Will Trump return to social media on his own platform?
Up to now, Jason Miller has been an obscure staffer who made headlines mainly for scandals. He doesn't even have a Conservapedia article. But here is his story, for what it is worth: "Trump's grand return to social media: Longtime advisor reveals former president will unveil his own platform in coming months that will 'completely redefine the game'.
If I were Trump, I would have switched to Parler after Twitter did its first "fact check" back in May.[1] By the time of the "stop the steal" rally, his account would have had a giant following. Our real president, Jill Biden
Joe Biden is falling down the steps of Air Force One (three times!) and sinking into incoherence. So who is really in charge these days? This article argues that it's Jill Biden. Unlike previous first ladies, Jill doesn't focus on any specific area. Instead, she speaks with authority on administration policy generally. Anyone who has read her thesis will find the idea that she is charge of anything to be a frightening thought. We don't actually know much about her thinking. The 25th Amendment was adopted to prevent this kind of "Edith Wilson situation" from happening again. Edith was the wife of President Woodrow Wilson and unconstitutionally filled in as "steward" when her husband was disabled by a stroke from October 1919 to March 1921. - Here is a fake video of Kamala reacting to Biden repeatedly falling. Biden was pretty hard on Trump after the West Point ramp incident in 2015, so don't feel sorry for him.
- The fiasco that ensued when Secretary of State Anthony Blinken met with the Chinese in Anchorage suggests that nobody is at the wheel, at least as far as foreign policy goes. Liberals are too busy patting themselves on the back to treat what happened as a problem. According WaPo, "China may be right" to attack America as they did in Anchorage.
- Some reports have suggested that the administration let the Anchorage talks fall apart because they don't think Biden is up to a summit with Xi. I guess blaming your incompetent secretary of state is better than blaming your president's mental decline. But those aren't the only two possibilities. PeterKa (talk) 09:21, 23 March 2021 (EDT)
- It's official. Transition to the Biden/Harris administration has begun. As to foreign policy, no one has ever given much credit to any Democrat individual or administration as an expert, or for a success, going at least as far back as Charles Dawes. Democrats simply are incapable of separating foreign policy from domestic political partisanship. RobSFree Kyle! 12:31, 23 March 2021 (EDT)

- In recent years, beginning with Hillary Clinton (a former Republican) and later the ascension of John Kerry and now Joe Biden, Democrats supposedly are foreign policy experts. But in all cases we know their foreign policy "expertise" is nothing but personal greed and opportunism. Virtually all Republican administrations in the 20th century since Harding were elected precisely because of Democrat foreign policy incompetence and disasters (Harding because Democrats failed to "make the world safe for democracy" and economic impact of running up the national debt in WWI under a gold standard where you can't print your way out of a deficit), Ike over Korea, Nixon over Vietnam, Reagan over Iran and the Soviet bloc. Democrat foreign policy disasters and incompetence always carry with it a severe economic component, like higher energy prices and inflation. RobSFree Kyle! 13:00, 23 March 2021 (EDT)

What happens when whites become a minority
With the recent surge of illegal border crossings, we must ask what America will be like when whites are no longer the majority. In Theodore Roosevelt's time, immigrants were seen as contributing to the "melting pot" of America. But today's left rejects this assimilationist approach. It celebrates immigration, both legal and illegal, as a step toward multiculturalism. But multiculturalism is incompatible with democracy, which assumes a voting bloc of people with a common culture. When the Dems can't get a majority among Americans, they bring in people from other countries to vote for them. That's multiculturalism for you. But it is not democracy.
So what happens in multicultural states? Even those that work do not have political structures we would want to emulate. Singapore is a nice, modern city and all. But its politics is all about handing out goodies by race in order to prevent race riots. Each ethnic group votes for someone of its own ethnicity. No prospect is scarier for the city than that of a genuinely contested election.
That's the optimistic end of the multicultural scale. There is also Lebanon, where ethnic warfare between Christians, Sunnis, and Shiites has led to thuggish interventions by Syria and Iran. Separate states for separate peoples was a central cause for 19th century liberals. It was the proudest achievement of the Allies in World War I. PeterKa (talk) 07:59, 24 March 2021 (EDT)
- There is no white race. It's a wholey fictitious invention. People of European stock come from at least 3 major racial backgrounds, Latin or Mediterranean (which itself is a mixed group including Arabs), Germanic, and Slavic. Any European is well aware of these racial distinctions.
- The notion of a "white race" derives from the original U.S. Constitution which granted voting rights to "white males" and mandated a census every 10 years for apportionment. Unfortunately, even after passage of the 15th Amendment, the Census Bureau has continued now for 150 years to collect data and classify people by race. RobSFree Kyle! 08:13, 24 March 2021 (EDT)

For awhile, class/money and ideology will still play a big part. But knows how long? I hope I am wrong, but I see a lot of potential disharmony in the future. Africa is a very religious continent (see: Religion and Africa). A study conducted by the Washington-based Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life says that Africans are among the most religious people on Earth.[7] It's population is expected to double by 2050.[8]
Pew Research said in 2019: "Africa is the only world region projected to have strong population growth for the rest of this century. Between 2020 and 2100, Africaâs population is expected to increase from 1.3 billion to 4.3 billion. Projections show these gains will come mostly in sub-Saharan Africa, which is expected to more than triple in population by 2100. The regions that include the United States and Canada (Northern America) and Australia and New Zealand (Oceania) are projected to grow throughout the rest of the century, too, but at slower rates than Africa."[9]
Many Africans are expected to emigrate to secular Europe both legally and illegally (see: Religion and migration).

They are coming for your guns
A Syrian refugee kills ten white Americans at a supermarket in Boulder. That's a hard one to blame on white supremacy. So here we go again: "White House Weighs Executive Orders on Gun Control" (NYT). The U.S. had 10,258 homicides in 2019. Of these, handguns killed 6,368, knives 1,476, and rifles 364. See "FBI Data Shows Knives Kill More People Than Rifles." Yet liberals focus on "assault rifles" and claim that stop-and-frisk is racist. That's because they don't have actually have anything against guns, just conservatives with guns who might stand in the way of the woke revolution. PeterKa (talk) 00:33, 25 March 2021 (EDT)
- CNN is promoting this as "seven shootings in seven days." There have of course been a lot more than seven shootings, especially if you are counting individual murders (as CNN does). If you run the numbers I gave above, America has 197 murders (10258/52) in an average week.
- Isn't more law enforcement the logical response to a crime spree? People who do not respect the law against murder are not going to follow gun control laws. With 300 million guns in circulation, no other country has anything like the level of per capita firearms that the U.S. has. Have the libs thought about how to deal with all those guns without provoking a civil war? Perhaps that's the point. This could be Waco all over again, a bad liberal idea that never dies. Who's Jim Eagle?
Although polls show that 70 percent of Americans support the idea of requiring identification to vote,[10] Biden wants you to know that you are a racist if you think this way. At his first press conference, Biden explained that Republican laws that require voters to show ID are so awful that they will "make Jim Crow look like 'Jim Eagle'". Say what? The name "Jim Crow" is from a buffoonish minstrel character popular in the 1830s. Yet Biden interprets the reference to suggest that crows are mean to black people while eagles are more broadminded.
You need identification for everything these days. Is Biden suggesting that only white people carry it? Frankly, that sounds a little racist. If black people don't carry ID, perhaps that's the problem should be dealt with first. PeterKa (talk) 09:20, 26 March 2021 (EDT)

Biden's first press conference
IMO, the takeaway from Biden's first press conference is that he has declined mentally since his last major performance, the debate with Trump in October. The press conference has traditionally been seen as the forum in which the American people get to see if their president can think on his feet. By that standard, Biden was cheating. The questions and the order they were asked in were arranged so that all Biden had to do was read from cards. Even when he was obviously reading from the wrong card, the media was too polite to notice.
Biden preposterously blamed Trump for the border crisis, as if Trump was supposed to get everything ready so Biden could just open the border on day one. Hey, Biden! The overwhelming majority of American don't want to increase immigration in any form. If we did want more immigrants, the solution would be to issue more visas. Letting undocumented foreigners surge across the border opens the door to terrorists, gangsters, disease, and child trafficking. The number of unaccompanied minors crossing the border is now at a record high. They aren't walking from Honduras on their own.
The press is not doing enough for Biden as far as he is concerned. It will get access to border facilities when his "plan is underway." This is a remarkably blunt way to reject transparency. Time up for the filibuster?
Biden has appointed Gayle Conelly Manchin, wife of Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) to the Appalachian Regional Commission. So Biden and Manchin have apparently made a deal. Manchin is getting pork for West Virginia. It's not clear what Biden gets in exchange, but presumably the end of the filibuster. There are legitimate issues with supermajority requirements and the filibuster in general. But the Democrats don't make those arguments. Instead, they argue that the filibuster is racist. This is a transparently bogus argument designed to shut down logic and reason. The Dems were big supporters of the procedure not long ago. They have turned against it because they see an opportunity to impose one-party rule. If they can federalizing elections with HR 1 and admit DC as a state, they can make sure Republicans never win another election.
Biden supported the filibuster for fifty years. In an epic defense in 2005, he claimed that ending the procedure 'upsets the constitutional design' and would 'eviscerate the Senate.' He still supported the filibuster when he ran for president in 2020. In fact, there was no issue that he was more passionate about. This and the Hyde Amendment was about all Biden ever had as far as political principle went. Yet at the press conference on March 25, Biden denounced the filibuster as a "relic of Jim Crow." Wait a minute, here. So Biden has been a racist for the last fifty years? See this National Review article.
In the course of it's history, the filibuster has been used by senators of every ideology. In the 19th century, filibusters could be ended by majority vote using procedures such as appeal to the chair and suspending the rules. The "cloture" rule was adopted in 1917. This rule required a two-thirds vote to end a filibuster. The "two-track" or "silent" filibuster was created by Majority Leader Mike Mansfield, a Montana Democrat, in 1970. The Senate reduced the requirement for cloture to 60 votes in 1975, right after the Dems won a sweeping victory in the post-Watergate midterms. So the current version of the filibuster has an impeccably liberal pedigree. PeterKa (talk) 09:12, 27 March 2021 (EDT)
- The Manchin family has quite a sleazy track record. Daughter Heather Bresch got a job as CEO of Mylan, a Dutch pharmaceutical company, despite her fake MBA. - Out with the filibuster means a return to the pre-Calhoun/Henry Clay/Daniel Webster era. This means also out with the Sam Rayburn unanimous consent agreements, which is the only remaining filibuster. Any motion before a body of equals has to be voted on. RobSFree Kyle! 15:52, 27 March 2021 (EDT)

