Kathryn Ruemmler is the former Obama administration White House Counsel who served between June 30, 2011 and June 2, 2014 during the so-called "Arab Spring," Libyan War, and Benghazi massacre. As of 2019 Ruemmler co-chairs the firm of Latham and Watkins' white-collar crime division and represents former Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice whom she worked with in the White House.

Previously, Ruemmler worked with Andrew Weissmann on the Enron Task Force.
