christian Jews, and were strongly opposed to the highly antisemitic Gnosticism promulgator Marcion. Similarly, it was the apocryphal Epistle of Barnabas that promoted flagrant antisemitism, which the early apostolic church was not so quick to seep into, given the existence of Jewish Christians.
I've found some clues, though don't feel like I've fully connected the dots yet. For example, it's interesting and probably not too coincidental that the serpent seed theory, almost certainly invented by Gnostics, has been promoted by apostate, pseudochristian white supremacist cults. And yet, the serpent seed theory is blamed as a form of "Christian" antisemitism despite directly contradicting Genesis.

Hi Telling, I recall a while ago reading and watching conservative Christian lecturers and activists explain that according to the Babylonian Talmud, God finally sent the Great Flood because the sinful majority of mankind allowed same-sex "marriage." Before I look it up, first of all, the wording in Genesis 6:12 includes this... among other...

It's not in the main structure of the Talmud but in a Midrash (Vayikra Raba 23). But it's again, an interpretation of the verse I quoted. As the Talmud is an expansion and interpretation of the Tanakh (What Christians call OT). Tip, I must add a point re the Talmud. At times, it might be complicated to clarify certain phrases for someone who is not used with its termonlohy and context.Telling (talk)

Digression a bit: the Book of Daniel

Another point since I'm asking about the Talmud: is there any basis, at least from your perspective, to suspect that the Talmud attempts to discredit the Book of Daniel to a certain extent since chapter 9 foretells the coming of the Messiah? For example, it appears that Daniel isn't listed as a prophet.

And the other argument I've seen is this probably fake quote, propagated by some Christian lecturers like Prof. W. J. Veith (just as a warning: that section of the Veith lecture is kinda harsh and may come off antisemitic):

“ May the bones of the hands and bones of the fingers decay and decompose of him who turns the pages of the book of Daniel, to find out the time of Daniel 9:24–27, and may his memory rot from off the face of the earth forever. ”

—allegedly "Talmudic Law, p. 978, sec. 2, line 28"

Now, the actual quote I found is this:

“ Rabbi Shmuel bar Naḥmani says that Rabbi Yonatan says: May those who calculate the end of days be cursed [tippaḥ], as they would say once the end of days that they calculated arrived and the Messiah did not come, that he will no longer come at all. ”

In General, any interpretations, Chabad is reliable, Sefaria - not always. In some cases they distort. As to misinterpreting texts in Talmud in order to use it to rationalize already-established-hate, that is unfortunately old news.

You quoted one location about not to calculate. As to defining these particular groups (current Iranian regime /Hamas/PIJ/Hezbollah) of people-ideology as Amalek, Me, little guy, is not authorized in deciding so. For instance, on the issue of abortion, the ADL selectively harps over a few "right-wing" antisemites and mentions nothing about Planned Parenthood's original antisemitic associations (Sanger appointed KKK proto-Nazi Lothrop Stoddard to the ABCL), last I checked (correct me if I'm wrong). But overall, crime has been going down for about 30 years in my city. Sometimes rough neighborhoods persist for decades like in Chicago, but improvements can be made over time. As Israel takes out more and more missile launchers, Iran's fighting and negotiating power will grow worse. Here is an interesting political betting market: 51% chance of Khamenei out as Supreme Leader of Iran in 2025. That seems about right. Revolutions do happen and leaders do flee their countries (Marcos in the Philippines), but on the other hand, authoritarian leaders like to cling to power. Interesting info I came across relating to Israel

I found some interesting information relating to Israel. I suspect part of this phenomenon is due to Orthodox Jews or other religious Jews reading the Torah, the prophets and Old Testament books.

Then you are faced with the problem of forcing water drainage uphill, etc. In more temperate climates, you can have below ground sewage drainage, but in most "middle income" or "lower income" countries (to use contemporary Marxist academic rhetoric) you have "squatty potties", but you still have to use a "scooper" to wash your butt cause the supply of water and toilet paper is costly and limited.