Philippines, China clash over reef
The longstanding disputes in the South China Sea have come to boil at Whitsun Reef. Last week, this tiny reef was occupied by 220 Chinese "maritime marine" vessels. There was a similar confrontation over Scarborough Shoal in 2012. The Philippines didn't have a navy worth mentioning at that time. But they have commissioned two frigates in the last few months. Here is a Filipino perspective: "Blinken: US stands with PH after Chinese ships spotted in Juan Felipe Reef."
The islands of the South China Sea are largely uninhabitable, so this is all about the trade routes. They were unclaimed until 1933. In 2016, an international court rejected China's claims and ruled that the sea was international waters. U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued a statement in July 2020 that essentially made this ruling the U.S. position.[11]
What options does the U.S. have? First off, English-language naming conventions are created by the U.S. Board of Geographic Names. It would cost us nothing to rename the South China Sea as the "West Philippine Sea," as the Filipinos already call it.[12] This is after all a body of water that lies between Taiwan, Vietnam, and the Philippines. It is a significant distance from the Chinese mainland. The Taiwanese have offered to let the U.S. station forces at Taiping Island, the principle island in the disputed area. If China continues down its current confrontational path, that's something we should consider.
To confront the entire world at once, as China is doing, is a puzzling strategy. Philippine President Duterte would much rather be China's friend. China is also confronting Vietnam over the Spratlies, sending fighter jets across to median line to threaten Taiwan, and boycotting Australian exports. The most serious of the recent confrontations is between China and India over the Himalayan border. (There is nothing worth fighting over in the Himalayas, besides national pride.) China against the world is a recurring theme in history. The scholars call it "anti-foreignism." Both Mao and Empress Dowager Cixi followed this strategy, so it must resonate with public opinion.
Then again, perhaps there is method to Xi Jinping's madness. This all started with the crackdown on Hong Kong. Integrating Hong Kong is a project dear to Xi's heart. Xi rose to power as a protege of Zeng Qinghong, who tried and failed to impose a communist system on Hong Kong in the 2003 "Article 23" crisis. The threat to the city has become more brutal and urgent in recent weeks. Yet with China confronting so many countries on so many different fronts, Hong Kong has nearly slipped out of the headlines. - It's been common knowledge for many years the PRC plans to take Taiwan by 2021; it is also common knowledge May and October or the two best months to carry out the operation due to weather conditions. RobSFree Kyle! 16:36, 1 April 2021 (EDT)
- April and October, I think you mean. For the landing scenario to work, China would have to expand its amphibious landing capabilities. There is no indication that they are doing that. There are only a few places on Taiwan that are suitable for an amphibious landing. To counter the threat of a landing, Trump approved the sale of Reaper drones to Taiwan just before he left office. The Chinese have been doing the scary invasion talk thing since Tiananmen in 1989. It is addressed to the domestic audience and tells you nothing about their real intentions. China is the midst of imposing a new election system on Hong Kong. So this is a delicate moment in terms of internal Chinese politics.
- There are fourteen beaches on Taiwan that are considered suitable for a landing. The point of a landing would be to seize an airfield, so that narrows it down further. The Taiwanese focus on two beaches in Taoyuan in the north and three beaches in Tainan in the south.[13] So the four Reaper drones that the U.S. has sold to Taiwan pretty much covers it. PeterKa (talk) 10:41, 2 April 2021 (EDT)
- The assault will have to be principally an airborne assault by paratroopers with amphibious landings to supply equipment, hence the role of U.S. Supercarriers to counter an airborne assault. The wildcard is Joe Biden. The deployment of the maritime militia to the South China Sea spreads out the defense of a carrier task force. RobSFree Kyle! 14:33, 2 April 2021 (EDT)

Since the sinking of H.M.S Sheffield in the South Atlantic by Argentina during the Falklands War by an Exocet missile in 1982, some have questioned the wastefulness and foolishness of this deterrent policy. There have been numerous technical improvements (not just in missile technology) since then, including Chinese ability to kidnap American satellites in space and return them to Earth to steal and copy American technology. Vermont governor is openly racist
I think this should be added to the main page since this GOP governor is clearly not either Conservative, Libertarian or Classical Liberal and should 100% not be in the Republican Party. Note that what he did is openly-racist is not allowing âvaccinationsâ against SARS-CoV-2 in the state of Vermont to white people with some exemptions. Hereâs the video on it by Tim Pool: https://youtu.be/Qx3lj1YCoCM
- I'm sorry. You should be more specific before throwing around the racism label. What is he being racist about? Not allwong whites the vaccine, or using non-whites as guinea pigs? And how does that differ from policies all over the United States? RobSFree Kyle! 17:05, 2 April 2021 (EDT)
I shouldâve been more specific; what he was racist on was/is not allowing whites access to the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine based purely on having white skin, a different protected characteristic although Iâm sure other policies exist like this but without being so openly racist but yes I understand that racism is just a mostly meaningless term these days thanks to the political left in the western world effectively making it meaningless... User:William Clifton 4/APRIL/2021
- It'll shift. In a few years when the plandemic is fully exposed, he'll be called racist for protecting whites and using people of color as guinea pigs for an untested and dangerous vaccine. This ultimately is what happens when you open the Pandora's box of identity politics and make it your number one issue. RobSFree Kyle! 21:07, 4 April 2021 (EDT)
- Liberals still think that carbon dioxide is destroying the world, but somehow it's no longer a major issue, at least not compared to "systematic racism." Someone should ask Biden if he is still a racist now like he was back when he supported the filibuster, which was only a couple of weeks ago. If not, how did he overcome racism? I think it would be a useful lesson to us all. Perhaps a twelve-step program can be developed based on his experience. PeterKa (talk) 08:33, 5 April 2021 (EDT)
Corporate America comes out against voter ID
We used to worry about corporations using political donations to get favored candidates elected. With major corporations leading an all-out offensive against America's election system, that type of concern seems quaint: "Delta, Coca-Cola blast home state Georgia's voting restrictions as 'unacceptable'." Yes, corporate America, including Major League Baseball, is taking a stand against voter identification laws. And it is ready to boycott the state of Georgia and anyone else who stands in the way. The CEOs weren't all that concerned about this issue until a week ago. They have presumably been strong armed by the Dems and the White House.
Biden has denounced Georgia's law as "Jim Crow on steroids." The Dems won elections under regular old Jim Crow, so I guess that wasn't so bad from Biden's point of view. Yet voter ID has overwhelming support in the polls. Georgia's election law is hardly unique. So what explains the level of outrage? Well, Georgia is a crucial swing state, for one thing. The Dems obviously think that defeating voting security laws is a key to winning more elections. The cynic in me says that they are planning to commit fraud on a grand scale.
Tucker Carlson is the man of the hour. In this video, he rips Biden for leading the charge to boycott Georgia, but not China. PeterKa (talk) 07:43, 3 April 2021 (EDT)

Chauvin and the corruption of science
What killed George Floyd? Hennepin County Chief Medical Examiner Andrew Baker doesn't explain it in so many words. But the logical conclusion based on his report is that Floyd died of a drug overdose, not police brutality. His blood had a fentanyl level of 11 ng/mL. According to the report, âdeaths have been certified with levels of 3.â Fentanyl was only one of the drugs that Baker found in Floyd's blood. There was also norfentanyl, 4-ANPP, methamphetamine, cannabinoids, amphetamines, and morphine. I guess he was pretty intent on suicide.
Baker is careful to add, âI am not saying this killed him.â This is woke America after all. Scientists are too afraid to explain that the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is too low, 410 parts per million, to warm the Earth significantly. But the media can tell us how anti-science Republicans are. See "Derek Chauvin, Human Sacrifice" by Ann Coulter. PeterKa (talk) 16:09, 5 April 2021 (EDT)
- Last summer, the liberal media's line was that Floyd was an otherwise innocent black man who passed a counterfeit bill. Now we know that the incident was triggered by Floyd's drug-fuelled aggression. The story that triggered nationwide riots and demands to "defund the police" has been debunked, but the media still treats it as valid. PeterKa (talk) 00:19, 6 April 2021 (EDT)
- The Washington Post has a response to Coulter. The finest reporters in America couldn't rebut her on any substantive point. Instead, they denounce the "he's no angel" argument as racist. Judges generally don't allow discussion of a defendant's criminal history because this could have a "prejudicial effect." Pace WaPo, this has nothing to do with racism. In any case, Coulter didn't make an argument of this type. PeterKa (talk) 01:55, 8 April 2021 (EDT)

If you have ever wanted to run for election, think about it now. No support has shifted to the Dems since the last election, when the Dems retained control of the House by a narrow margin. Given historical patterns, the GOP is likely to have a turnout advantage in the midterms. A Harris candidacy in 2024 already sounds like a disaster, even if Biden is a successful president.

Is there a cheaper way to cool the climate?
What's the most cost effective way to cool the Earth? Most likely, it does not involve cutting carbon dioxide emissions. We can, for example, send soot into the atmosphere to block sunlight. We could also dump iron filings into the ocean to increase algae growth. Do either of these ideas work? The Biden administration has ended research that might give us the answer. See "Test Flight for Sunlight-Blocking Research Is Canceled." Why? "It could distract society from the goal of reducing emissions of planet-warming gases to avoid the worst effects of climate change," as the New York Times puts it. In other words, they are afraid that the idea will work. It was never about the climate. It was always about maximizing human suffering. PeterKa (talk) 09:04, 7 April 2021 (EDT)

