Reports indicate the new Russian republics east of the Dnieper do not need the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant for supplies of electricity; they can be supplied from Rostov. Western Ukraine (west of the Dnieper) does need the ZNPP. Therefore, in exchange of formal recognition of the new international borders, the RF may be willing to give up the ZNPP. US ally President Diem was murdered in a CIA-backed coup. Henry Kissinger later said, "To be an American enemy is dangerous, to be an American friend is fatal."
Is this the Trump effect? or America remaining the most powerful country on the planet for the foreseeable future? Not 8 hours after Western media headlines Trump & Putin making an agreement not to attack energy infrastructure, Zelensky attacks energy infrastructure.
Maybe Trump's a liar, or maybe he's too weak, or maybe the United States can't live up to and enforce its commitments. Or maybe Zelensky signed his own death warrant. Who knows? RobSZelensky Must Go! 03:44, March 19, 2025 (EDT)
IMO, Trump may have to deal with Zelensky in the same manner that Putin had to deal with Prigozhin. RobSZelensky Must Go! 03:48, March 19, 2025 (EDT)
In a sense it's kinda funny, if not ridiculous. Trump talks about 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers encircled in the Kursk pocket, but not a word about the 68,000 killed there on Zelensky's and NATO planners' command since last August. It's really a testament of the utter ignorance of Western MSM and news consumers.
In observing Trump, IMO one can say he individually is capable of pulling off his own psyops. It's hard for me to believe that he is oblivious of the 68,000 whose lives have been squandered in Kursk in the run-up to the election and Western efforts to "Trump-proof" the war before he took office so that Trump would be blamed, not Biden, for the defeat. “ Before this war began, the almost-universal belief was that US/NATO weaponry and equipment were far and away superior to anything the Russians could put on the battlefield.

That unfounded faith in the unrivaled supremacy of western arms has now been shattered — although we already see the think-tank apologists fashioning their strained rationalizations.

Nevertheless, when one examines in aggregate the implements of war the US/NATO have provided to Ukraine, the overwhelming majority consists of the very stuff every military in NATO would field in a war against Russia, or anyone else, for that matter.

Here is a sobering truth: if the Armed Forces of Ukraine could make one wish, it would be to respawn as the army and abundant quantities of effective and durable Soviet equipment they had in February 2022. That was, all things considered, the strongest army they would ever have. And it was, in great measure, squandered on the altar of a misguided commitment to NATO field doctrines that repeatedly proved misconceived and ill-adaptive to the war that actually ensued, as well as the war as it has subsequently evolved. We're in a transitional period. The honeymoon is over, and Trump's personal approval rating, despite being at an all-time high, is below 50%.
Richard Nixon, the all-time high vote getter in 1972 with 62%, still was destroyed by the Washington Post and mainstream media in less than two years. Why? Cause he attempted the same thing Trump is now doing. Upon his re-election, during the transition period he requested resignations of the entire federal government to clean out the dead weight of New Deal & Great Society holdovers (drain the swamp). The deep state railroaded him.
Now, that was only possible cause the opposition controlled the Congress. But this isn't a time to gloat. You can bet there is a scandal out there, real or manufactured, being drummed up for the Midterms.

“ Within the recent interview between President Trump’s emissary Steve Witkoff and Tucker Carlson, there was a very weird segment where Ambassador Witkoff was heaping praise upon the Qatari government. [SEE HERE] Carlson sat there nodding and affirming his support for Witkoff’s opinion of Qatar. It was really bizarre. {GO DEEP}

That segment of the interview was bizarre because there is zero doubt that Qatar is a bad actor in all things related to the middle east and U.S. domestic policy outcomes. For Ambassador Witkoff to be that wrong about such a big item puts a question mark behind his judgement and the influences on his opinions toward the relationships in the middle east.

Qatar is bad news. President Trump has previously, correctly, called out the nation of Qatar for being the center of support for radical extremism throughout the region. Qatar is also connected at the hip to the CIA.

Qatar funded and supported the original “Arab spring,” more accurately known as the Islamist Spring. Qatar is the banker for the Muslim Brotherhood....

