Long Covid refers to long-term health problems resulting from contracting Covid-19. Many individuals have reported having adverse health effects from Covid-19 long after apparently recovering from it.
Approximately one in five victims of Covid-19 suffer from "long Covid", which means they continue to have lingering health problems for months or years afterwards.