Matt Gaetz
I'm coming out of my hiatus from CP editing because I'm incredibly disturbed about what's going on with Matt Gaetz right now.
I don't know if he's guilty or not; there's currently not enough hard evidence to establish guilt. But there's an elephant in the room that needs to be addressed. That elephant is the leaked texts between Dilbert creator Scott Adams and Israeli consulate media director Jake Novak, published by the American Conservative on April 2. In the texts, Novak acknowledges that he was involved in soliciting money from Gaetz's father as part of efforts to free FBI agent Robert Levinson, who had been held prisoner in Iran since 2007. Novak denies that he had any knowledge of the allegations against Gaetz until Adams told him about it, and also claims that Gaetz had the images establishing extortion doctored in order to cover himself.
Then it gets even more bizarre. Among the images Gaetz took and released to the public as part of his unofficial counterclaim, is that of an alleged text from former Air Force intelligence officer Bob Kent demanding $25 million from Gaetz's father... sent in March of 2021, a whole year after Levinson's death was announced by his family. Of course, in the same text Kent alleges that Levinson was in fact still alive in the summer of 2020 and may still be alive today, hence the continued efforts to free him.[14]
In light of these revelations, the following questions need to be asked:
1) Was there extortion going on?
2) If the answer to question #1 is "yes," was Novak involved in the efforts to extort?
3) If the answer to question #2 is "yes," was Novak acting on behalf of the Israeli government, his employer?
4) If the answer to question #3 is "yes," what would the Israeli government have to gain from Bob Levinson, a non-Israeli, being freed?
5) Is Bob Levinson still alive?
6) If the answer to question #5 is "no," did the alleged extortion team actually believe otherwise?
7) If the answer to question #6 is "no," what else would the alleged extortion team need $25 million for?
8) Why did the alleged extortion team seek money from Matt Gaetz's father of all people?
I know I can only speculate at this time, but my gut feeling is that this is part of a wider conspiracy to destroy Gaetz's career. After all, he's a prominent critic of American foreign policy in the Middle East. He's anti-Saudi, he opposes war with Iran, he's called George W. Bush a war criminal, and he's repeatedly attacked Liz Cheney over her foreign policy positions. Oh, and did I mention that he's mentioned the corrupting influence of the petrodollar on national television? All of those things are enough to really, really upset the foreign policy establishment, which has answered to Riyadh for nearly 50 years. And then of course there's Israel, who at this point is clearly in on the whole Saudi/neocon-led conspiracy to wage the fake "War on Terror" (because "Iran, Iran, Iran!").
But, who knows? I could be wrong about the whole thing (not about the fake "War on Terror" but about the Matt Gaetz situation). But the FBI needs to get down to the bottom of this... oh, wait. Never mind.--Geopolitician (talk) 19:28, 9 April 2021 (EDT)
Cancel culture takes a swing at Tucker Carlson
Liberal activists want Tucker Carlson, the most popular cable news host in history, taken off the air for using the term "replacement." I had thought this was a pretty everyday kind of word. I'm sure neo-Nazis use it and all, but so do other people. As I understand the media commentary, Tucker would have been way better off if he had used the N word. The word "replacement" is said to be a marker of "white supremacy." No one calls themselves a white supremacist. This is a group that exists only in the minds of the liberal media. When white nationalists demonstrated in support of Confederate statues in Charlottesville, they chanted, "Jews will not replace us."
The theme of Carlson's show was that migrants from Central America were replacing American citizens, not that Jews were replacing anyone. Liberals tell us that the world is overpopulated and that more people is a bad thing. So why do they want to bring migrants to the U.S.? See "ADL calls on Fox News to fire Tucker Carlson over racist comments about 'replacement' theory." Once a Jewish activist group, the ADL is now a subsidiary of Big Wokeness. Here it is going to bat for Biden and the Dems on an issue where there is no Jewish angle.
The Biden administration tells us that we need more immigration for "racial equity." How is this rationale different from "replacement theory"? It's just putting a positive spin on the same idea. PeterKa (talk) 11:14, 10 April 2021 (EDT)

First you have the MLB deciding to pull the All-Star Game out of Atlanta due to their new Voter ID laws. But as demonstrated, these "special sports events" (like the Super Bowl) actually LOSE money.
Now the film industry wants to pull out of Georgia as well. But guess what? "Film credits" (which many states offer) are just as bad on a fiscal budget as a sports event. Is the Constitution racist?
Is "white supremacy woven into our founding documents"? That's a quote from UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield. When Jen Psaki was asked if Biden "thinks our founding documents are racist," she certainly didn't deny it. She praised Thomas-Greenfield extravagantly and "let the comments speak for themselves." In short, the ambassador's views are more or less those of the administration. I got the sense that as far as Psaki is concerned, you're not allowed to criticize Thomas-Greenfield because she is a black woman. Candace Owens needs to get one of those Black woman recognition cards. See Powerline.

Reply at Quora: "As a former detective and as a person who suffers from being claustrophobic, there's a stark difference from having the freedom to come and go in your own car, as opposed to being restrained with handcuffs behind your back, for an unknown period of time, in the back of a hot police car, in the middle of July." - Scott Howard (claims to be a detective)[22]
Read the above news reports, read what the alleged detective said, and watch these videos:
Floyd shouldn't have given the clerk the fake bill or taken enough drugs to make him appear high (store clerk said Floyd appeared high).
Floyd may have had clausterphobia and the police could have tried to get him into a bigger vehicle.
I saw someone being arrested and he started kicking at the police car window. The police called an ambulance and restrained the suspect by strapping him into a gurner after the ambulance arrived. The suspect was then taken away in an ambulance. If Floyd's arresting officers did not like the fact that Floyd was writhing in the police car, they would have called an ambulance, etc. etc.
Floyd could have handled the situation better and he appeared to resist arrest. Floyd's cardiovascular system could have been better and the diet he ate partially clogged up his cardiovascular system. Floyd probably knew his cardiovascular system was somewhat messed up so he should not have escalulated the situation and he should have been more compliant. Ironically enough, Voltaire, for all of his reputation as the founding father of freedom of speech, could also be listed as the founding father of cancel culture based on his actions to the Jesuit order and, heck, all Christendom as well as soon as he and his buddies got control of the French Academy via proxy, based on what Timothy Dwight and Abbe Barruell stated. Derek Chauvin will now have plenty of time to dwell on the fact that the USA is not a police state. Also, Chauvin had 19 complaints against him in 18 years. All this has to be devastating to police recruiting, while training and use of force policies are "liberalized". RobSFree Kyle! 12:49, 23 April 2021 (EDT)
- The jury was intimidated by Maxine Waters and the mob. The conviction should be overturned on appeal, as Dershowitz has already argued. Although they must be aware of this and other issues with the verdict, the government, and liberals generally, are celebrating like they won the Superbowl. It's hard to see these people protecting a jury that renders a verdict they don't approve of. PeterKa (talk) 12:14, 23 April 2021 (EDT)
- Are we even sure it was his neck? For all we know, especially given a different angle that was shown recently, he could have just as easily put him on his shoulderblade. And regardless of whether or not he was a good cop or a corrupt cop, the fact of the matter is, he was subject to an up and out kangaroo court. What's gotten to you, Conservative? You've sounded too liberal lately, and Conservapedia simply cannot afford to sound more like the leftist Wikipedia. Pokeria1 (talk) 08:23, 23 April 2021 (EDT)
- The verdict will not stand beyond 10 years? I don't see police departments across the USA adopting putting a knee on a suspects neck and keeping it there for an extended time if he cries out that he cannot breathe. Too many policemen use common sense for that to happen. I have some information not publicly known about Derek Chauvin and this information indicates that Derek Chauvin acts like America is a police state. Derek Chauvin will now have plenty of time to dwell on the fact that the USA is not a police state. Also, Chauvin had 19 complaints against him in 18 years. I believe he was a bad cop protected by a police union. In addition, I know someone who is a Republican and he was a high ranking policeman. He said that what Chauvin did was inappropriate, but he was not sure how he would be charged.Conservative (talk) 01:53, 23 April 2021 (EDT)
RobS, your prediction is wrong. MNPLS is a liberal city. The judicial system is not going to go easy on Chauvin. Perhaps Chauvin read the book The Count of Monte Cristo and he will tunnel out of prison because they only way he will get out early.Conservative (talk) 06:45, 24 April 202hT

- Here is Dershowitz making the case to overturn the Chauvin verdict. I think it's time to apply modern technology to the court system. All trials should be videotaped. The judge can go through the tape, consider objections, and take out anything prejudicial. The jury watches the tape and deliberates. No need for sequestration. As Dershowitz argues in this segment, the judge should have asked the jurors if they felt intimidated. If they did, he can pick another jury and show the same trial tape to them. Everyone is involved and politicized, down to the smallest school child. It is mandatory. Rush Limbaugh used to joke about "being on the cutting edge of societal evolution", but going back to Hubert Humphrey, these people really believe they have a duty to be so. As does their Swedish brothers and sisters back in the mother country who are currently doing the same thing to destroy their own homeland in the name of liberalism and progress. Minnesota invented HMO's. A day did not go by in the I980's that did not hear that HMO's were wave of the future, the path to "universal coverage" (first time I ever heard the term) where non-profit collectives have cut out the middle man, i.e. insurance companies. - One in three U.S. adults has been arrested by age 23. Between 70 million and 100 million â or as many as one in three Americans â have some type of criminal record. 2.2 million Americans are in prison. And then there is bloated government with so many laws that the average citizen can't keep track of them. In additioin, there is over policing (There is a town near my area where police stop you for going 2 miles over the speed limit. This is a racket to generate government revenue).

I agree that a transfer of venue was warranted for such a high profile case. On the other hand, based on the private/public information I have about Derek Chauvin, I know he was not a great respecter of the public or the law. So it's hard for me to drum up much sympathy.
I have read that kneeling on a neck for an extended time is not a safe restraining move. I spoke to a high ranking ex-policeman's wife and she told me her husband said that what Chauvin did was not legitimate police procedure.

Last I checked, America was about giving people a fair trial, and NOT subjecting them to a Kangaroo court. As the head of Conservapedia, you of all people ought to know better than to parrot the liberal line. It sets a very bad precedent, and will just get cops to be outright neutered, maybe even have a situation where they're forced to not gun down a woman despite her clearly aiming to kill people like what happened a little while back. - Now now, we don't need ad hominems. We all saw the tape. Some people saw a cop kill a man without motive. I saw a cop, in a compromised position, confused when he felt threatened. The hold was legal, per MPD policy. His training didn't include how to get out of it when you're kneeling in traffic with an angry mob shouting at you. He decided to wait for the EMTs which was suppose to take 3 minutes. It took 9.
- The only legal question here is negligence. When a person feels threatened, and it's a 50/50 chance they may be seriously harmed or killed if they move, but they feel relatively safe if they remain in the same position, is it negligence if harm comes to another because they didn't take the 50% chance of placing themselves in harms way?
- We're not talking about what the policy and training should be or what it may be changed to later. We're talking about the facts on the ground at that date and time.
- And cooperation with the police would not put the alleged victim in the position they ended up in, as Floyd was offered a ride in the car. The original plan was not to have the EMTs haul him away, in whatever condition he ended up in. RobSFree Kyle! 07:42, 26 April 2021 (EDT)

God says,
- Whosoever sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed.
But he also makes provision for accidents:

Chauvin may have spent a portion of the time on his shoulderblade, but the witnesses testified and the video shows that Chauvin spent a considerable portion of the time on Floyd's neck. Kneeling on a guys neck when he is in the prone position for an extended time is foolhardy and reckless. In addition, police officers are trained to not have a suspect in the prone position (on their stomach) for an extended time, but rather have the person standing up, kneeling or at least lying on their side. Another Freeper decided to test the theory of someone's knee on their neck being fatal. He got someone to put a knee on his neck to see if it made him pass out and die, and after ten minutes, he was still alive!
- "So I take it from this experiment that a knee on the side of someone's neck won't kill. So if a knee on the side of a neck won't kill someone, how exactly did Chauvin kill Saint George?"
- The worst you can charge him with is manslaughter, not murder, and that's assuming Chauvin indeed was responsible for Floyd's death rather than Floyd himself.
- Bottomline: A policeman is not mandated to risk his life to save others. Chauvin followed both departmental procedures and his training. When drawing up training manuals and the procedure handbook, not all circumstances can be foreseen. It was a horrible accident, in which Chauvin, Floyd, the crowd, and Floyd's drug dealer can all be found to be at some degree of fault. This is why we have police, to help sort things out. And like all human institutions, its imperfect and flawed. Be it a sockpuppet or a counterfeiter of $20 bills, or dope dealer who sells deadly drugs, the real crime is creating suspicion and mistrust between people of good faith while pretending to be one of them. Even IF I felt he deserved jail time, I would STILL NOT support the verdict precisely BECAUSE it was NOT done under a fair trial, precisely BECAUSE, as even one of the alternate jurors pointed out, the only reason the jury voted that way was so they wouldn't be intimidated by any BLM members under Maxine Water's direction paying a visit to their houses and at the very least intimidating them if not do much worse.). - RobS, I just read your lawofficer.com source and it makes the valid point that the Minneapolis police department should not have taught that procedure. On the other hand, my police captain testimony still trumps your source because the police captain rightly said that Chauvin was left too long handcuffed and in the prone position (the prone position reduces ability to uptake oxygen). In short, Chauvin badly screwed up.Conservative (talk) 20:57, 26 April 2021 (EDT)
- okay, so at what point did he screw up? when he put him in the hold, or at some point when the decision was made to call EMT's after the hold was applied? RobSFree Kyle! 21:02, 26 April 2021 (EDT)
- screw up = acted negligently. When the hold was applied the intention was to get him into the car. Sometime after about 90 seconds (I think) a decision was made among officers to call EMTs.
- So we are back to the fundemental legal question: Does a policeman's failure to risk his life constitute criminal negligence? It's a similiar question to the cop at that high school shooting who didn't go inside to confront the shooter. RobSFree Kyle! 21:33, 26 April 2021 (EDT)

- Now that I brought forth Derek Chauvin's own police captain testifying against him and saying he screwed up in order to further bolster my already strong arguments/evidence (See: Police Chief Arradondo testifies against Derek Chauvin), I would like to say one more thing: On behalf of all law and order conservatives who maintain that policemen are not above the law, I declare victory!Conservative (talk) 20:30, 26 April 2021 (EDT)
It was Chauvin showing callous regard for Floyd's life by keeping his knee on his neck of a man who was struggling to breathe that was making the bystanders angry. The degree of callousness was so apparent that it was readily seen by a child at the scene. Chauvin's own police chief was highly critical of Chauvin's behavior. And ultimately, a jury found Chauvin guilty of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. And now he is in prison where he belongs.Conservative (talk) 04:20, 27 April 2021 (EDT)
- He has yet to be sentenced, which occurs in 60 days. My guess is the judge will sentence somewhere right in between the maximum and minimum on the most serious charge. Before that sentence is complete, he'll win an appeal. Then it's up to the state to decide if they want to retry him. Given other circumstances two or three years down the road, when all is forgotten and other cases move to the fore - the Scot Peterson case in Florida over the Marjory Stoneman Douglas trial of an alleged negligent cop that been three years in the making, the Brooklyn Center case, the Kyle Rittenhouse case, trial of the other 3 cops, Keith Ellison being voted out of office, and the steady realization that Mpls is the new Detroit and Newark which will never recover from riots - Chauvin will begin fighting to clear his name and win back his pension. The pendulum will swing back from the insanity America has suffered at the hands of progressives since the alleged murder of George Floyd. RobSFree Kyle! 04:54, 27 April 2021 (EDT)
- Anyways, President Trump or President DeSantis can pardon him on January 21, 2025 if SCOTUS hasn't intervened yet. Then he can fight to get his pension and backpay. RobSFree Kyle! 05:14, 27 April 2021 (EDT)
- I don't think you understand Minnesotans or the current political atmosphere. Chauvin isn't in the deep south in the late 1800s or early 1900s. He is in progressive/liberal Minnesota in 2021. He will not win in any appeal - especially since he showed callous indifference to Floyd when he was desperate and having great difficulty breathing. Even when Floyd was unresponsive - Chauvin did not administer CPR which he was trained to do. He did not even allow the off-duty firefighter to administer CPR.
- An appeal judge (or appeal judges) will look at: the testimony of the police chief; the current protocol for handling those in custody; the testimony of the medical professionals; the testimony of the bystanders and fellow officers; and finally, the live videos. And Chauvin will lose on appeal. There is the venue argument for the trial issue (the very high profile trial could have been held outside of Minneapolis), but I doubt a Minnesota appeal judge or judges will go out on a limb for Chauvin.Conservative (talk) 05:49, 27 April 2021 (EDT)
- When the judge does not sentence Chauvin to the maximum, he's sending an opinion to the Appeals Court that he disagrees with the jury's finding. (And as everyone knows, a judge pays more attention to trial testimony than juries do). RobSFree Kyle! 06:15, 27 April 2021 (EDT)
- You've probably heard judges say in real horrific cases, "I wish I could sentence you to more, but the law won't allow it." That's cuz statute law is like police procedures and training manuals, incapable of foreseeing all circumstances. Neither the prosecution or jury made allowance for this one-time, freak fluke circumstance. The case was politicized.
- That idiot who worked out at the gym should have been prosecuted for interfering with police work and endangering safety (not made a star witness). As should have the dope dealer, along with the other three cops. Heck, the ambulance driver needs a good excuse, not for any criminal charges, but in his civil service review, for his failure to perform his duties in a timely and appropriate manner. And George Floyd himself is responsible for his actions, negligence, and stupidity, as well. There's enough blame to go around for everyone, including the idiot EMT bystander who defied police instructions.
- What's missing here is actual malice. That's why Chauvin was charged with 2nd and 3rd degree. His actions are akin to killing a stranger in a bar fight - you didn't go into the bar to kill a specific individual, and when you got in the fight you didn't intend to kill him. Or driving a car down a sidewalk, sure, you acted recklessly, but you weren't aiming at any specific individual.
- None of the "aggravating circumstances", doing the job you were trained to do in front of children, will show up in the sentencing. And if they remotely do, all it does is delay and add to the appeals process.
- The case was politicized. The jury was tainted. Chauvin has been denied a fair trial. He won't do much more than 3 years. Fully clearing his name is somewhat questionable, depending on resources, but by this time in four years he'll be living in Arizona and working for some private security firm. RobSFree Kyle! 06:42, 27 April 2021 (EDT)
- Yeah, and besides, a lot of the jury was in fact composed of Black Lives Matter activists, meaning this was FAR from a just jury. Instead of winning, us law and order conservatives up and out LOST. I think someone needs to investigate the Conservative account, since I suspect a crypto-leftist hijacked it. Pokeria1 (talk) 21:58, 4 May 2021 (EDT)

- Of course, the Dems are now trying to redefine court-packing by arguing that it was what Trump supposedly was doing all along. Even the Washington Post has pointed out how outright erroneous the left is. â

The world is burning up. Liberals are pumped
If you believe that global warming will burn us up in ten years time, can you be optimistic about a future under Biden? According to this survey, the answer is yes: "After Trump, Young Americans Are 'More Hopeful About The Future', Poll Finds." I'm not sure how to explain this contradiction. Do liberals think that Biden can stop the Chinese and Indians from building more coal-fired plants? Now that Biden has delegated this important matter to AOC, it's as good as solved? She literally doesn't know the difference between racial justice and climate change. The "Green New Deal" is less an effort to address climate change than her answer to whatever issue is trending in the news.

They did it for Yovanovich
I hope this is a joke. Here is today's New York Times: "Firing of U.S. Ambassador Is at Center of Giuliani Investigation." During the impeachment hearings in 2019, Yovanovich claimed that Guiliani asked Trump to fire her. So here we have another attack on Trump's constitutional rights: The right of a president to receive confidential advise. Guiliani is also accused of failing to declare his foreign agent status. Guiliani a FARA scofflaw? What about Hunter, recipient of money from China, Ukraine, Romania, etc, etc? PeterKa (talk) 05:03, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- That's the cover story. But the fact remains they have all Giuliani phone contacts and abuse of the FISA 702 database is ongoing. All they need is a phone number or email address and they have your whole life story, past, present, and future. As Snowden said, "I, sitting at my desk, certainly had the authorities to wiretap anyone, from you or your accountant, to a federal judge, to even the president if I had a personal e-mail. Itâs getting to the point you donât have to have done anything wrong. You simply have to eventually fall under suspicion from somebody, even by a wrong call, and then they can use the system to go back in time and scrutinize every decision you have ever made.â RobSFree Kyle! 05:43, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- That's what 702 FISA abuse is. With a cell number, email, or IP address, they flip open a search box and have all your contacts, bank accounts, passport records, utility bills, etc. And then they do the same thing to all your contacts. Readers here need to become familiar with parallel construction. RobSFree Kyle! 06:00, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- This is how Stormy Daniels was discovered. The Carter Page FISA warrant, under the two-hop rule, led to investigating Michael Cohen. Cohen was put away under the process of parallel construction cause the original wiretap was illegal. RobSFree Kyle! 06:06, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- Let me go into some more detail: they don't need a warrant to perform a 702 search, it is fairly routine. However, the search still needs a legal basis, i.e some ongoing investigation of a suspect's contacts. In the case of Obamagate, the 702 searches of everybody connected with the Trump business and Trump campaign were going on since at least November of 2015 and numbered over 5,000 illegal searches of innocent people. Internal auditors caught the ongoing illegal searchers. So Strzok & company needed to CYA by making them legal. The Carter Page FISA warrant in October 2016 made the illegal FISA 702 searches legal retroactively going back at least a year. RobSFree Kyle! 06:27, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- An alleged FARA violation is the cover to use the FISA database, as it was in Michael Flynn's case, Paul Manafort, and others. RobSFree Kyle! 06:33, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- This story makes it clear that the DOJ's investigation of Guiliani is payback for Guiliani's investigation of Hunter: "Biden slams Trump ally Rudy Giuliani as âRussian pawnâ in 2nd debate." Guiliani brought down the mob and was New York City's hero mayor after 9/11. Has Biden done anything comparable for our country? PeterKa (talk) 11:16, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- An alleged FARA violation is the cover to use the FISA database, as it was in Michael Flynn's case, Paul Manafort, and others. RobSFree Kyle! 06:33, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- Here's how an "intelligence laundry" works: private outside contractors are not subject to FOIA, and have access to the FISA database. FusionGPS, Crowdstrike, Nellie Ohr, and the fella James Comey leaked his notes to who leaked to the NYT, all were FBI contractors with FISA access. The FBI provides Giuliani cell phone and email contacts to contractors. The contractors perform the searches and feed back the alleged "evidence" of probable cause to the FBI, as in the Steele dossier for instance, for continuing investigations. RobSFree Kyle! 14:21, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- So it is safe to say that Sidney Powell, Patrick Byrne, Ron DeSantis, their staffs, and anyone assisting the Hunter Biden Ukraine, China, and Romania investigations are all now under FISA surveillance. RobSFree Kyle! 14:35, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- Innocent low level staffers, Hope Hicks or Omarosa Manigault for example, are harassed and driven out of government because of FISA abuse. The database returns dirt on a dirty boyfriend, for example, which is used to blackmail them. The message sent to other job seekers is to stay away from the Trump campaign or Ron DeSantis' office cause your life will be destroyed if you go to work for these guys. RobSFree Kyle!
- Bongino explains some of this here. RobSFree Kyle! 16:20, 30 April 2021 (EDT)
- Why isn't John Kerry investigated and prosecuted for his FARA violations on behalf of Iran? FARA is what opens the door for FISA 702 (no need for a warrant) abuse. RobSFree Kyle! 23:53, 6 May 2021 (EDT)

