The hospital which Hamas itself states is a "military" hospital .

In Dec 2024, IDF detains hundreds of terrorists at Hamas hospital base. At least 15 of those arrested took part in the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre. Many were posing as "patients."

Ahead of the operation, the IDF evacuated civilians. But this was not elaborated by MSM.

In Dec 2023, Gaza hospital director Ahmed Kahlot admitted serving as Hamas commander. He admits that there were at least 16 staff members at the hospital who also had positions within the Hamas military organization. Hamas leaders had their own office/phone line at the hospital. Hostages were held there. They had their own ambulance to travel in.

Hussam Abu Safiya is a Hamas Colonel. He has also been propagating for jihad at least since 2021 but in NYT he appeared as just a guest writer.

📍 IDF Operational Recap: Hamas Center in the Kamal Adwan Hospital, Gaza:

🔸 240+ Hamas, Islamic Jihad terrorists and other operatives suspected of terrorist activities were apprehended, some of whom attempted to pose as patients or flee using ambulances.

🔸 Despite repeated calls to refrain from allowing terrorists to exploit hospitals for military activities, terrorists were once again using the Kamal Adwan Hospital as a command center for its military operations in Jabaliya.

🔸 Approx. 15 terrorists who infiltrated Israel during the Oct. 7 massacre as well as Hamas engineering and anti-tank missile operatives were taken in for questioning.

🔸 The director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital, who is suspected of being a Hamas terrorist operative, was also taken in for questioning.

🔸 IDF special forces conducted precise activities inside the hospital locating and confiscating weapons in the area, including grenades, guns, munitions, and military equipment.

🔸 Notwithstanding the threat of terror, prior to the beginning of the targeted operation, 350 patients, as well as caregivers and medical personnel, were evacuated from the Kamal Adwan Hospital in coordination with COGAT in recent weeks. Tens of thousands of liters of fuel, food, and medical supplies for the essential functioning of the hospital were also delivered to the Kamal Adwan Hospital over this period.

During the course of the targeted operation, an additional 95 patients, caregivers, and medical personnel were evacuated to the Indonesian Hospital in coordination with local officials in the health authorities. 5,000 liters of fuel, two generators, and medical equipment were delivered to the Indonesian Hospital in order to maintain and operate essential systems in the hospital. Additionally, hundreds of civilians were able to move away from the area for their own safety via defined evacuation routes.

🔵 In short, it was Hamas and senior officials from Kamal Adwan, who turned the Hospital into a terrorist command center, and therefore a legitimate military target under international law, including Art.19 of the 4th Geneva Convention, Art. 8(2) of the Rome Statute and Article 52(2) of the 1st Protocol to the Geneva Convention of 1949.

Furthermore, the IDF discharged their obligations in full compliance with IHL, including principles of precaution, distinction, necessity and proportionality.

The Palestinian Authority itself has revealed that Hamas turns hospitals into military interrogation facilities. As proof, on Facebook, the PA posted a summons issued by Hamas to a Gazan to report to Nasser Hospital to be interrogated by Hamas' military intelligence.