Within the USA Qatar funds the same groups the USAID (technically the CIA) funds that stir up trouble domestically. Those groups include The Brookings Institute, who in turn fund Lawfare, specifically the efforts of Mary McCord (DOJ), Andrew Weissmann and Norm Eisen. Qatar spends money on issues in/around the USA that are against the interests of our country and President Trump specifically....

To be fair, Waltz did the honorable thing and accepted the fault for adding JG. No?Telling (talk) 19:53, March 26, 2025 (EDT)
True, that's the cover story for now. But it's clear he was duped, either by a "trusted" staffer, or knowingly or unknowingly by Goldberg. Bottomline, Tulsi, Ratcliffe, or Hegseth would be idiots to trust him again anytime soon. And he is/was their main link to the White House and President Trump. Whatever the outcome, the Trump foreign policy agenda has been slowed, at least until the next disruption before all this gets sorted out.
I see this as a deep state attack on Tulsi & Hegseth. Ratcliffe handled it well. RobSZelensky Must Go! 19:58, March 26, 2025 (EDT)
I think we see what's happening now: the day after, The Atlantic is demanding everybody's resignation - except Waltz. Mission Accomplished.
Rather than criticize Trump's judgement, I think we have a better idea how Trump operates (in the First Administration, Trump was often forced to accept people he didn't want cause of negative press, lawfare against people who did accept positions, or the corrupt FBI denying security clearances. Now we see the old Trump from the Apprentice at work: Waltz & Kinzinger were the only House members to criticize Trump for having the Taliban to Camp David for talks. So Trump says, 'Ok, I'll be fair and give you a chance. Let's see how good you can do' and invites Waltz to do the job. Waltz, like Kinzinger, is a duplicitous POS who thinks he's saving America by taking down Tulsi, Hegseth, and others & damaging Trump's reputation again. In the end, Trump can always override any stupid or bad decisions flunkies make. Heck, he got his appointee Wray to resign before he had to fire him. Update: Gatewaypundit: DEVELOPING: Was Mike Waltz a Source for Jeffrey Goldberg While Serving on House Intel Committee? See what I mean? What should CP do now after User:Conservative worked so hard for so many years to rehab The Atlantic and globalist warmongers? Pretend this problem in the conservative movement doesn't exist? So the question is, "Was it an honest mistake?" Essentially, it doesn't matter cause of the damage done. Tulsi, Hegseth, and Ratcliffe may have to take the hit for his sloppiness. He should go (albeit, under other circumstances). It may take a while to get rid of him, in the meantime nobody should trust him cause it's their necks on the block, and he should be cut out of the loop in high level discussions and decision making. BREAKING: Trump needs Elise here in Congress

Trump on Truth Social at 11:12 Arizona time:

As we advance our America First Agenda, it is essential that we maintain EVERY Republican Seat in Congress. We must be unified to accomplish our Mission, and Elise Stefanik has been a vital part of our efforts from the very beginning. I have asked Elise, as one of my biggest Allies, to remain in Congress to help me deliver Historic Tax Cuts, GREAT Jobs, Record Economic Growth, a Secure Border, Energy Dominance, Peace Through Strength, and much more, so we can MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. With a very tight Majority, I don’t want to take a chance on anyone else running for Elise’s seat. The people love Elise and, with her, we have nothing to worry about come Election Day. There are others that can do a good job at the United Nations. Therefore, Elise will stay in Congress, rejoin the House Leadership Team, and continue to fight for our amazing American People. Speaker Johnson is thrilled! I look forward to the day when Elise is able to join my Administration in the future. She is absolutely FANTASTIC. Thank you Elise!