Samhain, the pagan holiday that never was
I rewrote the article on Halloween and created one on Samhain so as to refute the neopagan claim that Halloween descends from a pagan Irish holiday. Saint Patrick lit an Easter fire on top of the Hill of Slane to upstage the druid fire festival of Beltaine on May 1. But it seems that Samhain (Nov. 1) was not important enough for Patrick to bother with. It was the first day of winter on the Celtic calendar. It was also the date when the Feast of Tara met to approve laws and taxes. Perhaps because the church did not consider Samhain to be a threat, the bards of the High Middle Ages were free to promote it in their tales.
As for Halloween, that arose in 18th century Scotland for reasons that had nothing to do with Ireland. It owes much to an 1785 poem by Robert Burns. The whole idea of a day to wink at superstitious beliefs is inherently a very modern one. That this story remains unknown outside Scotland reflects the lack of political and economic clout of Scottish-Americans compared to that of Irish-Americans. PeterKa (talk) 19:57, 4 May 2021 (EDT)
Haiti conquers covid without masks or money
What happens when you're too poor to worry about covid? Haiti has a covid death rate of 22 per million compared to 1,800 per million for the U.S. See "One Of The World's Poorest Countries Has One Of The World's Lowest COVID Death Rates." The article doesn't really explain how this is possible. But I'm thinking that a low obesity rate and a lot of sunlight and UV are probably factors. Haiti is No. 72 in obesity while the U.S. is No. 12.[32]
Hungary has the world's highest covid death rate, 2,900 per million. Mask poster boy Czech Republic is No. 2 with 2,800 per million.[33] PeterKa (talk) 21:32, 6 May 2021 (EDT)
Trump, Trump, and more Trump
Trump has been all over the headlines in the last few days. Perhaps the media needs the ratings. Here is Trump's new "platform." After all the publicity, it's just a blog. The posts currently up are mostly about Liz Cheney. She is being removed from the No. 3 position in the House Republican party caucus. See "We're Replacing Liz Cheney With a Pro-Abort, Anti-Border Wall, Pro-Transgender, Anti-Religious Freedom Republican and We're Supposed to Be Happy?" Hey, thanks Trump!
The conservative movement needs to focus on the outrages committed by Biden and the Democrats. Why are foreigners being encouraged to cross our border illegally and given access to federally-funded health care, education, and other benefits? We need the wall and eVerify so sanctions can be imposed on employers who hire illegals. The mayors and district attorneys who are letting crime run rampant in the major cities need to be replaced with people who will support the police against the criminals and reimpose bail. Ending covid restrictions and getting back to work should be a priority as well. Step up research on nuclear reactor design. We need a new generation of nuclear power plants so that we have an answer to the Green New Deal. Bring back stop and frisk. Take the guns from the criminals, not from citizens who follow the law. The problem with this letter is the date: January 3. That's right before Pelosi's big push for a second impeachment. I conclude that Cheney must have been coordinating with Pelosi on this issue before pro-Trump protestors entered the Capitol. If the second impeachment wasn't motivated by the protest in the Capitol, what was it about? Pelosi and the Dems wanted to vindicate their earlier efforts to impeach Trump, of course. Warren, the light that failed
Back in the days when Joe Biden was just the senator who mistreated Anita Hill and Hunter was a conduit for cash intended to influence the "big guy," the media worshipped Senator Elizabeth Warren. She just released a book entitled Persist. That means it's once again time for the liberal media to ponder the question how they failed her in 2020. See "Elizabeth Warrenâs Book Shows She Has No Idea Why Her Campaign Failed." These commentators are too polite to mention the obvious: She lied endlessly about being an American Indian. Then she promoted a dubious DNA report to support that lie. When do we get to see the lab results themselves as opposed to an interpretation by her campaign's favorite experts? If we accept the report at face value, she is somewhere around 99 percent white. We have the Cherokee Nation to thank for exposing her.
As far as liberals are concerned, the principle thing that held Warren back was that she was a woman. If the Democrats believe this, why don't they nominate more men? Are we supposed to think that they are sacrificing elections because they believe so deeply in women's rights? What a lot of nonsense! PeterKa (talk) 07:05, 9 May 2021 (EDT)

Pulling out the crystal ball for the midterms
Biden's current approval rating of 54 percent is likely the result of undersampling Republicans. Every single poll ahead of the last election showed Biden ahead by a bigger margin than what he actually got. The pollsters are in cahoots, as my grandmother would say.
If recent special elections are anything to go by, there has been a surge in Republican support on the order of ten points. Nobody watched Biden's speech. The Dems have lost interest in politics since Trump was ousted. They won't show up in the midterms unless they can vote against him again. (Do I hear third impeachment?)
It's hard to imagine Biden ever getting better publicity than he is getting now. He's being hailed the covid miracle worker. Did he do something about covid beyond reissue Trump's policies and wear a mask? See "Based on Biden's Performance So Far, There's Trouble Ahead for Democrats."
Of the 34 Senate seats up for election in 2024, 14 lean Dem, 18 lean Republican, and two are tossups, according to The Cook Report. The toss ups are North Carolina and Pennsylvania, both of them open seats. The current lineup for this class is 14 Dems to 20 Republicans. In short, we need every Republican seat, both tossups, and at least one upset to regain control. As far as who the upset could be, the two most vulnerable Dems are Kelly in Arizona and Warnock in Georgia. PeterKa (talk) 03:07, 10 May 2021 (EDT)

Joe Biden may have to become more bipartisan to get Republicans to rally behind Covid-19 vaccination in order to get herd immunity
Joe Biden may have to pull out all the stops to get to herd immunity. And that might include the dreaded word for today's Democrats - bipartisanship.Conservative (talk) 00:15, 13 May 2021 (EDT)
- You really think Biden is going to do bipartisanship? COVID's what got himself elected, and there's plenty of evidence out there that the death rate was manufactured (even Candace Owens made that much clear, as did a member of the CDC back in August). And besides, going to War with China would be the most likely result thanks to those leaked emails from the NIH as well as the Chinese Military being revealed to have deliberately manufactured, which if anything is more likely to result in Biden and Fauci's execution under the charge of treason. And that's not even getting into how Obama NEVER embraced bipartisanship, and if Obama didn't, it's unlikely Biden would either. Pokeria1 (talk) 05:46, 13 May 2021 (EDT)

And besides, speaking from personal experience, I'd argue we if anything followed guidelines far TOO well, especially when I was unable to get to a doctor a few times, not to mention my Goodwill pretty much rejected people going into cars to get donations via so-called "contactless deliveries" (even had my manager give a huge fit when one of the donor door people might have done that), and overall had too much paranoia going on (heck, at the dentist, they had to check temperatures constantly JUST to make sure someone wasn't suffering from COVID-19). Besides, have you ever considered that America's high rate of infection was because of certain high officials outright misreporting the statistics and literally counting anyone who literally had COVID in their bodies as "a COVID death"? Especially when, if Japan was as much of a success story as you claim, they WOULDN'T have locked down yet again back in January. Heck, the mere fact that Florida barely has any hospitalized cases, let alone deaths, compared to California or New York DESPITE being wide open and ignoring the rules against COVID-19 should be a pretty big hint that the COVID-19 death toll was bogus, especially regarding lack of lockdowns. So I don't think it's the masks. It's more likely the low obesity rate and a diet with zinc and vitamin D. Masks plus face shields work. That is what nurses wear when interfacing with Covid-19 patients. And they are a strong 1-2 punch combination.[40]
Plus, to avoid getting Covid-19 you can: work from home; take the Pfizer vaccine which has tackled Covid-19 for God's chosen people in Israel[41]; shop at non-peak hours[42]; social distance around strangers; stay in shape; take vitamin D because it might be helpful[43]; and when you get home from shopping, you hang your clothes in a bathroom and crank an ozone machine followed by washing them.[44][45]

"Czechs lit nearly 30,000 candles at Prague Castle, the seat of the presidency, on Monday evening to pay their respects to the pandemicâs victims.
The hard-hit European Union nation of 10.7 million people has registered at least 29,711 virus-related deaths.
After observing a minute of silence, President Milos Zeman was the first to light a candle. In his brief speech, he thanked the medical personnel and anyone who has been fighting the pandemic.
Zeman said some of those people died because âwe succumbed to the temptation to ease (restrictive measures) prematurely.â
He said he hoped that Czechs had learned from it. His words came at the end of a day that saw the country massively relaxing its coronavirus restrictions.
The latest easing came after new infections fell to the levels last seen in August, at which time the government failed to react fast enough to a rising number of infections, which later contributed to a record number of deaths."[48]Conservative (talk) 23:38, 14 May 2021 (EDT)

