James "Jim" Clyburn , (b. July 21, 1940) is the Democrat representative from South Carolina. His title in the 112th Congress is Assistant Democratic Leader. Previously, Clyburn was the House Majority Whip from 2007 to 2011.
Jim Clyburn is a big backer of Barack Obama and liberal causes. Clyburn is often caught using obnoxious, partisan racial speeches and sound bites, underhanded politics.