Right. Well, maybe, now, there is more pressure post Signalgate (and fears for weakening backup when votes are needed), and possibly to avoid (FL. Seat) Waltz to making him the fall guy? I'm not sure.. Telling (talk)
I don't know how they can keep up the ruse, pretending Waltz is a "team player" with Tulsi & Hegseth (the real targets). They did a good job shuttling the blame back on The Atlantic. But Waltz has been exposed as part of an anti-Trump conspiracy again, calling into question Trump's judgement, again. In a week or two, other events, scandals, or manufactured scandals will overshadow the current fiasco. Waltz will be booted or resign to teach, spend more time with family, be reassigned as Ambassador to the Chagos Islands or something, You know the drill. Simplicius always has an interesting take. I'm going to redact a portion cause it's obviously a bit inflammatory: "It’s clear that a coordinated operation is ongoing to destabilize Trump’s rule in any way possible. While the Europeans hamstring and undercut the Ukraine war settlement at every turn, American deep state forces are attempting to paralyze the Trump administration with concocted scandals. The latest is ‘Signal-Gate’, obviously spun-together by the [redacted] Jeffrey Goldberg, operative head of the Atlantic rag, as a scheme to discredit and slowly chip away at Trump’s key cabinet members.
"There is a war going on, as Trump slowly fights to cleanse this deep state faction, seen today with his executive order on the declassification of ‘Russia Hoax’ Operation Crossfire Hurricane. The Goldberg setup could very well have been designed to take heat off any revelations soon to come from the above." [35] RobSZelensky Must Go! 18:12, March 27, 2025 (EDT)
There's another possibility re:Stefaniak: They need her in Congress for the budget bills for FY 2026, which is usually voted on in May. Then they go on break in June. Broad outlines of peace deal taking shape

Broad outlines of a peace deal are taking shape. The first two obstacles to overcome are the racist attitudes of Americans (as exhibited by User:Conservative in Conservapedia) on the American side, and the justifiable lack of trust toward Americans on the Russian side. But this is the vision shared by Vladimir Putin & Donald Trump if those two hinderances can be put aside eventually:

  • US & Russian partnership and cooperation on rare earth mineral deals, oil, and natural gas extraction in Ukraine, Russia, and the Arctic.
  • US & Russian formal recognition of revised borders to include US possession of Greenland (with cooperation on mineral and gas extraction) and the revised Ukraine rump state borders, with Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, Zaporozhe, Kharkov & Odessa going to Russia (with cooperation on mineral and gas extraction) (this leaves ambiguous the status of Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy & Nikolaev, which still has to be worked out). Kiev, Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk and probably Vinnitsa will remain the heart of the Ukrainian rump state. These issues will have to be decided by local plebiscites - excluding the areas already incorporated into the Russian Federation. What's likely to happen, although far from a certainty yet, is will the Ukrainian rump state be landlocked (like Serbia or the Kurdish province in Iraq), or will the Ukrainian rump state have a "corridor to the sea" like Poland had between 1919 and 1939. Being that the Russians have won the war, no sea access is likely (meaning Ukraine can pay tariffs for all imports and exports passing through Russian territory. Too bad, but that's the price future generations of Ukrainian producers & consumers have to pay for this generation crawling in bed with Victoria Nuland, Anthony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Joe Biden, Barack Obama or listening to racist scum like User:Conservative). Another remaining issue is, Who will supervise the referendums? Certainly not the OSCE or any other NATO power involved in aggressive operations against Russia. There are some side issues in play, for example, Can Hungary reclaim Transcarpathia as Ukraine is dismembered. Transnistria also likely will return to Russia from Moldova.

It's a longterm, long overdue structural change away from the Bretten Woods system established in 1944. It won't be accomplished before the 2026 Midterms or in Trump 2.0 administration.
In a way, it's similar to the "Shock Therapy" established in Russia in the 1990s with the collapse of the Soviet Union that eventually led to the rise of Putin. Only instead of leading the USSR away from an autarky to integrate into the globalist system, this is the opposite - leading America away from a globalist system (which was what Bretten Woods built) to greater self-sufficiency.

Let's take Milton Friedman's 1980 book, Free to Choose, a response to Jimmy Carter's "malaise" and became the gospel of free market economics and free trade for a generation, for example. While the book remains a vital educational resource, few MAGA proponents quote it today (including Phyllis Schlafly). That phase has passed. Trump tariffs restrict Americans' right to choose foreign goods. RobSZelensky Must Go! 23:29, April 5, 2025 (EDT)

Update: Vietnam, Taiwan Capitulate: Offer To Remove All US Tariffs, Boost Investment.