That if anything sounded more like they had HIGHER per capita death rates. Besides, Rhode Island was excessively compliant with masks, as was Japan, and they STILL got mass infections. Just face it, masks don't work, nor do lockdowns. Besides, as PeterKa pointed out with medical studies, even regarding multilayered defenses, it STILL didn't help at all. Japan still locked down for a second time (while even here in America we only locked down once), Czech still suffered needlessly high deaths, even Rhode Island, despite being the most compliant with masking in America, STILL suffered from mass infections. And that's not even getting into how an internal memo from the CDC, dated April 2020, all but stated that most of the "COVID-19 deaths" in America were literally due to counting ANYONE who had even a trace of COVID-19 and dying as a COVID-19 death, even if it was from factors that obviously weren't tied to COVID-19 at all. Hamas launches rockets at Israel
Why has fighting broken out in Israel? "An already tense situation prompted by moves to evict Palestinian families from their homes near the Old City in Jerusalem exploded," is how CNN explains it. This explanation is preposterous. Hamas has been gathering missiles for an attack for years. It's just who they are and what they do. Why now? Hamas had to cancel an election it was expected to win, so the timing wasn't ideal from their point of view. That this attack was coordinated with Iranian attacks on U.S. ships in the Strait of Hormuz gives the game away. This is Iran getting even for Israel's attack on the Iranian nuclear facility in Natanz back in April. From Israel's point of view, it's better to force Hamas' hand than to wait until the group is good and ready. Israel is expected to retaliate by cleaning out the Hamas leadership, giving the upper hand to Fatah, their Palestinian rivals. PeterKa (talk) 08:15, 15 May 2021 (EDT)

Masks, again
Numerous scientific studies have shown that mask wearing does nothing at all for the person wearing the mask. Here is the latest such study. This includes studies of healthcare workers who have been instructed on how to use the masks.[50] Do masks prevent people with the virus from spreading it to others? The fall and rise of covid in the Czech Republic suggests they can. At the same time, the Czech experience shows that the general population is not willing to make the sacrifices required for long enough to make this idea work. Americans are much worse at this. Ninety-six percent compliance in Rhode Island wasn't good enough to even slow the virus down: "Despite 96% mask compliance âevery time they go outââhighest in the U.S. during the fall of 2020âRhode Island still had an enormous fall covid-19 infection spike." The subreplacement level of births of native populations is what is primarily causing cultures to be mixed with other cultures. Cheap air travel is a big factor too.
If a culture doesn't care enough about their culture to have kids, I am not going to wring my hands about it. Why should I care more about French culture or German culture or Italian culture than the French, Germans and Italians. Conservative (talk) 15:36, 18 May 2021 (EDT)
- That's what Biden's border crisis is all about. Due to the falling birthrate in the U.S., Biden is essentially stealing children from Latin America as a replacement population. And there is a racist element to it, as well. If Biden wasn't stealing Spanish children, the native-born Black population would grow to a larger percentage cause they don't have the falling birthrate that whites have. RobSFree Kyle! 16:37, 18 May 2021 (EDT)
- You are over racializing matters.
- The business community likes the cheap labor from Latin America. And the golden rule applies. He who owns the gold rules! So for years, nothing was done to have effective border control.

- Overracializing? Not necessarily. In Biden's case we have two bits of information from recent statements to support his racist motivation: (1) his "unlike blacks, Hispanics are incredibly diverse" statement in context, and (2) his "Hear me. By 2040 America will be minority white European" statement. That in fact was spoken to blacks, encouraging them to forge coalitions with Hispanics for the future of the Democrat party. Biden has put his hope in the future of the Democrat party (note: Democrat party, not America) on Hispanics, knowing Blacks have a higher birthrate than white Europeans. The next economic downturn and the presidential race of 2024
The world-renowned investor Jim Rogers (Jim Rogers and George Soros founded the Quantum Fund) says the economic downturn will likely be worse than the last one which was in 2007/2008.[56] Rogers has been described as leaning towards the Austrian School of Economics which is a more conservative form of economics. The economists of the Austrian School of Economics have a better track record in predicting economic recessions/depressions.
Why did Rogers say the next economic downturn will be worse than the last one? Because there is a lot more government debt now.
So Joe Biden's and the Democrats big spending that is driving up the national debt, may make it harder for Biden to win in 2024 if there is an economic downturn.Conservative (talk) 00:24, 21 May 2021 (EDT)

- The stockmarket has become disconnected from the American economy. Wall Street is disconnected from Main Street. Originally, a Wall Street stock was a way to gather together capital for a company to employee American people. Today's listed stocks employ people outside the United States. It has no impact on the everyday lives of American people. It is global. Yes, pension funds and stockholders can see profits, but the capital invested in the stock itself resides outside the U.S., and shareholder profit is just a marginal percentage of that value invested. Media reconsiders origin of covid
Until a few weeks ago, no theory was more ridiculous than the claim that covid was a genetically engineered version of the RaTG13 virus found in an abandoned copper mine in Yunnan back in 2013. That it came from a lab leak was also a nonstarter. No, No, and more No. The epidemic was all the fault of those cute little pangolins who were supposedly being sold in Wuhan's Huanan Seafood Market. The Chinese desire exotic foods, don't you know. The Cantonese in the South are famous for this. But the problem has rarely been associated with Wuhan or central China. Although the seafood market was closed at the start of the epidemic and examined carefully, nobody found any infected pangolins. Furthermore, the virus was already adapted for life in a human host even in the earliest known cases of covid. So the logic for thinking that it had made a species jump in the market no longer holds. Although the pangolin/seafood market theory was disproven long ago, the media refused to consider any other possibility.
So guess what? âIt is clear that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was systematically constructing novel chimeric coronaviruses and was assessing their ability to infect human cells and human-ACE2-expressing mice,â says Richard H. Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University and leading expert on biosafety. The ACE2 receptor is one of two pathways by which covid infects humans. The NSA should check to see if China was paying the U.S. media off. See "PolitiFact retracts Wuhan lab theory âfact-checkâ" and "The theory that COVID-19 escaped from a lab may not be so far-fetched." PeterKa (talk) 10:43, 22 May 2021 (EDT)

- I suspect that the issue that motivates Xi in these matters is Hong Kong. Xi is a protege of Zheng Qinghong, who tried and failed to impose a security law on the city in 2003. Mao Zedong's attempt to take over the city using the Red Guards in 1967 was his most notable failure in a long career. The Communists expected to win the 23 November 2019 district council elections in Hong Kong. They reassessed strategy after they lost.
- "Patient zero" in Wuhan began showing symptoms on December 1, with three more cases developing on December 10. Only one of these four early cases had a connection to the Huanan Market. In SARS and previous epidemics, the Communists did everything they could to minimize what was happening. This time around, they put out fake videos of apparently healthy people suddenly collapsing, like a zombie movie was happening in Wuhan. On January 23, 2020, they shut the whole city down, something no one had realized was even an option. Historians searched for precedents. The best they could come up with was Milan during the Black Death in the 14th century. PeterKa (talk) 22:09, 22 May 2021 (EDT)

- Perhaps the virus leaked from the Wuhan lab by accident sometime in October 2019. The CCP decided to "not let a crisis go to waste" and use it a political weapon after they lost the November 23 election. When Trump signed the Hong Kong sanctions bill on November 27, no one in America was surprised. But it came as a nasty shock to the Chinese government.
- Hong Kong was the great moral issue back in November 2019. It was the "revolution of our times," as the protestors put it. Between the election, covid, and Taiwan, the international media barely had space to cover Hong Kong in 2020, not even when China arrested the entire leadership of the pro-democracy movement. PeterKa (talk) 23:02, 22 May 2021 (EDT)
- Yes, I think that's what's developing into a finalized narrative. They were faced with paying $350 billion in Trump tariffs already on the books, which personally, I don't believe they ever had any intention of paying. And covid was one way to dispose of Trump.
- The CCP has already murdered 70 million of its own people. Staying in power is a bigger priority over the health and safety of their own people. And you can't eliminate the role local corruption played, as well. Which is also the big flaw in the party system. Nobody, from the lowest levels on up, want to inform a superior. Beijing was the last to know (mid-late December) when it already was too late. So they made the best of it to their advantage.

