Stephen Kotkin is a neoconservative Russophobe who regularly writes for leftist fake news and globalist rags such as The New Republic, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post and Financial Times. Kotkin is a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, a key platform for neoconservative thought and its evolution in American public policy.[1] He also is a commentator for the leftist broadcast news outlets NPR and the BBC.

Kotkin claims the United States "won the peace" in the Vietnam war,[2] after the US fled under disastrous circumstances and Vietnam remains an atheistic communist state more than a half century later.

Kotkin is a frequent critic of President Trump[3] and describes Trump as a destructive influence on the United States.[4]