See, we're back to the same problem we had in the 1980s when the free trade movement got underway: Can nations like Vietnam afford to pay for high-priced goods produced with high-priced American labor (which include things like the cost of Obamacare, maternity leave for homosexual marriages, etc.)? So does it really matter if there's matching import duties on American goods sold to Vietnam (like Boeing or other expensive duel-use military industrial complex exports) while they sell cheap shoes here? How many pairs of Nikes = 1 Boeing aircraft in a "basket of goods", etc.? Developing story. RobSZelensky Must Go! 09:27, April 7, 2025 (EDT)

The decisions are all up to the American consumer. Looks like prices at Dollar Tree will double overnite. Fortunately, with the disappearance of cheap manufactured goods there won't be much job loss in America (except certain retailers); it just will take time to develop the industry for import substitution (kinda like Russia experienced after 2014) but a tremendous opportunity for entrepreneurs. It's the inflation we have to deal with right now, somewhat offset by cheaper energy. RobSZelensky Must Go! 16:21, April 8, 2025 (EDT)

This leads to discussion about the stupidity of supplying long range missiles to Ukraine or shooting down $200 drones from Yemen with $4 million missiles. Same lib. Boasberg gives slap on the wrist on "palestine" fascist vandal

Pro-Hamas vandal of federal statue gets 10 days in jail, must pay $1,500. The National Park Service estimated that Zaid Mohammed Mahdawi caused some $11,000 in damage. Zaid Mohammed Mahdawi, who caused $11,282.23 in damage for his pro-Hamas vandalism outside Washington’s Union Station per the National Park Service, was sentenced to 10 days in prison, six months of supervision, 80 hours of community service and $1,500 in restitution, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia stated on Friday. Mahdawi, 26, of Richmond, Va., pleaded guilty on Jan. 23 to the misdemeanor of destroying government property. He spray-painted “Hamas is coming” on a statue outside the train station and took down an American flag on July 24, 2024, during a riot in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the U.S. capital. James Boasberg, chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, who has made headlines for his oversight of a controversial case involving the deportation of gang members, who are in the country illegally, to El Salvador, sentenced Mahdawi in the vandalism case.. Sundance of the Conservative Treehouse has spent much time and effort explaining how, contrary to popular belief, and due to globalization, Wall Street is no longer a barometer of the American economy.
You can begin here, in February 2016 when Trump was running for Trump 1.0, Sundance explains MAGAnomics.
Sundance regularly updates the series, most recently 2 days ago.
Apparently, Trump always had the intention to implement the tariff program in his first term. But the Deep State, with Russiagate, had other plans for perpetual war, the NATO war in Ukraine, etc., and disrupted Trump's agenda with investigations, impeachment, lawfare, etc. RobSZelensky Must Go! 20:41, April 8, 2025 (EDT)

Breaking: Trump increases tariff charge on China to 125%, puts 90 day pause on tariffs for other countries.
This is a dagger aimed at the heart of globalism.
Note: Placing tariffs on the whole planet was to close a loophole of China evading tariffs by using other countries. The 90 pause is a temporary respite to sort things out: Daily Caller: Trump Sends Markets Soaring With Big Tariff Announcement: "Trump announced a 90-day pause on tariffs for roughly 75 countries that did not issue retaliatory tariffs". RobSZelensky Must Go! 13:51, April 9, 2025 (EDT)
The excitement over the stock rally based on the 90 day reprieve is crazy; the capital gains holding period is 1 year, not 90 days.
While nobody, nobody has a clear handle on what is happening and what is about to happen, Amit Sengupta has an interesting take on Trump's strategy: 10% of Americans own 90% of all stocks, the bottom 50% own nothing but debt. Trump is trying to intentionally crash the stock market to force investors out of stocks and into equities, i.e. US Treasury debt, to lower interest rates.
When you couple this with Sundance's argument that Wall Street, controlled by globalists, is no longer a barometer of the economic condition of Main Street, it can make sense. RobSZelensky Must Go! 13:50, April 10, 2025 (EDT)