- Not in the sense you have expressed. Ongoing gain of function research is based upon the idea that "we" have to get there first before an enemy does. Similar to the Manhattan Project, the argument was that the U.S. had to develop a nuke first before Hitler did, since splitting the atom was theoretically possible. American foreign policy however, embarked upon a "shared technology" research project, naively thinking by engaging in joint research projects and "sharing" the technology with the CCP, that would promote "international cooperation" and not make the CCP feel threatened. RobSFree Kyle! 03:39, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- Not to downplay what your article has to say, but it doesn't establish who released the virus. It doesn't matter whether or not China took advantage of the virus' emergence and intentionally let it spread. That's a separate issue from who released the virus in the first place. And at this time, I'm not convinced that it was the CCP who did that. I'm heavily leaning toward the idea that it was someone in our own government who did that.
- I'm especially suspicious towards Mike Pompeo, who these days seems to be competing with Rand Paul over who's "the loudest voice in the room" on this issue. Tell me, Mike. Why are you being this loud, and only now? How could you not have known all this while you were in office? What are you trying to hide?--Geopolitician (talk) 13:47, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- I'm hesitant to consider Pompeo part of the deep state, especially when he up and out stated Trump was the next president in 2020 while still looking into the election stuff when asked about the next president. Besides, I really wouldn't underestimate China's capability of deliberately releasing a virus among its own populace if I were you. Let's not forget that China is still ultimately a Communist country, and Communist countries have been known to be extremely callous towards its own people, including mass murder. Heck, Mao Zedong committed several deliberate starvation campaigns, including the Four Pests Campaign and the Great Leap Forward, and Lenin committed deliberate starvations of his own people, in fact, deliberately starved his own people before he even became the dictator of the Soviet Union specifically to force the peasantry to adopt Marxism and cast aside their morals. Long story short, there's literally nothing you can put past the ChiComs, including massacring their own people (and Mao Zedong also implied he if anything would fully welcome nuclear war simply because there would still be plenty of survivors in China). consensus narrative
- Here is what is becoming the consensus narrative: An accident occurred at the Wuhan lab between Oct. 21-29, 2019; patient zero was a female lab employee, who died approx Nov. 17; By about Dec. 1 other cases and its transmissibility were apparent; by mid Dec. (about Dec. 16) hospital employees became aware of the outbreak. Between mid Dec. and about Dec. 26 hospital employees realized they needed to take precautions with PPE cause they weren't getting any guidance from official channels. On Dec. 30 Taiwan (emphasis: Taiwan, not "China" as the Brookings Institute and other sources claim) notified the WHO of a deadly transmissible outbreak. Beijing never notified the WHO. Beijing became aware of the outbreak sometime around Dec. 24.
- So, the consensus narrative is (a) the virus is a manufactured bioweapon, made with Dr. Fauci's assistance, that accidentally leaked from the lab. (b) Beijing took no steps to contain the leak after it became aware of it. (c) Beijing allowed the departure of some 2300 international flights from Wuhan a month after it became aware of the deadly transmissible outbreak. RobSFree Kyle! 14:49, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- Incidentally, what is outlined above was known and available in Open Source by April of last year, 2020. RobSFree Kyle! 14:51, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- I wish and hope what you say is true. That the leaking of the virus itself was just an accident and that China's subsequent behavior was motivated by either incompetence or post-leak opportunism. However, there's a big part of me that believes the truth is in fact more sinister than that. Especially since the first American proponents of this version of the story were notorious neocons who very well may have been trying to hijack the conversation and turn it into a debate over whether we should go to war with China right now over the virus. Well, that's what happens when the foreign policy establishment wastes its credibility on things like Iraq and Syria. It becomes more difficult for people like myself to determine if they are telling the truth and not a rebranded version of the troll garbage they spewed in 2003 and 2011.--Geopolitician (talk) 16:42, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- Now you're going off the deep end in paranoid conspiracy theories about the Deep State.
- Incidentally, what is outlined above was known and available in Open Source by April of last year, 2020. RobSFree Kyle! 14:51, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- So we are actually digressing at the moment from the consensus narrative on the word accidentally. Here is my paranoid conspiracy theory at the moment: the CCP made a preliminary agreement in June 2019 to pay $350 billion in Trump tariffs. Details were worked out in following months. They have not paid under the terms negotiated in the original agreement, as the tariffs were to take effect about a week before the CCP closed off Wuhan and announced to the world the pandemic.
- There is much more to be added about the suspicious timing of many events, including the formation of the "greatest voter fraud organization in history." But the idea Pompeo is involved is ludicrous, and American leaders traditionally do not have such a cavalier attitude toward the lives of their own people, as the CCP does, to remain in power. RobSFree Kyle! 17:10, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- Jan. 15, 2020: CNBC: Trump signs âphase oneâ trade deal with China in push to stop economic conflict. 8 days later, the original deal never had a chance to take effect under the conditions (i.e. volume of trade) that it was negotiated. RobSFree Kyle! 19:15, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- Jan. 23: Wuhan closed and the world finds out about pandemic. Meanwhile, 2,300 international flights are allowed to depart Wuhan following their annual New Years family gathering holiday. Beijing is fully aware of transmissibility. RobSFree Kyle! 20:16, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- GEN. FLYNN: COVID WAS 100% PLANNED TO STEAL THE ELECTION. I'll see your MSM/Biden garbage and raise you the word of a National Security Advisor to the President and his sources any day of the week. RobSFree Kyle! 22:18, May 27, 2021 (EDT)
- You know, I find it very disappointing that General Flynn is approaching this issue from that angle. Given that the reason for his persecution was that he wanted to stop the neocons from starting a war with Turkey, I would've expected him to focus more on calling out the warmongers. After all, if they are insane enough to try to start a hot war with one of our own NATO allies, they are certainly insane enough to try to start a war with China. But instead of calling out the warmongers, he's been warmongering himself. That, along with his embracing of QAnon, makes me wonder if the Deep States have gotten to him. What a shame.
- Meanwhile, I don't think you understand just how grave this situation really is. Do you not realize that if the "Wuhan Lab" theory becomes the national consensus, a hot war with China will become a very real possibility? The people will become so incensed that they will demand that Biden either start a war, or be removed from office. And of course, that's exactly what the neocons want to see happen. This may well be "Saddam has WMDs" all over again, except this time the war will be against a fellow superpower that happens to have hundreds of nuclear weapons. The stakes are thus so much higher now than it was in 2003.--Geopolitician (talk) 03:20, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- If I must be blunt, it was a mistake to ally with China during the 1970s, even if it was to take down another Marxist regime (the Soviet Union). That said, it only reached that level in the 1990s with Bill Clinton. If you ask me, I would rather engage in a shooting war with China to get rid of its Marxism. Above all else, we need to get rid of Marxism. It was ultimately our fault that we let Marxism get as far as it did when various high-up corporate interests literally, and STUPIDLY if you ask me, bankrolled Vladimir Lenin's revolution in Russia, so we might as well pay for our sin by getting rid of the only major Marxist country (and yes, it IS still a Marxist country. For goodness sakes, Xi Jiping made that much clear), maybe also make SURE Marxism's fully extinct in Russia as well, to the extent that Marx's statue is toppled. You want to ally to China, I suggest you follow Edward Snowden's example and defect to China. Don't get me wrong, I'm wary of neocons as well, but I sure as heck am not willing to issue Marxist/pro-Communist talking points just to fight against the Neocons. As bad as the Neocons are, Communists are FAR worse. And I don't just mean Stalinists, either. I mean Leninists as well, even Trotskyists. Pokeria1 (talk) 03:37, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- Oh, you guys thinking is so 20th Century. We live in a new era with a different concept and doctrine of warfare (Ref: Chinese_Communist_Party#Unrestricted_warfare). We are at war. We have been attacked. Toss out your perspectives and understanding of what warfare is and adapt.
- Between the American Civil War/Franco Prussian War, and the WWI there were no big wars (Russo-Japanese war excepted). Technological advances were immense, yet military doctrines remained the same. That's how you ended up with people re-enacting Pickett's Charge in front of machine guns for four years. The military strategists and thinkers refused to change from the theories about warfare that they had been taught.
- See here for example, a series begun this week in a premier military industrial newsletter: Introducing âThe China Intelligenceâ- Everyone needs to understand China better. Open-source intelligence can help. Opening paragraphs: "A mere decade ago, the budget of the Peopleâs Liberation Army, or PLA, was roughly $35 billion. Today, it is around $250 billion. Chinaâs military now boasts capable long-range ballistic missiles, 5th-generation fighter aircraft, aircraft carriers, and the largest surface combatants in the world. Its forces are increasingly active in not just the Pacific but also carrying out operations far beyond...."
- So the boys in the Pentagon are standing around like a bunch of WWI generals wondering what to do next. Better late than never. But one thing they learned from studying military history is the big mistakes of WWI - not incorporating technological advancement into military doctrine. Today the situation is reversed - the military drives technological advancement. The Space Shuttle, the internet, the cell phone, it was all created for one purpose and one purpose only - a military purpose. Private industry did not fund the R&D of modern technology with its everyday spinoffs The internet was created as a communications system for military purposes. Everybody knows this.
- You think it's just a coincidence Redstate.com published this also this week: Eisenhower Also Predicted Fake Science, Virus Lockdowns, Big Tech, and Leftist Colleges? - As I pointed out in a below thread, the deliberate allowance of 2,300 international flights after the highest levels in Beijing were aware of transmissibility, that coupled with their failure to inform the WTO (contrary to reports that "China" informed the WTO on Dec. 30, it was in fact Taiwan. To refer to Taiwan as "China", as the Brookings Institute and other sources and media do, is part of the CCP propaganda war - or part of its Unrestricted warfare doctrine), makes discussion of an accidental lab leak moot. Infection of the planet was a conscious, deliberate, hostile act. RobSFree Kyle! 13:34, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- As far as fingerpointing, yes gain of function research was a joint project with Fauci, Peter Daszek, the CDC, the American taxpayer, et al; no, none of the American partners were part of the accidental leak at WIV in Oct. 2019, or the Politburo Standing Committee's decision to infect the planet sometime in the final week of December. RobSFree Kyle! 14:14, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- Yeah, and besides, it's the epitome of naivete that the ChiComs, or any Communists for that matter, would not be willing to deliberately infect their own populace with a virus or some other form of deadly event. Let's not forget that Vladimir Lenin was notorious for deliberately instigating starvations against his own people during his rule, heck, even BEFORE he formed the USSR, as he deliberately sabotaged relief efforts during the Volga famine with the specific intent of trying to force the peasantry to adopt Marxism. Not to mention Mao Zedong made it very clear in his "America is a Paper Tiger" speech that he was willing to have China get nuked in a nuclear war simply because 200,000 to 300,000 will survive with the implication that they'll still be there. - According to the current knowledge, the virus SARS-CoV-2 has a diameter of 60 nm to 140 nm [nanometers (billionth of a meter)] [16], [17], while medical and non-medical facemasksâ thread diameter ranges from 55 µm to 440 µm [micrometers (one millionth of a meter), which is more than 1000 times larger. Due to the difference in sizes between SARS-CoV-2 diameter and facemasks thread diameter (the virus is 1000 times smaller), SARS-CoV-2 can easily pass through any facemask."[59]
The science website Nature.com:
- "What does this imply for the ability of masks to impede COVID-19 transmission? The virus itself is only about 0.1âµm in diameter. But because viruses donât leave the body on their own, a mask doesnât need to block particles that small to be effective. More relevant are the pathogen-transporting droplets and aerosols, which range from about 0.2âµm to hundreds of micrometres across. (An average human hair has a diameter of about 80âµm.) The majority are 1â10âµm in diameter and can linger in the air a long time, says Jose-Luis Jimenez, an environmental chemist at the University of Colorado Boulder. âThat is where the action is.â
- In a review of observational studies, an international research team estimates that surgical and comparable cloth masks are 67% effective in protecting the wearer."[60]
Healthline.com: "Researchers found that when a cough was simulated, the double mask blocked 85.4 percent of the aerosol particles. This is compared to 51.4 percent and 56.1 percent for the cloth and surgical mask, respectively."[61]
Double masking and wearing a face shield is the way to go. Please see: SARS-CoV-2 Infection Among Community Health Workers in India Before and After Use of Face Shields
As far as shopping, I have been double masking and wearing a face shield for some time now. Conservative (talk) 23:03, 22 May 2021 (EDT)
- It's a crying shame the incompetent bureaucrat and pansie Anthony Fauci lacks the courage to tell people to wear 2 masks and a face shield! See also: Essay: Why does the president of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte require Philippine citizens to wear a mask and a face shield and the wimpy Anthony Fauci not stress wearing a mask and a face shield?. - Just as an FYI, Malaysia had just declared an emergency lockdown, and Singapore is at least in the beginnings of a state of emergency. I heard Japan's cases are still increasing, despite mask usage, which seems to point towards face masks/face shields being ineffective at all. Logically, if they were effective, infections would permanently go DOWN, not increase. Pokeria1 (talk) 13:02, May 30, 2021 (EDT)
Conservapedia: Technical improvement suggestions as far as MediaWiki and other matters
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I would love to see this become a formidable alternative to Wikipedia. First thing I wanted to note is that the MediaWiki is outdated (1.24). It should be version 1.35. Another thing I wanted to note is why does the wiki not have a favicon? Thanks. Patriotic Gamer (talk) 16:49, 24 May 2021 (EDT)
- The owner of the wiki, User:Aschlafly, likes the view counter totals at the bottom of the pages of MediaWiki 1.24.
- What advantages does the MediaWiki 1.35 version have? Any advantages that would increase web traffic? Conservative (talk) 21:00, 24 May 2021 (EDT)
- P.S. I would suggest making suggestions at: User talk:Aschlafly. Conservative (talk) 21:04, 24 May 2021 (EDT)
- I don't know if it would explicitly have any benefits, but I figured it would be safer to use a more recent version of MediaWiki as older versions are not actively maintained or supported.
- One other thing i thought about is that setting $wgAmericanDates to true in LocalSettings.php will make the wiki show American time/day format by default. I figured this would be fitting for a proudly conservative wiki. Just making suggestions. :) Patriotic Gamer (talk) 14:24, 25 May 2021 (EDT)
Before there was covid, there was Yekaterinburg
The Communist regime went on to massacre millions and send millions more to the camps. But in some sense, Yekaterinburg remained it's worst crime. Trotsky wanted a great trial of the former tsar where he could shine as the prosecutor. Lenin and Sverdlov weren't so sure that was a good idea. When the Ural Soviet volunteered for the job of executing the Romanovs in July 1918, it was rather convenient for the Bolshevik leadership in Moscow. The world was slow to absorb the horror of princes thrown down a well alive and then stoned. The Romanov daughters had so many jewels sewn into their clothes that bullets were deflected. But these riches could not save their lives or buy their freedom. Yekaterinburg fell to the Whites a few weeks later, allowing for an investigation by Nikolai Sokolov.
It seems that we have not yet found our Sokolov: "Biden Officials Shut Down State Department Investigation Into Wuhan Lab Leak Theory." I recently rewrote House of Romanov to boost our Romanov coverage. PeterKa (talk) 12:34, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- It's pretty obvious the Biden State Dept. is taking its marching orders from Beijing. The CCP put out a report about Human Rights abuses in America starting with George Floyd so now Blinken orders the BLM flag flown at all embassies. When has it ever been known the U.S. embraces a Marxist terror organization globally? RobSFree Kyle! 14:34, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- Biden has created a new covid investigative team full of Russia hoaxers and Trump haters. Sokolov's report was published in 1924, six years after the massacre. The man-made virus theory is no longer on Facebook's list of banned theories. Are we are finally allowed to say the obvious? PeterKa (talk) 21:21, 26 May 2021 (EDT)
- You have to say CCP virus, not China virus. Otherwise it might be a hate crime. It's also shorter than CCP/CDC/Fauci virus, which then becomes political and sparks controversy. RobSFree Kyle! 21:46, 26 May 2021 (EDT)

Media feels vindicated by rise of lab leak theory
For a year, the media told us that the lab leak view of covid's origin was a conspiracy theory. Facebook banned users for even discussing it. Every alternative theory regarding the virus's origin -- pangolins, frozen food, bat eating -- was debunked long ago. But we still weren't allowed to talk about this one. Is the media eating crow? No sir-ee! They feel vindicated. See "Trumpâs Supporters Are Getting the Lab-Leak Story Backwards" by David Frum. To Frum, the lab leak theory shows just how dangerous the virus really was. That means the media's scare talk was right on the money.
What Frum is missing is that the virus could have been leaked by accident while Chinese scientists were still developing and genetically engineering it. So whether it was a lab leak or not tells you nothing about how deadly it is. Lockdowns are a techniques that China developed as a response to covid. They have no medical logic. I assume the purpose was to panic the outside world so that we'd stop bothering China about tariffs, Hong Kong, the South China Sea, and other issues. If we agree that the Chinese created this problem, why would you follow the Chinese-approved methods of dealing with it? PeterKa (talk) 04:24, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- That's all water under the bridge. Here's the facts: (a) it is a bioweapon manufactured in a laboratory. It did not occur in nature. (b) It was deliberately leaked to the rest of the world when Beijing allowed 2,300 international flights to depart from Wuhan after they knew of its transmissibility. Beijng never informed the WHO.
- To debate whether it was accidentally leaked from the lab in October 2019 is moot. RobSFree Kyle! 04:44, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- This is what is known in law as a hostile act. RobSFree Kyle! 04:47, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- Covid is said to be the one of the most infectious virus, second only to cholera. Everyone was always going to get infected. We need to make our peace with Farr's Law: âdiseases of the epidemic class follow laws of their own; they remain nearly stationary during months, years, and, as we learn from medical history, centuries; then suddenly rise, like a mist from the earth, and shed desolation on nations â to disappear as rapidly or insensibly as they came.â 95% of people over the age of 70 survive covid, 99.5% of the people under 70 do.[62]
- The Lancet showed that the seafood market was not the source of the outbreak back in January 2020. âThe virus came into that marketplace before it came out of that marketplace.â[63] Over a year later, this is still big news to the mainstream media. PeterKa (talk) 08:20, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- The human species has never dealt with a synthetic virus before or a synthetic vaccine, AFAIK. So I don't know what we can learn from historical experience. It's more like we are at war with ourselves rather than trying to overcome or subdue nature. RobSFree Kyle! 09:24, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
Is Biden close to being impeached?
The fact that the Senate bill calling for both (1) a full-scale investigation into COVID's origins; and (2) the declassification of all intelligence related to said origins was passed unanimously speaks many volumes. Congress is not playing around.
This is going to be Biden's first big test regarding China. And if he messes this up, I have no doubt that Republicans will start pushing for impeachment. At that point, all eyes are on House Democrats. The Democrat majority is extremely slim, to the point that if all Republicans are onboard with impeaching Biden, then it would take just five defections (or seven, if the currently vacant seats are taken into account when calculating the absolute majority threshold) on the Democrat side to have an article of impeachment pass.--Geopolitician (talk) 13:27, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- Not sure that's going anywhere. At this point it's a coin toss who would be a better president, Kamala or Biden, and as far a the GOP goes, odds are on Biden. But a resolution like this can be used for pressure on other things, like the budget and infrastructure.
- Talk of impeachment usually rebounds to talk of congress people keeping their jobs. Once a president's approval ratings sink, members of his own party don't want to be caught voting with him, and he becomes paralyzed. Gridlock sets in, which can even happen when the same party controls both Houses (witness G.W. Bush and the GOP's failure to deal with 2008 Financial panic). RobSFree Kyle! 14:02, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- When Bush said he would "chuck his principles" and approve the banking bailout, I thought, No one actually who has principles talks like that. We should have let the commercial banks go belly up and switched to credit unions, which were never in financial trouble. The bailout was organized by Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. As an academic, he specialized in the Depression. So he thought a banking collapse would lead to another depression. Read your Milton Friedman! The depression was caused by contraction of the money supply by a Fed chairman who was hell-bent on staving off Weimar-style hyperinflation.
- It's amazing what's happened with Bush. I remember election night with friends, one guy said that he did not vote for Obama. A bunch of Democrats in unison shouted, "You voted for Bush?" We had to quietly remind them that Bush was not running for re-election, and McCain was the opponent. Honestly, I was convinced right there many of these Democrats never heard of McCain until that moment. RobSFree Kyle! 22:10, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- By default I always imagine a (D) next to John McCain's title. I keep having to remind myself that he ran as a Republican (RINO). Both nominees running against Obama -- McCain & Romney -- have the most liberal voting record of the Republican senators. Patriotic Gamer (talk) 22:47, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- I sent in an absentee ballot for McCain when he was still opposed to the banking bailout. When he came out in favor of it, I wanted my ballot back. What better issue for him than opposing the bailout? He should have called for Bernanke's impeachment. It's like McCain didn't really want to win. He entered the race to run against Hillary. Defeating Obama would mean that the media would remember him as a racist. PeterKa (talk) 22:53, May 28, 2021 (EDT)

- In the case of McCain, you almost have to divide his career between Cold War and post-Cold War. When he lost to Bush in 2000, he knew he had the 2008 nomination sewed up. That's when he started softening many of his stances.
- In the 2000 primaries, he was very much the anti-establishment outsider. That's why he lost. For example, he opposed construction of a $500 billion Supercarrier in Senate majority leader Trent Lott's state as a wasteful boondoggle. Supercarriers are in fact very vulnerable and not really needed in the post-Cold War era. McCain was taking on the military industrial complex and DC Swamp as a "maverick" and was slapped down. So what is said about him today is not a reflection of his career. He only went berserk when he tried to join the Swamp and Deep State to run in 2008, and afterward when Trump insulted him. even the 2004 McCain-Feingold bill was very much anti-establishment.
- What's the moral of the story? You can be an anti-establishment commie fighter your whole life and called a racist, but if you do a deathbed conversion in your final years, they'll say nice things about you at your funeral. RobSFree Kyle! 23:19, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
- At the start of 2008, conventional wisdom said the presidential election would be Guiliani versus Hillary. So it was a year with a lot of surprises. PeterKa (talk) 01:16, May 29, 2021 (EDT)
- That was just the New York media market, which wanted to reschedule the Guiliani-Hillary smackdown that was canceled in the 2000 NY Senate race. MSM headquartered in NY have no idea what's happening in the rest of the country. Guiliani never made it out of Iowa. McCain cut a deal with RNC insiders to back Hitler (Bush) with the proviso in 8 years he can play Hitler. He was the media darling and anti-Hitler in the 2000 primaries until he backed Hitler. Then he tried to disassociate himself from Hitler (any GOP nominee) and Nazism (the GOP, per MSM) by suddenly taking an interest in domestic politics with McCain-Feingold. By 2008, the scenario replayed itself, with Romney playing the anti-Hitler and promised he could get the starring role in 2012 if McCain crapped out. RobSFree Kyle! 01:51, May 29, 2021 (EDT)

HarperCollins won't publish "Trump bible"
Nobody has read this book yet. But just the title was enough to trigger outrage from liberals. See "Zondervan won't publish âGod Bless the USA Bible,' says marketing was 'premature' after backlash" and "'God Bless the USA Bible' creates 'toxic mix,' say critics who call it a 'Trump Bible'." The USA Bible people wanted to use the NIV translation. But it turns out that Zondervan and much of Christian publishing is owned by publishing giant HarperCollins, which has now gone woke. They plan to use the KJV translation now, which is not copyrighted. Maybe they can get NKJV from Thomas Nelson or ESV from Crossway. I'm an ESV Study Bible guy myself.
